Sandy Creek Park
Tue to Sun: 8:00am – 7:30pm
This itty bitty baby 25-acre park (only .04 square miles!) is one of the many happy, younger siblings to neighboring big bro, Pace Bend Park. Less than 30 miles from downtown Austin, this sunny beachside oasis is perfect for a weekend family getaway! Great for swimming, fishing and boating, the park also has short trails for nature walks in the sand and wooded bluffs, where you’ll be swooned by the tunes of the world’s oldest singing stars (were talking way before T Swift here) - songbirds such as the endangered Golden-Cheeked Warbler! Fire up the barbeque and enjoy some D’s & B’s (dogs and burgers) along with some R&R as you watch the sun dip below the horizon on this quiet corner of Lake Travis.
