Our Hinterland hideaway, Booyong farm is Nestled in the beautiful Clunes hills. With a combination of natural bush and 600 grand old macadamia trees, Booyong Farm can give you that private off grid experience while being only 5 minutes to Clunes Store and Cellars (which has great food, coffee, groceries, fruit / veg, alcohol and a postoffice), 15 minutes to Bangalow, 20 minutes to Lismore and 30 minutes to Byron Bay.
Alongside our old horse Sunny, our Chooks, the Cows and our dogs Bowie and Naboo :) there is abundant wildlife on the property such as wallabies, echidnas, platypus, eagles and a wide variety of other birdlife.
Choose from 3 sites in either the Main Farm Plateau (Site 1), Creekside (Site 2) or the Macadamia field Site 3).
Note: for Creekside and Macadamia Field access you will need a 4WD. All sites offer privacy for guests and have a great view of the stunning sunsets we have each day at Booyong Farm.
The spring fed freshwater creek is accessible year round for all sites and is nice to cool off in after a bush walk, either on the property or at one of the many breath-taking locations nearby.
There is so much to do in this area... from fine dining and horse riding to lazy days on the beach. No matter what time of year it is there is always something fantastic to experience here in the Byron Shire.

What a magical place. The drive to the property is breathtaking. The views go on forever, and there’s even a market stall as you leave — we picked up fresh eggs on the way out. We’ll definitely be back so we can explore the area more.

We popped in for a quick over night stay and Riverdale on out trip north.
It is right on the river if you love a fish.
Paul has an old Red Kelpi, she was lovely and friendly.
She got loads of pets from the kids.
Paul was easy to deal with.
Camp site was nice and dry, flat and well maintained.
We highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

We loved our stopover night at Brickella. The directions to the property were great and once on the property was easy to find a great, quiet and secluded place to camp the night. We were greeted by a very friendly horse that wonders around the camp area. We met Phil while we were fishing, he is a top bloke and he was happy to share his story about the property. We will definitely be back to this hipcamp in the future.

Perfect quick little getaway. Our dog was stoked to get out into the paddocks, and see the cows. We were given clear and accurate directions from the owners. Whole place is maintained well and was nice to sit back and enjoy the breeze in an open field over a hot weekend. Will stop off again in the future!

We were welcomed by Phil who showed us the area we could stay. Unfortunately we found our tent to be broken as we were setting it up so we had to pack up and head home.
We would love to return and Phil was very accommodating.

massive area to camp well maintained phill was easy going host made the whole process simple. running creek on the property good swimming and we caught mud crabs and 1 flathead. this is what was needed in the area always loved evan’s heads but found the actual camping grounds overly priced and pack like sardines !!!! brickella was a great spot 🍻
