This campsite is 2WD friendly and caravans are welcome. You may need to level your caravan for a good night's rest.
Your pet, on a lead, is welcome to camp with you. We love animals, but one of the reasons we left suburbia was to get away from barking dogs. If your dog barks at night, or is not we’ll socialised, you’re best to leave pooch at home!

Our property is an easy walking distance to the local village where you will find the shop/ general store and the pub is dog friendly. It's around 1km to The Channon Craft Market grounds, and the markets are on the second Sunday of each month. Lots of crafts, clothes, jewellery, gifts, food stalls and entertainers to see and enjoy.
This campsite is located right on the banks of the flowing creek. It's a private site with access to two good swimming holes. Enjoy warming your feet around the campfire in the evenings, subject to fireban conditions.
We welcome only self-contained campers who bring their own camping shower and drinking water. There is access to rubbish facilities.
For those wanting to explore a bit further we are 15kms from Nightcap National Park and the beautiful Protesters Falls. There is a walking track that leads through lush World Heritage rainforest right up to the falls.

Absolutely — here’s a polished version that still feels warm, genuine and fun rather than overly “review-ish”:
We had such a lovely stay! The camping space was fantastic — flat, beautifully grassed and plenty of room to set up and enjoy the surroundings.
The little creek was a definite hit with the kids and the dog, while the bigger swimming hole was enjoyed by everyone. It was the perfect spot to cool off, have a splash and let the kids (and dog!) have some fun.
The sunset views were absolutely beautiful and made for the perfect end to the day.
Kane was a wonderful host — kind, welcoming and easy to deal with. The amenities were clean, well looked after and nicely stocked, which always makes a camping trip that little bit easier.
We’re already looking forward to coming back when the cabin is ready for a little date-night getaway! We’ll definitely be back again.

Lush green grass and trees in a quiet secluded farm. Friendly inquisitive cows were non threatening and very used to human contact.
Dry firewood. Lots of birdlife. Just a short drive to the NRRT as Bungabee Springs is 1/2 way between Lismore to Casino section. Ideal if you want a relaxed stay between rides.

We had the best time camping here! There were 9 of us girls, and the campground was perfect for our group. The property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and so well looked after. Katrina and Kane were such lovely hosts, so welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help if we needed anything. They really made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved staying at Bungabee Springs at the Scrubby Creek campsite. It was easy to get to as the directions were easy to follow. The campsites are large and well marked. The hosts are lovely. Nice quiet spot with the only noise being the sound of the creek running over the crossing and the local wildlife. Each campsite had it's own firepit 😎 to relax with a beer in the evenings. We stayed 2 nights as it was a beautifull green valley and very quiet. Kane dropped in to say hi and delivered a load of firewood. I one point 20 odd cows came up to check us out.

Scrubby Creek camping was perfect for our trail riding group. Plenty of room for floats & horses. The hosts were friendly & helpful. Riding in Bungabee forest is brilliant.

The pleasant, flat grassy Scrubby Creek campsite suited our visit during 3 rainy days. Unfortunately it was a bit of a scramble to walk across the flooded creek to the toilet/shower and too wet for a campfire. We enjoyed the walk to The Lookout and in drier times would like to explore more walks. The daily visits from the cows entertained us as did the birdlife. On future visits we would prefer to stay on one of the 4WD accessible campsites further into the bush. We didn't encounter our hostess. This was a pleasant, close to home escape for a few days.
