Hilltop hipcamp and panaramic range views, located 5 mins from town on a sheep & cattle property. Amazing base to day trip and explore the northern rivers, with just over an hour to Byron Bay, Lennox Head and less than an hour to Ballina, Yamba and Evans Head beaches. Also if you want adventure for bush walks and waterfalls to National parks (Border ranges and Nightcap National park, just over an hour away) The town offers all the big retail supermarkets (Woolworths, Coles and Aldi), take away food, Rsm and Golf club and several pubs as well as some lovely family parks for the children to skate and play. Dylans Park View is pet friendly and offers an off leash dog run. When not in the dog run, all dogs need to be on a leash. There is also a couple of swings for the children to play on whilst the adults sit back and relax. Firepit and firewood provided Located just off of the Bruxner Hwy, with easy access for off grid camping. There are no showers or toilets, so your camping needs to be fully self sufficient. A camp kitchen with BBQ (Gas bottle supplied when requested) Table, chairs, fold down outside table, hammock, book swap and games. Camps need to be kept clean of litter and all camp rubbish to be taken with you when leaving the campsite. What a gem stunning views of the mountain range and so peaceful and relaxing. Our dog loved the dog run. Galahs cockatoos corellas flying over and cows horses and sheep in the paddocks love the country life. Will definitely be back great hosts thanks Janelle and Ray

A lovely outlook from the property. Very peaceful. Large area, reasonably flat and grassed. Our hosts were excellent and welcoming.

Absolutely lovely hip camp. The views were amazing Janelle and Ray lovely house. Very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend. Great weekend had will definitely visit there again.

Janelle was very welcoming and the view is amazing and there is also a dog run for dogs to run around freely not on a leash, which was good to let mine run around. Will definitely stay here another time.

This was a wonderful experience for our first hipcamp! Jenelle was lovely. The view was fantastic and it was a pleasure to stay. We enjoyed the campfire and rural outlook. We hope to be back!

Jenelle and Ray are really wonderful camp hosts! So friendly and they brought me fresh fruit this morning and were lovely to chat to. The property is beautiful and my dog absolutely loved being able to safely trot about and explore our camp. The sunset over the mountains was stunning, and the area is so peaceful. Would absolutely stay again 🩷

Jenelle and Ray were very welcoming and clear with their directions. The camping area is easy to access and a good location for exploring the area. Friendly cows and newborn lambs in the adjacent paddocks, when I stayed.

From beginning to end our booking was smooth sailing. Directions to the property were spot on. The weather wasn’t the best windy and threatening rain but there is a little shed at the site which offered an area out of the weather. We had a peaceful say with wonderful views and a spectacular sunrise. Our hosts were very accommodating, friendly and very helpful. Would recommend.

Camping at Dylan park was exceptional the hosts were amazing and so accommodating! It rained the whole time but was still an incredible property to camp on! The kids were kept busy whilst we were setting up on the tree swings. I would 100% recommend spending a few nights here.

I had a great time at Jenelle’s property. The campsite has an amazing view and a great shed that saved me from the rain. They also provide some wood and a fire pit to enjoy at night.

Great stop to stay and ride the new stretch of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail. The view from the campsite was amazing, the hosts were welcoming and friendly, and the campsite was well maintained. We’d definitely visit again.

Sunset Spectacular

This property is just stunning. The sunset we experienced was something spectacular. We were treated to watching cattle being mustered up to the yards and the backdrop of mountain ranges was pure peace and serenity. Our hosts were prompt and replying to enquires and we were treated with a pre barrow load of fire wood and put to enjoy sit n sip time. Solid level ground for the van was reassuring. Definitely will be going back.

I enjoyed our stay, the views were amazing, it was relaxing just what we needed. Jenelle and Ray were so welcoming, such beautiful people. Will definitely be staying again when we are in the area.

Downsides to the site…

What makes this so hard is that The host was A+ , truly one of the best. Kind, friendly, generous, flexible with check in-out, provided firewood at no extra cost, and access to his private bathroom if needed, then left us to enjoy our time. What a star! Host gets 10/10!! But the site loses points for us. While the site has an epic view, if you’re facing one way, it’s right on the back of their working farm house and shed, so not a private or secluded site as we were going for, and with that comes highway noise, machinery / factory noise due to work going on fairly close to the site. They grounds had stinging nettles which were problematic for the little kids and us who like to be bare foot when in nature . A great spot for a stop over but not one for an immersive nature experience.

Oh my gosh. Where to start. Our view was absolutely amazing and so peaceful. Our hosts Jenelle and Ray are the best. The kind of people you would like a lifelong friendship with. If you book here it will definitely not disappoint you. We will be back and that says it all. Enjoy. Les and Chris
