Beautiful hills to camp on and watch an unobstructed view of the Carolina sunset and sunrise that peak through wooded acreage. Choose a tent camp location or pull/drive your RV/camper right near our cow pasture and watch the cows graze. Fresh drinking water at campsites. Bathroom and heated shower. Pick wild blackberries in early summer and wild grapes in late summer early fall, and we may share some of our home made jellies with you. We welcome family groups year round. At night enjoy the sounds of wildlife while watching the highly visible twinkling stars and tracing the many constellations and if lucky see a shooting star or two.

We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Listen to the frogs croaking, crickets chirping and whipporwhills calling every evening under a magical blanket of stars. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark!
For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? Katie's cabin is the perfect oasis to recharge and she is a very gracious host. We loved listening to the birds in the day and the frogs and crickets at night. We can't wait to go back and spend more time than this trip allowed. The cabin has the basic essentials, the bed is comfy, and it's super dog friendly. Don't pass this place up, book it!

We had a great time in our RV at site 2. The view of the lake/reservoir was beautiful, and the whole experience was relaxing and peaceful. There is a bit of traffic noise from the road on the other side of the water but nothing bothersome. It was great to have full hook-ups. The septic hook-up is slightly up hill so don’t be like us lol and be sure to park as close to it as possible to avoid needing an additional hose. As another reviewer mentioned, there are some ticks but that’s to be expected when you’re camping in the woods- just something to be aware of if you aren’t already. There isn’t a picnic table on site but we had a folding table that we used for cooking. We will definitely be back with a kayak and fishing rod! Thank you, Chris for a great trip!

very very pretty at night, the host was responsive and nice. since our last trip was so nice we’ve booked it for the second time now! the fire place is perfect to put a grill piece over so you can cook. we could see the stars and moon from our tent and it was gorgeous to wake up to the sun on the water! will be using this whenever we want to do a little camping trip.

What a fantastic spot! Was so picturesque and secluded. Felt like I was in my own little world. Though I didn’t use the kayaks I think they’re a great addition. I spotted the alligator at night before I went to bed which was super cool. And the frogs croaking at night are incredible to listen to as well as watching the bats swoop around. I was in town visiting Congaree National Park and thought this spot was the perfect distance away! Would come back in a heartbeat if I visit the area again.

We enjoyed stargazing, watching fireflies, and being serenaded by four species of frogs & toads in the pond: Cope's gray treefrog, southern cricket frogs, Fowler's toads, and green frogs.

Taylor is a wonderful host, extremely sweet and she obviously cares about her land. Around the campsites there are trails to walk and explore the land. The campsites are extremely well kept and Taylor provides everything you could need for a nice weekend in the woods.

Our family had the best time camping here! Mr. Steve is so nice and has a ton of knowledge of local history and plant life that he shared with all of us. He even brought out his telescope to let the kids use at night. The land is beautiful and we had a blast exploring the woods. If you have little kids, I would advise to watch out for snakes because we saw several but they did not bother us and we enjoyed watching them. Lake Wateree is right down the road and we enjoyed swimming and fishing there!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this location. The host added a dock to walk out to the water and we spent plenty of time watching out at the horegous view. We inflated some rafts and paddle around the reservoir, it was so much to be out in the water an watching nature all around us. The fish are very active so if you loving fishing this place is for you. Fishing is only allowed on Thursdays and Saturdays though. There was plenty of space to walk the pups and even set up our bug tent. The host was very nice and very responsive(thank you so much!). Highly recommend this location for the relaxing vibes, beautiful views and great host. Only heads up I will give is to park close to the sewer hook up, we didnt and the hose was tilted down hill (this was our oversight in the beginning).
