The rainforest Treehouse is situated in a rainforest pocket of the Mount Warning Caldera, completely surrounded by lush and vibrant nature and sheltered from the outside world, while being just 2 minutes away from us and the comfy road that will take you to an amazing swimming hole, cafés and the nearby town.
Once you enter the Treehouse private drive you will feel yourself being transported into a magical world of gently flowing water, natural light, tall trees, chirping birds, rustling leaves, crickets, and frogs.
You will notice the energy shift into the safe embrace of our land, protected by Springbrook Mountain.
The location of the Treehouse was chosen by our then young children. We all fell in love with the magnificent camphor laurel tree growing at the edge of the seasonal creek.
We all found ourselves drawn to that place, so with the help of our friends and our children we began the project of manifesting a dream into a reality - the dream of living in the tree canopy.
As we worked on the Treehouse, the design was constantly changing. The whole family, especially our youngest son, contributed to the manifestation of the dream. During that time we overcame many obstacles and found solutions to build in the tree. It was an adventure, a lot of fun and we learnt a lot.
It became a dwelling for our kids for a period of time, until they grew up and left to conquer the big wide world.
Now it is here for you to enjoy, to reconnect with your dreams, to dive deep into your childhood playful memories where the world of fantasy and reality merge together.
Here you can just be yourself, embraced by nature and view at the world from your Treehouse verandah.

She has found the perfect spot for you so you can immerse yourself in nature in the shade of lovely trees, taking flight with the eagles above Springbrook Mountain, lifting up and rejoicing life. The vibrant tantric red colour of the cabin will fill you up with new energy and freshness. it is supplied with clean, luxurious linen and towels. The daring bathroom allows you to bask in a bubble bath while enjoying your favourite beverage watching the stars. That beautiful experience will be enhance by the symphony of the surrounding nature.
The cooking and dining area is set up for your highest comfort and equipped with everything you need.

We have grassed valleys and forested hills, which provide the perfect setting for bush walking, bird watching, star gazing, or just relaxing. All of our camp sites are well separated from each other. If it's total seclusion and privacy you're after, "Fig Tree" and "Ridge Top" would be perfect for you. While "The Old Hut", and "Washout" are closer to the road, they are not visable to each other. Our newest addition., "The Reserve" is tucked away on the banks of a special shady grassed area with lots of room to spread out.
Guests staying with us must have their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. The sites are accessible for 4WD only.
Get back to nature and explore.
Many native animals have been spotted on the property wallabies,
possums, echidnas, goannas, bandicoots, dingos, and koalas as well as a large variety of birds. Also a variety of frogs i.e.. Red/orange eyed tree frog, desert tree frog, white lipped tree frog, striped and spotted marsh frogs, striped rocket frog and stoney creek frogs. ( see how many different calls you can hear)
This beautiful 200acre property in Camp Creek is part of the original
"selection" by William Dimmock in 1895. It was a dairy farm, and at one stage the family grew market garden crops on a plateau high up the mountain, using a flyingfox to bring the crops down.
Originally the property took in "Screw Gully" from Glenapp up to Tartar Creek Rd. In the 60's Jim Dimmick (grandson to William) sold out and the land was sub-divided. The property now supports up to 40 head of breeding cattle and 2 retired horses.
Scenic Rim hosts local wineries; restaurants and coffee shops, and Mt Tamborine, all within an hour drive. Only a 1.5 hour drive to the Gold Coast.

The location of the Treehouse was chosen by our then young children. We all fell in love with the magnificent camphor laurel tree growing at the edge of the seasonal creek.
We all found ourselves drawn to that place, so with the help of our friends and our children we began the project of manifesting a dream into a reality - the dream of living in the tree canopy.
As we worked on the Treehouse, the design was constantly changing. The whole family, especially our youngest son, contributed to the manifestation of the dream. During that time we overcame many obstacles and found solutions to build in the tree. It was an adventure, a lot of fun and we learnt a lot.
It became a dwelling for our kids for a period of time, until they grew up and left to conquer the big wide world.

Our newest addition., "The Reserve" is tucked away on the banks of a special shady grassed area with lots of room to spread out.
Guests staying with us must have their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. The sites are accessible for 4WD only.

Many native animals have been spotted on the property wallabies,
possums, echidnas, goannas, bandicoots, dingos, and koalas as well as a large variety of birds. Also a variety of frogs i.e.. Red/orange eyed tree frog, desert tree frog, white lipped tree frog, striped and spotted marsh frogs, striped rocket frog and stoney creek frogs. ( see how many different calls you can hear)
This beautiful 200acre property in Camp Creek is part of the original
"selection" by William Dimmock in 1895. It was a dairy farm, and at one stage the family grew market garden crops on a plateau high up the mountain, using a flyingfox to bring the crops down.
Originally the property took in "Screw Gully" from Glenapp up to Tartar Creek Rd. In the 60's Jim Dimmick (grandson to William) sold out and the land was sub-divided. The property now supports up to 40 head of breeding cattle and 2 retired horses.
Scenic Rim hosts local wineries; restaurants and coffee shops, and Mt Tamborine, all within an hour drive. Only a 1.5 hour drive to the Gold Coast.

Nestled in the beautiful rainforest of Commissioners Creek, Trickling Waters Retreat is a peaceful sanctuary where forest, water, and wildlife come together to create a truly grounding escape. Our land offers a blend of comfort and raw natural beauty.
Wake to birdsong, fall asleep to the soft rush of the creek, , wander through open grassy spaces, or relax by the water’s edge. The creek flows year-round sometimes deep enough for a refreshing dip, and other times shallow, cool, and perfect for wading, creek-walking, or just sitting with your feet in the water while listening to the trees.
In the evenings, gather around your private fire pit, , each site offers a unique firepit experience with wood provided, perfect for slow conversations, warm or cold drinks, and unwinding by the glow of the flames. and letting the stars take over the sky. It’s a quiet, peaceful spot where guests often tell us their minds finally stop racing.
We currently offer a spacious secluded glamping tent overlooking the creek, plus beautifully spread-out grassy areas ideal for campers seeking a true nature experience. Guests also have access to our modern amenities pavilion, hot shower, flushing toilet, and a shared outdoor wash-up area to make your stay effortless.

We absolutely love this camping spot. We have returned to this hidden gem a few times now it’s the most beautiful camping spot. Necia is so kind and accommodating, very quick to respond to our questions and went above and beyond to accommodate us.
We had family and friends come visit us this trip and everyone wants to book to come back and stay.
The creek is beautiful so clear and fresh we swam every day in the watering hole and our kids can endlessly play moving creek rocks around! Definitely can recommend bringing swim inflatables to relax and float in the creek.
The toilet is very clean and not smelly, fantastic for a drop toilet.
Cannot recommend this site highly enough!

Beautiful property, with amazing facilities. The little bathroom and sink we were expecting, but there were other little touches that were so gratefully appreciated. The sites were all labeled with there title and also included my name.
Also rare to find was a bin at each site and the bathroom block , also very appreciated. There were supplies at the sink and a box of games

Beautiful, clean, quiet and peaceful. The shared space was a life saver for cooking and cleaning up. Toilet and shower was cleaned daily as well as the bins being changed. Will be returning!

The Rapids camp site was nice and private with a short walk to the rapids
4x4 tracks were very good, few very steep descents on the way down but not to hard with access to the water

From the moment we booked our site The Family Tree throughout our 3 day stay was nothing but perfect.
First up Anna and Tim are amazing hosts. The communication was fantastic and easy directions to site.
Anna met us and showed us down to a gorgeous site The Family Tree right beside a running creek that was just bliss to listen too and let your worries fade away.
Also just magical veiws of mountains,ridgetops,
and beautiful nature everywhere you look.
On a clear night the million star view is beyond stunning 😍
The site was clean and tidy, some good shade for the hot summer days.
We also were very grateful to Anna and Tim who offered to take us around to show us all the other sites they have on the farm and can I say they are all amazing from down by the creek sites and up too the sites looking over the valley. The top sites would be amazing for sunset views.
We absolutely loved our back to nature farm stay with the most wonderful hosts we have ever had.
We can't wait to return 🤩and would not hesitate recommending Tweed Valley Doon Doon

The best place we’ve ever camped!
We had an amazing time at Sarah’s farm. We chose the site called Mango, and it had the most beautiful view we’ve ever seen. It was peaceful, quiet, and incredibly cozy.
Just 15 minutes after we arrived, while we were sitting outside, a koala crawled up a tree only about 10 meters from our van—an absolutely unforgettable experience!
Sarah was incredibly sweet and welcoming, and she made us feel safe and at home from the moment we arrived. We truly wish her all the best and would love to come back someday.

My Wife and I, along with our dog, loved camping at River Bend with this one on the list to return to. Lovely big open site and very private. William is a great host and was very accommodating meeting and welcoming us on arrival and showed us to our site.

Great site options at Stuart's property! We found a shady spot amongst the trees. The outhouse is clean and has a great view.
Stuart also kindly lent us a gas bottle as mine had run out. Overall a wonderful stay despite the rainy weather.
