Amazing views
Hipcampers say this spot has amazing views.
At the Confluence of the Mighty Llano River and the Majestic James River lies something completely unexpected - an undiscovered gem in the Texas hill country. The Dos Rios. We have over 19.3 acres of hill country beauty to explore. Take a casual dip in the mighty Llano River, or take the plunge off of 20-foot red rock cliffs into deep cool water. Kayak, canoe, swim, visit the Eckart Bat Cave, or take a scenic drive down the gorgeous James River Road (a winding gravel road that goes over several low water crossings on the crystal clear James River). Enjoy the island in front of the property, with its beaches and multiple access points to swimming holes. We also have camping, a tiny home and a fully renovated vintage airstream available (see other Hipcamp listings). We also rent kayaks and canoes! www.dosriosrvpark.com

Site 3 - Dos Rios Camping
This was such an amazing experience for us, there were chairs and tables at every camp site. The staff was incredibly accommodating to us & everything we needed. Right next to the site there is a river that we spent most of our time at. Perfect for lazy days sitting/swimming in the water. It’s only about a 5-10 minute walk but you can drive and park close to the water if you have coolers/chairs/etc. If you’re looking to be secluded I would say this is not for you, the sites are closer together than we originally thought but would be perfect for group trips which I think we will be planning soon! Cannot say enough how wonderful this trip was.

Perfect Get Away
Very lovely little campground. Every tent site has a picnic table, fire ring, and hammock. There's a place to wash dishes at the bathhouse. The stars at night are fabulous. I did nothing but lounge by the river and eat snacks, and it was wonderful. The wifi isn't bad, and I was able to get a smidgen of the wifi signal at my campsite. Some of the tent sites feel pretty open, and some of them feel secluded, so you can take your pick. I felt secluded enough that I could change clothes in the open air, and I refused to wear a bra for my entire stay almost (this is a plus in case you're wondering). They also have cabins, campers, and glamping tents that looked pretty cool. Very dog friendly place. My lab absolutely loved it. Overall, I had a great time here, and I was able to really enjoy my solitude... and take a shower when I needed it.

Happy Dogs on this Trip
We had a great time! We went for our first trip to check it out as it's not far from home. We loved the spot on the river and the best part was they allow dogs off leash as long as you are in control of them. We have had our dogs trained and they rarely get a free space to be dogs because of so many leash requirements. It was so fun to see them have a blast in the river and all around. We will be back for sure!
