There is world class fishing nearby at the St. John's River and we are right near many beautiful springs - which, if you have never spent time in a natural spring you will absolutely want to check that out! We are a 20 minute drive from the Villages which offers shopping, dining, and activities, as well as 20 minutes to historic Mount Dora which is a beautiful artsy downtown village. We arrived late due to our own scheduling issue and had to leave early the next morning for a medical appointment in The Villages. The communication with Danielle was outstanding with practically immediate response and she was very accommodating with our schedule and needs. She gave us a group of sites to choose from, and we were easily able to get in and setup in the dark due to our late arrival. We didn't see much but what we did see was very well kept and had a lot of nice touches of decor that made the whole place really inviting. We will definitely be back for a visit and will spend more time to check out all that this place has to offer.

Mike and his wife were wonderful hosts. They were kind and hospitable. Their property is right on the water, and very peaceful. They have a lovely shaded area where we were able to enjoy meals and coffee looking out on the water. We were able to kayak out to Monkey Island with our kids and a few other scenic locations. Hunter Springs was only a short car ride away, so we were able to visit there as well. Our stay was relaxing and memorable, we absolutely recommend this spot and would love to go back and visit the many other attractions there.

What stood out most was the warm, respectful, and judgment-free atmosphere — it made for such a positive introduction to this kind of space. I visited with my friend, and we ended up making new friends during my stay, which made it even more special. The pool and hot tub were a highlight, and the whole resort felt cozy and inviting. It strikes a great balance of social and relaxed, and the location near other resorts in the area is a bonus. A wonderful first experience, and we will gladly return.

AMAZING!!! I can't say enough honestly. Our family goes to Orlando a couple times a year and have always stayed at the bigger campgrounds, Fort Wilderness, Margaritaville, etc. This was the most quiet, peaceful place we have ever stayed in Orlando. The people that are there we so nice and polite, and it didn't even seem like we were in the city at all. The site set up is awesome and the hot tub was my kids highlight lol. I will return over and over. The convenience of the location is near perfect to everything. Ginger was superb, and helpful with recommendations nearby as it was my wife's birthday. We can't thank you enough. Bottom line, AMAZING!!!!

This is truly a perfect campsite! Location is amazing with easy access to the river. Alonda is a wonderful host and is quick to respond to any inquiries via the hipcamp app. Every time my family stays at this campsite, it feels like home away from home. We will definitely be back again soon!

I found this place via hip camp, I tried to approach this place is for healing to find the solitude that I need as well as understand myself with others. What I found was residence who are willing to make up rumors and throw non-residents out, I was sleeping in a tent and had no better place to go but the owner would rather take their vacation. Didn't care about what I was going through.

We were ready to plan a return trip before even leaving. Owners and staff are very cordial and genuinely helpful. Beautiful old Florida on the river. The clubhouse is a perfect, cozy spot for the entire family to enjoy when the weather isn’t cooperating. One of our new favorites!
