During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings.
All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding.
Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek.
We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres.
We have 1km of creek frontage.
The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them.
It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots.
There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle.
This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower.
Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits).
The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure.
Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation.
The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more.
We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section.
Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Our property is located on the site of the First Kilkivan Township and was home to a gold rush in 1868 where a 73 oz nugget was discovered.
Guests will have access to a portable toilet and fire pit throughout their stay.
Gold is still found in and around the creek with fossicking permitted at an extra daily rate of $25 per person. As this is private property we require that all the QLD Fossicking Act rules and regulations are followed this includes having your own permit which must be supplied before fossicking is permitted. These rules include no machinery or pump operated sluices such as high banking sluices.
Detectors are welcome and some great finds have been found with them including gold and coins from the 1860’s.
Large groups are welcome.
There are many great shaded camping spots along the creek or a large open area of about 50 acres for larger groups. There is also a year round swimming hole fed by a solar bore on the property for anyone wanting to cool down.
Kids under 12 are free but if fossicking must be covered by a permit. Pets are welcome.

The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve.
We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking.
Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome.
The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping.
The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property.
The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic
Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day.
There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Above, birds of prey ride the thermals of the valley looking for their next meal.

We ask that you please take all rubbish with you on departure and leave the area as you found it. All camp sites must be left in the same condition as you found it absolutely no litter of any kind. Messy campers will be reported to Hipcamp. Under no circumstances place any rubbish in any of the rubbish bins along Reeves Road as our neighbours are very unappreciative of this.
All this is just 5 minutes from Imbil and Kandanga where you can find everything you need for a great camping trip.

We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling.

This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here.
No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings.
All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding.
Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek.
We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres.
We have 1km of creek frontage.
The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them.
It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots.
There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle.
This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower.
Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits).
The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure.
Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation.
The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more.
We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section.
Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Our property is located on the site of the First Kilkivan Township and was home to a gold rush in 1868 where a 73 oz nugget was discovered.

Gold is still found in and around the creek with fossicking permitted at an extra daily rate of $25 per person. As this is private property we require that all the QLD Fossicking Act rules and regulations are followed this includes having your own permit which must be supplied before fossicking is permitted. These rules include no machinery or pump operated sluices such as high banking sluices.
Detectors are welcome and some great finds have been found with them including gold and coins from the 1860’s.
Large groups are welcome.
There are many great shaded camping spots along the creek or a large open area of about 50 acres for larger groups. There is also a year round swimming hole fed by a solar bore on the property for anyone wanting to cool down.

The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve.
We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking.
Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome.
The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping.
The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property.
The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic
Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day.
There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Above, birds of prey ride the thermals of the valley looking for their next meal.

All this is just 5 minutes from Imbil and Kandanga where you can find everything you need for a great camping trip.

During the day, sunlight filters through the trees and the land feels alive; by night, the stillness settles in and on clear evenings the Milky Way stretches across the sky in breathtaking detail. Your campsite (Site 1 or Site 2) is thoughtfully positioned near a picnic table and within easy reach of essential amenities, including onsite outdoor toilets for comfort (please see photos). Beautifully designed wooden decks are available for setting up your tents, offering a peaceful and elevated space for a restful night’s sleep. Located in Noosa Hinterland, 20 minutes behind Noosa. The property borders Tewantin National Park, meaning that there is an abundant wildlife that comes and goes everyday.
Set your tent in a grass paddock, and surrounded by trees and the sound of birds, you will immerse yourself in nature.
Noosa Trail number 4 is right at the entrance of our property. Lake MacDonald is a few hundred meters away. Enjoy a brunch in one of Cooroy's several coffee shops, have a stroll in Noosa Botanic Garden (right on Lake MacDonald), or go for a surf in one of Noosa magnificent beaches.

At Maya Nature Park we are about offering less sites and more space so you can enjoy the beauty this property has to offer without feeling crowded.
You can enjoy birdsong breakfasts, stunning sunsets and millions of stars. Your own campfire or join the big fire pit. Once you arrive you will be greeted by your host who will give you
choices of where you would like to set up your camp.
Maya Nature Park has recently built amenities including two hot showers and two toilets for your convenience. We are located on 15-20 minutes from the popular
Eumundi Markets, 40 minutes to Noosa beach and National Park and only
10 minutes from the popular Kenilorth bakery.
Kenilorth also has a convenience store, pub and delicious pizzas as well as the beautiful Mary river. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times to protect our wildlife and cattle.

Quiet campsites in a beautiful coastal rainforest setting. Easy access to sites during our visit when not raining or wet. Nearby creek was quite pretty and the morning songbirds are a delight.

Couldn’t believe how big the camp was! We have such an array of sites to choose from and we were so impressed! We stayed off the back of the storm over Christmas so a lot of the land was quite soft and holding onto the rain water but we found the perfect spot! It was very quiet majority of the time. We loved when the cows stopped by the camp, they’re so friendly and beautiful! The toilets and shower area were kept clean and tidy also!

Firstly Lucas is a wonderful host. We had issues with our new campervan. He was ever so helpful and generous with time and effort. The place is really pretty and the cows are so beautiful. They don’t bother you at all they are just beautiful to see walking around. I was lucky enough to see you calves . A really pretty place and Lucas keeps the place very neat and tidy and clean

We loved our camping experience! We received very clear instructions from the host on how to reach the campsite. The latter is located on a very big land in the forest and off a gravel road. Even though there are several cottages there, every one has their own space and privacy. If you like camping in nature, away from the crowds, this is the place! The sounds of nature at night are intense and the stars and moonlight magical; perfect place to reconnect! Great concept overall and our host Audrey was super friendly, helpful and accommodating! We definitely recommend this place and would return in the future 🙂

We loved camping at Maya nature park. Lucas was a great host! All the campsites we spaced we had the whole lower half to ourselves. Toilet and shower facilities were well maintained and very convenient. We even had a cow visit in the morning. Will definitely stay here again.
