Mike and his wife were wonderful hosts. They were kind and hospitable. Their property is right on the water, and very peaceful. They have a lovely shaded area where we were able to enjoy meals and coffee looking out on the water. We were able to kayak out to Monkey Island with our kids and a few other scenic locations. Hunter Springs was only a short car ride away, so we were able to visit there as well.
Our stay was relaxing and memorable, we absolutely recommend this spot and would love to go back and visit the many other attractions there.

Awesome camping spot right near the water with all the amenities you need for a lovely get away! Mike and Jenny were very accommodating and respectful of space. Full hook ups. Sweet and safe neighborhood for walks. Sewer line was a little cumbersome based on the angle, but manageable. Used my Starlink; ATT service was spotty.

Love Homosassa! This was perfect for the 4 nights we were there. Very quiet and could walk around feeling safe. It was quite chilly, so didn’t get to kayak or bike, but they were available to use. Love all the restaurants close by. Twice to The Freezer for the shrimp. We would come back.

Mike’s spot on the eastern end of the canal was just perfect for us. We took our kayaks out and saw monkeys, an otter, and a dolphin out in the Homosassa River! Good places to walk the dogs and great seafood nearby. We loved sitting by the canal to catch the sunset. We hardly saw any other people But that may be because it was COLD while we were there in the middle of January. The wind chimes made the vibe super chill. We hope to be back sometime. Note that travel trailers over ~20 ft will fit but your towing vehicle may stick out into the road. There seems to be plenty of space to park your vehicle to the side but check with the host, he is good to communicate. Thanks for a memorable stay!

The site was great, you're at the end of a canal and hookups are right there. Mike has kayaks for you to use. There's plenty of Pub and Grills near by. You need to visit Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park just a short drive away.

I loved that the site is directly on the water and that there are bikes and kayaks available. We kayaked over to Homosassa spring area - very convenient without having to hassle the crowds on land.
