My two siblings and me were raised here and later bought joining land that now makes up the 400 acres. We all still live on the farm with our families 1.4 mile down a dirt and gravel road. We all enjoy the peace and quiet that you will find here. Sounds of our cows, wildlife and the occasional rumble of a distant train is all you will hear on our farm. There are a few different attractions 5 - 10 minutes away (lake Robinson) it has a boat landing and plenty of fish, (Carolina Sandhills national wildlife refuge)it has plenty of hiking trails and roads perfect for bicycling, small mountain called (Sugarloaf Mountain)perfect for hiking. Local peach/strawberry farm (McLeod farm) with produce/gift shop/free museum/restaurant called (Big's), they have pick your own strawberries in the spring and early summer. In nearby Hartsville and Cheraw there are several golf courses and places for Kayak rentals. Neptune Island waterpark in Hartsville. We have a hidden Creek that is fun to hike to by way of a trail. Small pond for fishing, plenty of room for hiking and bike riding ( grassy, sandy, rolling hills). Beautiful hills to camp on and watch an unobstructed view of the Carolina sunset and sunrise that peak through wooded acreage. Choose a tent camp location or pull/drive your RV/camper right near our cow pasture and watch the cows graze. Fresh drinking water at campsites. Bathroom and heated shower. Pick wild blackberries in early summer and wild grapes in late summer early fall, and we may share some of our home made jellies with you. We welcome family groups year round. At night enjoy the sounds of wildlife while watching the highly visible twinkling stars and tracing the many constellations and if lucky see a shooting star or two.

We went on a 390-day roadtrip from North Carolina all the way to California. Hit 22 states + Tijuana, and stayed at SEVERAL Hipcamps, National Parks, and RV Campgrounds. Our familiarity with the camping mindset enables us to adapt and cater to your unique camping needs with ease.

Riverfront Adventures is a peaceful, flat grassy campsite nestled along approximately 600 feet of riverbank on the beautiful river. 🌿🌊
Enjoy a quiet escape surrounded by nature, with plenty of space to relax, watch wildlife, fish, or simply unwind by the water. The riverfront is also great for kayaks, canoes, and other small watercraft when conditions allow.
What to enjoy:

There are no campsite hookups, but potable water is available from a hose on site for filling your fresh-water tank.

Please note: There may be other campers on the property. Well-behaved, friendly dogs may be off leash if they are reliably under voice control; we have neighboring dogs, so reactive, aggressive, or dogs prone to wandering must remain on leash.

Rosewood Farm and Agripark is my home. I honestly had about the most amazing childhood one could have on this very land! We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! We have 200 acres of farmland that features rolling hills, multiple ponds, creeks, farm animals, show horses and countless wildlife viewing opportunities. Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Listen to the frogs croaking, crickets chirping and whipporwhills calling every evening under a magical blanket of stars. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark!
For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? My goal is to make this land as magical for your family as it has been for mine!

The waters are home to bass, bream, crappie, and catfish. There’s a public boat ramp on the opposite shore, and the lake allows electric motors only — perfect for peaceful days on the water. Kayakers are always welcome!

Digital nomad traveling with my 9 y/o pittie so even with plenty of experience... sometimes things just don't go as planned. I was in a tough spot. Thankfully, I was allowed to charge my laptops and phone as well as providing access to the hose by the pool. With those things settled and supplies on the way... there was nothing to but enjoy nature. I wasn't situated in the very best spot because I didn't have my usual tow vehicle, but it ended up being delightful. I don't think you can go wrong with any spot. Lovely mix of terrain for sniffers. I do have a spinal issue and some trouble walking but found the land to be very walkable. So you don't have to be very nimble to enjoy some of the cutest spots. Quiet. Private. Walmart and Amazon delivery available. Cell service was perfect and I worked from my hot spot as well as the small but mighty library in town. There are no frills in this town... nothing pretending to be more fancy than it is... just authentic, kind people and nature. So if you need a forest detox from the ick of (sub)urban life, this spot worked for me. I lichen it.

This place was amazing! My wife had never been camping before, and I haven’t been since I was a kid, so we really didn’t know what to expect. Alex was an amazing communicator and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.
There was honestly a LOT more to this site than I expected. We booked the RV/Tent site, where I set up a tent in the back of my pickup. Alex also has a little cabin/shack with a porch overlooking the pond that he offered for us to use. He even let us take his little boat out on the pond, which gave my wife and me some quiet, romantic time together.
The property was peaceful, secluded, and felt like our own little oasis. There are other tent sites, but we were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves. Alex also had cooking tools, pots, pans, and other supplies available if needed.
You can hear some dogs way off in the distance at night, but it didn’t bother us at all. Getting into the site is a little bumpy, so drive slowly and expect some mud if it has been raining. We went during dry weather with a truck and had no issues.
If you want somewhere to disconnect and get away from the world, I HIGHLY recommend this place. We are DEFINITELY coming back and hope to bring our kids when they’re a little older!

Twin pines was absolutely amazing. The hosts are absolutely lovely people. They helped me move over to a better spot after hearing I was setting up my hammock which was right next to their beautiful creek. They also informed me on any wild life I might have to look out for and were more than willing to help me in anyway. An absolutely amazing stay and I hope to be back again!

Melissa and Dennis were there to meet me and show me to my spot. They were extremely kind, hospitable, gave me information on the local "spots" and responded immediately to any questions I had. This is a family farm and I got to meet several of the family members, everyone was fun and kind. On more than one occasion they brought me fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs from the property. One of the family members drove me around the property a couple of times at sunset, STUNNING!! I attended church with them and it was one a great sermon message from the pulpit.

Weekend Trip to Private Oasis In The Forest
Alex is an amazing host. If you wanna get away, be left alone and completely secluded, this is the spot to go to. We had a little mix up on my part with scheduling, and he was amazing about it he went above and beyond to accommodate us.

Great quiet campsite, with plenty of open spaces to pitch a tent and hammock! A short walk through the woods and you are at the lakes edge.
Owners were very accomodating.

The dock and very private lake were lovely. I swam several times. I enjoyed the shade of the trees near the lake and my hammock I put up. I also had a fantastic time using one of the kayaks and exploring the lake. I saw several Eagles and Osprey and Herons and plenty of fish jumping. I also thought it a nice touch to provide firewood, water, electric, and a bag of goodies.

We had a wonderful stay at Egles Landing. The campground was quiet, peaceful, and the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. The relaxing atmosphere made it easy to disconnect and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
One of the highlights of our trip was kayaking. Being out on the water and surrounded by such beautiful scenery made for a memorable experience.
A special thank you to Kevin, our host, who was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. His hospitality helped make our visit even more enjoyable.
If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with a relaxing atmosphere and great kayaking opportunities, we highly recommend Egles Landing. We look forward to visiting again!

A beautiful place to be completely private. I will come back here often. Stephanie was very nice and helpful to work with. 🙂
I will say that pulling a trailer will be extremely tough getting to the campsite. Best in a high clearance vehicle. Not too long either. Class B or truck camper is best. I was in 4wd Dodge Dually w pop up truck camper.
It was Heaven on earth because I was alone to be me entirely! 🙂
