This campsite is 2WD friendly and caravans are welcome. You may need to level your caravan for a good night's rest.
Your pet, on a lead, is welcome to camp with you. We love animals, but one of the reasons we left suburbia was to get away from barking dogs. If your dog barks at night, or is not we’ll socialised, you’re best to leave pooch at home!

We are on a 180 acre cattle farm situated along a running creek with swimming holes. Surrounded by pristine pine trees and natives. We are roughly 15 minutes from all 3 surrounding towns Kyogle, Casino and Lismore. We are also only an hour away from the beach for any day trips planned.
Great spot to stop for the night on your trip or stay for a weekend and take in the peace and quiet. We are easy to pull into and can cater for all size vans. Roads are all freshly gravelled and well maintained to cater for 2wd access also.
Toilet and Water provided but respect us by taking your own rubbish with you.
Beautiful little stream with rapids and rock holes to keep yourself cool in summer.
More than welcome to bring hiking shoes, mountain bikes to go explore. As long as you respect the farm rules and if the gate is shut you shut it behind you.
No 4wding is permitted on the farm.
Animal feeding is an activity we provide with food available to buy for the animals.
Firewood is also available to purchase on arrival
Dogs allowed on leash, please respect all the other campers on site and generators are welcome to be used but need to be turned off at a respectable time.

This campsite is located right on the banks of the flowing creek. It's a private site with access to two good swimming holes. Enjoy warming your feet around the campfire in the evenings, subject to fireban conditions.

Dunoon village is cute yet, very practical.

Our favourite part of living at Soulhaven is the daily orchestra of birds! Although you will feel like you’re completely secluded from busy town-life, we are only 15 minutes from the nearest shops.
Enjoy a toasty campfire in the evenings where you can sit back and gaze at the stars. There are trail bikes tracks nearby and the iconic Border Ranges is just past Kyogle.
This campsite is 2WD friendly and caravans are welcome. You may need to level your caravan for a good night's rest.
Your pet, on a lead, is welcome to camp with you. We love animals, but one of the reasons we left suburbia was to get away from barking dogs. If your dog barks at night, or is not we’ll socialised, you’re best to leave pooch at home!
Our place is family friendly and we ask that you keep music and noise to a minimum after 10pm.

We are on a 180 acre cattle farm situated along a running creek with swimming holes. Surrounded by pristine pine trees and natives. We are roughly 15 minutes from all 3 surrounding towns Kyogle, Casino and Lismore. We are also only an hour away from the beach for any day trips planned.
Great spot to stop for the night on your trip or stay for a weekend and take in the peace and quiet. We are easy to pull into and can cater for all size vans. Roads are all freshly gravelled and well maintained to cater for 2wd access also.
Toilet and Water provided but respect us by taking your own rubbish with you.
Beautiful little stream with rapids and rock holes to keep yourself cool in summer.
More than welcome to bring hiking shoes, mountain bikes to go explore. As long as you respect the farm rules and if the gate is shut you shut it behind you.
No 4wding is permitted on the farm.
Animal feeding is an activity we provide with food available to buy for the animals.
Firewood is also available to purchase on arrival
Dogs allowed on leash, please respect all the other campers on site and generators are welcome to be used but need to be turned off at a respectable time.

Over one kilometre of "Rocky Creek" runs through the Pecan Fields camp area, providing gorgeous waterholes for swimming, walks and great water front sites to set up camp for the weekend! You can even see Platypus in the early mornings, playing in the creek. All of the camp areas are easily access-able and flat, usually 2wd car is all you need. You will feel like you are immersed in the beauty of nature here and yet you are only 6 minutes easy drive from the village of Dunoon, NSW 2480 and 45 minutes beautiful country drive from glorious Byron Bay beaches and it's very exciting night life! On every second sunday of the month, the Channon Markets are on, which is just 10 minutes drive from camp.
Sorry, we can't cater for dogs due to camp being a native animal sanctuary.
Dunoon village is cute yet, very practical.
There is a general store, bottle shop and they sell ice, Mechanic, Post Office and the best bit, you can even go out for dinner or lunch depending on the day, at the Dunoon Sports Club/ Pub or Channon Tavern, then head back to your secluded country camp and cool off in the beautiful creek or warm up and enjoy some quality time around the camp fire!

Nice clear area for setting up camp without too much fuss about space taken up. Good toilet and shower facilities, including for handicapped individuals. Communal building allowing AC power supply for charging phones, cameras and other electronic devices. Very friendly hospitality extended by area manager Patricia and associate Dillon and other staff.

What an amazing place to stay the photos don't do the stay justice, we came with a camper trailer and 4x4 car had the option to stay way out in the middle of nowhere but stayed fairly close to the amenities which not many hipcamps offer hot showers and free WiFi, once set up we had a walk down to the amazing waterfall and took the 4x4 up on the peaks to watch the sunset over the distant mountains, gregg is 1 of the most friendly people even when busy he will stop make sure your fine have a chat bit of advice even offer to take you around the 270 acre land in his biggie, I would 100% stay again, great location for nimbin, lismore and 1 hour from byron bay and minyon falls, must see places and a must place to stay

Always a great stay at Oakey Ridge! The property feels so inviting and Greg is such a welcoming host. There’s been some great upgrades to the amenities and camping sites since i stayed in 2024, which signifies a caring land owner. I was parked about 1km away from the main amenities block and still had decent Telstra service. It was the perfect camp to sit and be with country, thank you Greg for the time :)

Booked for a couple of nights as a camping test run with my family and couldn't have picked a better spot. Hosts were super lovely and accomodating, checked in to make sure we were having a good time.
The property was beautiful and peaceful and of course getting taken to see and feed the cows was amazing. Very keen to come back for a longer stay in the future!

Greg is an absolute legend for letting me snag some of the amazing looking mangos that were growing while I was there (not much better than munching straight into fruit off a tree). Bit of a trek to either loo from the fig tree site but absolutely worth it to be able to pat a couple cows on the way.

Greg is an amazing host, and this was by far the best camping spot we’ve been to.
You have total peace and quiet and can stay completely on your own on the grassy hills. There’s a small river, a waterfall, and mango trees.
Highly recommended and very fairly priced, even for us as very low-budget travelers.

Loved that there were some swings for our daughter to play on & that the whole space was fenced.
Sunset over the ranges was absolutely beautiful & definitely a highlight of ours.

Would recommend for nature lovers, beautiful fresh creek to swim in, dams to watch frogs and dragonflies, walks explore to do birdwatching and the free night tour to see glow worms and glow mushrooms was the highlight. The hosts very passionate and knowledgeable about there little bit of paradise. They organised some optional social activities like dinners too.
