The best camping near Mirror Lake State Park guide

Overview

About

In the summer months, you can rent a boat, canoe, and kayak from the park's concession store. Mirror Lake offers two boat ramps, but you can't take motorized boats on the lake.

Lazing on the swimming beach area is a great way to spend the day. More than 19 miles of hiking and cross country ski trails cross the park.

You can fish from your boat or along the creek banks that feed the lake. This park has a dock that you can toss a line into. Forgot your fishing gear? You can borrow some from the park's office.

Camp among the towering pines and old oak trees in one of the 151 family campsites. These sites are located in three campgrounds around the park. At each site, you find a fire ring and a picnic table for outside dining.

This Wisconsin state park has a cottage designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, a famous architect. There is also a single cabin available for those who don't like roughing it. Firewood is available for sale at the ranger station.
