Fishing is 20 minutes away at Skagway Reservoir.

You'll take an immediate right into the driveway off of 165. When you reach the top the hill turn right and you will have your choice of several campsites on the east end of the hill. Fires might be allowed. Check https://www.pueblo.us/2602/Fire-Restrictions If fires are allowed, they must be in campfire circles ONLY! Dead wood on the property is OK to burn. Or Firewood is available to purchase nearby in Colorado City. Do not burn trash please. All trash needs to be packed out. Camp ground #1 has a gravel area for an RV/camper/tent/car and a mulch/grass area for tent camping. As well as a fire ring, picnic table and accessible potable water on the west end of the hill. Camp ground #2 has cleared ground and has a fire ring and picnic table. Plenty of room for RV/camper/tent/cars. Feel free to pick your campground! Bring your own toilet for now. Use of firearms is strictly prohibited. No fireworks are allowed. Quiet time is after 10:00 p.m. Please be respectful of neighboring properties. And remember you are on a hilltop so sound can travel. :-) THINGS TO DO: * Lake Beckwith - Lake Beckwith is the perfect place for walking, fishing, and boating. A Colorado Fishing License is required and all dogs must be on a leash. Personal paddleboards, kayaks, and non-motorized boats are welcome. * Lake Isabel / San Isabel  Just a twenty-minute drive up Highway 165, San Isabel is a picturesque little community nestled in the mountains alongside Lake Isabel. Lake Isabel is the perfect place to spend the afternoon fishing, kayaking, or hiking. The Lodge at San Isabel, a restaurant and general store is open Mid-May through October. A Colorado Fishing License can be purchased at the gift shop and is required to fish at the lake. Personal paddleboards, kayaks, and small non-motorized boats are welcome. * Bishop’s Castle: Located 30 minutes up Highway 165, Bishop’s Castle is a stone and iron fortress nestled in the trees of the San Isabel National Forest. Wind your way through the castle’s wrought-iron stairwells through three-stories of towers and bridges. Visitors are always welcome free of charge, and the castle itself is always open. * Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve:  One of the two tallest sand dunes in North America is located two hours west of Colorado City. Open May through October. This secluded, 2-acre campsite is the only place between the Royal Gorge and Lake Pueblo where you can fish and camp right on the banks of the Arkansas River. Accessible by watercraft only, you cannot drive to it or hike to it—you can only boat to it. There is no public road access to the camp. YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN WATERCRAFT. Access to the campsite requires your own boat. There are no direct roads for you take. You will be our only guests at this private riverfront location—no one else vying for the trout…no one’s boom box disturbing your sleep…no swimmers disturbing the fish. Note: We’re open May through October, and during those months, we might have to close temporarily for safety reasons when river flow-rates exceed 1,300 cfs (cubic feet per second). If we need to close when you have a reservation and you can’t change your date, we will notify you of the closure and refund your money.

We are located on 7 acres of land with the most amazing sunrises to the east and two the west we have Pikes Peak. This is a wonderful place to sit and relax, it is very quiet. At some points durning the month the Milky way is wonderful. We may or may not have our sunflower field as well depending the time of the year. We may also offer different art and craft type of experiences.

We have 120 acres of hiking, biking and 4 wheeling just 30 minutes west of Pueblo. Experience the mountains from the gentle acreage with a beautiful canyon. Lake Pueblo is nearby, and just an hour or so to the Sandia Christos, Canyon City, Royal Gorge, Bishops Castle, Pueblo State Park and Greenhorn Mountain. Much of the campground is fenced providing safety for pets and children while also protecting the campers from wondering wildlife. We provide an outhouse area next to the campsites. We have a barn with kitchen, beds and bath that can be used under negotiations.
