This is truly a gem. When we looked into staying a few nights in Austin, even small airbnbs were unaffordable. The sweet little trailer was enough for 2. The bed was extremely comfortable. The yard with the humongous live oak was magnificent.

The Urban Camper was my dream come true for staying in Austin. Quiet setting in a sweet neighborhood walkable to my favorites but out of the craziness. I loved the outdoor shower and "Austin" decor touches that reminded me of my first visit 15 years ago.

What a peaceful, cozy, comfortable spot, with the kindest hosts. The cabin was perfectly appointed. I needed a place to rest and recharge and I got exactly that. The outdoor shower was the icing on the cake. Pretty much nothing better than being sheltered by a wise old oak tree as you wash off that road dirt. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to see the more peaceful and humane side of Austin!

I loved staying at the cozy camper here! The outdoor shower is SO gorgeous, and such a nice respite from the Texas heat :) hosts were communicative, kind, and I would definitely recommend!

We visited Austin for the weekend and loved our stay at Brent’s place. It’s exactly as pictured and we had everything we needed to be comfortable for the weekend. There are so many small touches that make this camper a quintessential Austin place to stay. Complete with a list of great recommendations for and it’s in a great location too! Would definitely recommend!

It was a beautiful space with well thought out details. We spent a night before flying out. The location is convenient but didn’t feel too in the city. The outdoor shower was fun. There are many fireflies in the backyard which felt magical. The space was comfortable and the decor was really fun. Thank you for a great stay!

We've stayed at Brent's cabin twice now and had a great experience both times. It's a tucked away piece of calm nature with easy access to central Austin. Brent has everything stocked from towels to coffee. Check-in is simple and the place is easy to find. We love the outdoor shower under the big oak tree!

Honestly, this was one of the best stays my partner and I have had. Brent’s attention to detail is unparalleled. Close to the airport and a bunch of cool restaurants. Comfortable, pretty spacious. The outdoor shower was awesome. 10/10 would stay gain, thank you Brent!

Lovely little hideaway in the heart of East Austin. The cabin was absolutely precious and cozy as can be. We had the leisure of feeling like we were outside with the comforts and amenities to make one feel at home. The outdoor shower was exceptional - I honestly wasn’t too keen on the idea, but once I saw/tried it out I was pleasantly surprised. You hidden away by a beautiful oak tree and it was so serene in the morning - I already miss the shower. The property itself is spacious and special; lots of little thoughtful details - A picnic table, hammock, seesaw, steps up the beautiful oak tree if you want to indulge in a climb. Not to mention extremely close to a very lively neighborhood, about a 20 minute walk to cafes, coffee shops, bars - you name it. And a very short drive to downtown Austin, Barton, Springs, etc. Brent was exceptionally kind and helpful/responsive. If you want outdoor feels, to feel safe and comfortable but in close proximity to everything please do yourself a favor and stay here.

Deep appreciation for the opportunity to stay at The Urban Hideout you — the old oak tree, outdoor shower, little haven, garden, birds and squirrels and puppy oh my!
Really lovely .
It was also fun to rent a bike during my stay and bike around Austin .

We loved everything about this space. Incredible respite from busy Austin but still has everything accessible. Small space that has everything you need for a fun and comfortable stay - remember to use all the biodegradable products provided for the live oak. Nothing better than Dr. Bronners almond soap toothpaste, outdoor shower, and old school see saw. You can tell craftsmanship and functionality went into creating this magical little spot. Thanks again Brent!
