Edisto Beach State Park
Maybe skip this state park if you DON’T want to fall in love because Edisto Island sure is a looker.
Start off at the Environmental Learning Center for a scheduled program or a look around. There are miles of trails running through the maritime forest of live oak, hanging Spanish moss, and palmetto trees. This state park is also home to the state's longest system of accessible hiking and biking trails.
Explore beaches teeming with seashells. Our minds are racing with all the nature craft possibilities. Once you’ve collected your perfect set, lay out a picnic in one of the oceanfront picnic shelters.
Campers of all sorts will find sites to spend the night. Choose from furnished cabins or 112 standard sites with water and electricity. If you want to get a bit more rustic, try the walk-in tent camping at Live Oak Campground.
