Description

Wake up to wading shorebirds pecking for fish right outside your tent -- this is bayfront living at it’s best. The majority of these 44 “premium” sites afford views of Aransas Bay and come equipped with shaded shelters, grills, picnic tables, and water and electric hookups. Try to avoid sites 16 through 24; they’re actually located across the road from the waterfront, instead of right on the bay.

We enjoyed camping here... although we came in August and it was HOT. Would definitely not recommend tent camping in the dead of Texas summer. :) These sites don't have beach access, although you can visit the beach by driving a short 5-10 minutes. The sites are great and you can feel the breeze off the water which is a nice reprieve from the heat. Rockport is a great town!
