Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise.
Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek branching west of the Mooloolah River to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots/shoes are highly recommended.
There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches.
Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). There are Portaloos located at or near all campsites.
Caravans or motor homes are not permitted due to the steep terrain. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

How to get to us? We have two ways in .
Option 1:
Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks .
we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre.
Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended.
Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.
This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey !

In 2019 I was sitting in my Alfresco Area feeling that the beauty offered in front of my property should be shared to people I thought might appreciate a different aspect to Coober. Since that time I have probably had 2000+ guests enjoy what Coober Pedy Views has to offer.
Whilst it remains a rustic type setting, with campers needing to be SELF SUFFICIENT (Flushing LOO with a VIEW is now available for campers without their own) I can offer Power (subject to availability) $10 pn to 6/8 sites.
Digging anywhere on the property is forbidden, there are no Opals on CPVs evident when the 3 large garages were dug. Digging softens the ground making it dangerous for avalanches on the embankments and walls especially after rain that creates washouts as you can see on the front embankments. Our Public Noodling Area is the only place in Coober safe to dig freely.

We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane.
The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude.
From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest.
There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway.
It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest.
Enjoy the spring fed dam in the warmer months. 🏊♂️
There is plenty to explore in the area, including:

Framed by the rugged border range National Parks "Mindoo" is 1100 acres of rolling green hills dissected by the pure, cascading, waters of the Cataract River which provide a number of private riverside campsites. Campers are encouraged to meander along the continually changing River and explore its many secluded swimming holes and enjoy the abundant wildlife that cohabitates with the Angus/Wagyu cow herd. Direct access to the neighbouring National Parks and State Forests offers an array of day trips to hikers, mountain bikers, or horse riders where they can discover the natural treasures of Basket Swamp and Boonoo Boonoo Falls, Woolool Woolooni, among others.
For those who require a little more comfort, and lets face it we all do at times, the Mindoo Cabin is available. Featuring three bedrooms, open plan living/dining/kitchen,and a shady deck overlooking the River the cabin sleeps eight and still allows visitors to partake in all the adventures that "Mindoo" offers with the benefit of a comfortable rest when the day is done.
Unfortunately horse riding is no longer covered by our insurance policy. You are able to bring your horses, however evidence of your own insurance policy must be provided.
Be as adventurous or as restful as you please as both options are freely available. Mountain Biking, Hiking, or just riding your hammock and relaxing we are sure you will enjoy your time at "Mindoo". All of our river sites are designated and are space apart.
As most of our sites are on the river and have farm tracks to access, if it is wet we may have to move you to a different site. 4wds are recommended for all sites and are required for some site. Please read the listing for the campsite you are wanting to book. Some of our sites do not suit caravans. All roads require high clearance vans.
If you do not like dogs or your own dogs are not very sociable Mindoo may not be the place for you. Daisy the Doodle (Golden Retriever/Poodle) and Paul the Pig Dog (a very gentle Bull Mastif/Catahoula) like to come and say hello to campers at The Park & The Junction.

Each camping site is by the river, prime position for fishing, canoeing, and swimming. Based on availability, you are welcome to choose your spot on arrival. All options are grassed and level.
You will have access to pit toilets (3) otherwise, please BYO facilities. Small campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided, or BYO firepit (permitting there are no restrictions in place at the time). Firewood can be purchased at the time of booking.
We’re pet-friendly! Please note, however, that we are a working farm with ongoing activities and resident animals, including livestock and farm dogs, so all pets must be kept under control at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or potentially dangerous dogs of any type are not allowed — especially restricted breeds (e.g. Pit Bulls, Bull Mastiffs). Only friendly dogs are permitted, and we reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog is deemed unsafe or aggressive upon arrival. If you have any doubts, please message us prior to booking.
Also, please ensure kids are supervised at all times, particularly around the river. Lifejackets are recommended.
During your time here, visit the local farm gates in Tumut, Batlow, Tumbarumba, and Adelong for their delicious high-country produce. There are also some beautiful swimming spots and walks to discover in the region, as well as good facilities in town, including the local swimming pool and shopping centre. Enjoy a local brew and bite to eat at the Tumut brewery. Bahwidgee is just 3km from the Tumut town centre - so close you could ride in, or even walk.

Nestled in the beautiful rainforest of Commissioners Creek, Trickling Waters Retreat is a peaceful sanctuary where forest, water, and wildlife come together to create a truly grounding escape. Our land offers a blend of comfort and raw natural beauty.
If you're after loud music and late-night vibes, this probably isn't the right fit. Guests come here to unwind and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature so we ask that noise is kept low and loud music isn't permitted.
Wake to birdsong, fall asleep to the soft rush of the creek, wander through open grassy spaces, or relax by the water’s edge. The creek flows year-round sometimes deep enough for a refreshing dip, and other times shallow, cool, and perfect for wading, creek-walking, or just sitting with your feet in the water while listening to the trees.
In the evenings, gather around your private fire pit, , each site offers a unique fire pit experience with wood provided, perfect for slow conversations, warm or cold drinks, and unwinding by the glow of the flames. and letting the stars take over the sky. It’s a quiet, peaceful spot where guests often tell us their minds finally stop racing.
We currently offer a spacious secluded glamping tent overlooking the creek, plus beautifully spread-out grassy areas ideal for campers seeking a true nature experience. Guests also have access to our modern amenities pavilion, hot shower, flushing toilet, and a shared outdoor wash-up area to make your stay effortless.
Whether you’re a couple seeking a romantic nature getaway, solo traveller wanting space to think, or small group looking to unplug and breathe again, Trickling Waters Retreat offers a calm, memorable escape on one of Commissioners Creek’s most serene pockets of land.

Welcome to our 20-acre working farm between Ulladulla & Nowra, NSW South Coast—under 3 hrs from Sydney/Canberra. Authentic bush vibes: open paddocks or shady trees; a short walk to a quiet creek. Spot kookaburras, wallabies, wombats, plus our farm mates: cows, chickens, & Elmo the horse! 🐄🐔🐴 An ideal weekend getaway or Jervis Bay stopover.

Booking & Site Rules 🚐
• Noisy, disruptive, drunken or antisocial behaviour? You’ll be asked to leave immediately—no refund. 🚫
• No group bookings—keep it mellow! 😌
• One family/primary vehicle setup per site only.
• Permitted: 1 vehicle + 1 caravan/camper trailer/motorhome, OR solo motorhome/campervan.
• 1 extra vehicle (car/small 4WD) OK at added cost—tell us when booking.
• No extra caravans/trailers/motorhomes—book a separate site after checking with Christine.
• Check-in & check-out times are strictly enforced to allow time for cleaning and maintenance between guests. Early or late check-out options are available when booking, so we can manage changeovers smoothly.
• Respect wildlife, neighbours & animals 🦉: Quiet hours 9 pm–7 am (crickets & kookaburras rule! 🌙), secure food/rubbish, no feeding/approaching wildlife. Low lights, stay on your own site.
• Pets are welcome but supervised around farm animals & wildlife. 🐕
• Fires allowed in provided firepits (check danger ratings)—gather fallen wood or buy at gate $20! 🔥🪵
• Fresh free-range eggs $7/dozen—text for drop-off! 🥚🚗
We enjoy limited phone reception; 2WD is usually fine, but 4WD may be needed in wet weather. Mind wombat holes, stumps & snakes when exploring.

Weekend Trip to Mystic Adventures Greenbank
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights stay stay in the cabin. Beautifully situated amongst the trees, and well appointed with all the comforts of home. I was so impressed with Kathryn's attention to detail, obviously a lot of thought and care has gone into making their guests feel right at home. The garden is beautiful and by night just magical by the fairy lights. So good our dog could come too. A perfect escape!

Stunning place just like the photos. Constant sound of the river which we loved, made for deep and restful sleeps. Fires under starry skies, private and quiet, even gets the afternoon sun in winter. Owner’s friendly and helpful, wood on hand to purchase, we had an axe which was useful for kindling but had forgotten paper, so appreciated them giving us firestarters. Great area to explore, walks etc. loved it!

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Mystic Adventures. The cabin was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the toilet and shower were clean and well maintained.
We loved the peaceful ambiance, beautiful garden, and stunning sunset views. It was also great that the property is dog-friendly. The projector was easy to use, and having mobile signal in the area was a nice bonus.

We love camping here! This trip was forecast for lots of rain and thunderstorms and it was my birthday so didn't particularly feel like being soggy so we upgraded and stayed in the tiny house which was such a treat! Has everything you need. And the fire heated hot tubs by the river are just such a special thing to add to any camping trip. Hosts were lovely as always, we will keep coming back ☺️

From the moment we arrived at MYSTIC ADVENTURES, everything felt calm, peaceful, and genuinely welcoming. The privacy, the quiet outdoors, and the warmth of the space made it so easy to slow down and just be present together as a family.
The cabin was beautifully set up with everything thoughtfully prepared — from the extra kitchen essentials, tea, coffee and condiments, to the fresh bread which honestly made the stay feel even more special. It’s those little touches that make you feel cared for, not just accommodated.
Our kids absolutely loved the garden and outdoor space, and for us it felt like glamping in comfort and style — all the beauty of nature without the stress of having to bring everything yourself. Even our dog settled in so happily.
This place gave us quality time, quiet moments, and memories we’ll genuinely hold onto. We left feeling rested, reconnected, and already talking about when we can come back.

We had a wonderful stay and a really great experience overall. The environment, nature, and peaceful atmosphere were absolutely amazing. Outdoor cooking was such a lovely experience, and everything was well set up. Dan was very approachable, communicative, and helpful throughout our stay.
A small suggestion would be to clean gas barbecue and add a few extra lights around the area. Other than that, everything was awesome. We were very happy 😃 and would highly recommend this place just book it!

5 nights at Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat
Stayed in the Tiny Home for 5 nights and Kristy and Dan have thought about absolutely everything for your time away! From the moment you drive into this place until the time you drive away, you are met with tranquility, quiet and calm. There are 10ish camping sites on the property but each is spread out quite nicely from the other campers meaning you get your own little piece of paradise for the time you are there!
The tiny cottage is set up so well! Whilst there is no mains power, there is ample solar power for lights and hot water in the bathroom. The deck is absolutely amazing (where I spent most of my time) and the outdoor heated bath along the river was the most perfect way to spend the evening relaxing.
For activities - cruising the rapids with a tube or stand up paddleboard (without the fin) is a MUST! Exploring the rocks and river is fun as well with an array of wildlife around.
Access to the camp is through a steep dirt road so a 4WD or high clearance AWD is required. I took a Subaru Outback which nicely traveled in and out without changing any settings.

Jacob got a really nice place. Not too far from nearest town Ravenshoe but still feels like away from the whole world.
No phone reception, which was really nice and relaxing.
The beautiful river is just 1-2 minutes walk away.
The shed got a small room with bed as well.
Kitchen was well equipped.
We had fun and enjoyed every second of our stay.

Where to go
New South Wales
New South Wales has a bit of everything that makes Australia such a great place to camp. Hipcampers can choose from snow-covered mountains, beaches, rainforest, and Outback plains—you can always find a good camping spot in NSW.
Queensland
Australia’s favourite place to escape the cold, the white-sand beaches north and south of Brisbane in southeast Queensland are warm enough to swim in all year-round. It may be too wet in summer to camp comfortably in the rainforest of Cairns, the Tropical North, and along the Great Barrier Reef, but winter is the best time to swim in the sea. The Outback, too, is at its best in the cooler months.
South Australia
A wild, dramatic, and mostly deserted coastline, South Australia’s rugged outback ranges and fantastic wine are just a few reasons to pitch a tent or park your caravan here. It may not always be swimming weather (the ocean waters are cold), but the beach camping here is some of the best in Australia.
Tasmania
Any time's a good time to visit Tasmania, a place that will delight intrepid Hipcampers with its wild and remote national parks and camping sites. You'll need a warm sleeping bag and good wet weather gear, as it can snow on the peaks near Hobart even in summer. But don't let a little dampness put you off, because it rains here all the time, which is why the World Heritage wilderness areas are so beautifully lush.
Victoria
Just down the road a bit from Melbourne, Victoria’s Great Ocean Road is a bucket-list road trip that lives up to the hype, with some of the best coastal camping areas around. Hiking and camping in the Grampians is good year-round, although the snow-covered high country peaks and the east coast national parks are best saved for the warmer months.
Western Australia
Western Australia is huge, so don’t expect to see it all in a couple of weeks. Let the weather be your guide and explore the coastal national parks, forests, wineries, and beaches south of Perth during the hot, dry summer, then head north to Broome and the Kimberley for a 4WD camping adventure in winter, when it rarely rains.
Northern Territory
When the wintertime chills hit the south, the Northern Territory is the place to be, especially if you’re fond of campervan road trips. The deserts of the Red Centre offer warm, fly-free days and cold nights ideal for gathering around the campfire. Kakadu National Park and the Top End are hot and dry—perfect for swimming.
