Cristina and Pete were and their farm was the perfect spot for my getaway. Cristina quickly answered my questions and recommended the campsite that would fit my needs best. Pete stopped by and directed me to the hiking trails. The place was easy to find and really well maintained. The outhouse with compost toilet was really clean. (The only reason I didn't give a full thumbs up on the site upkeep was because there were some thorny sticks that I had to clear away for my dog and the firewood was a little gnarly--but it was my first time camping so maybe that is normal and no big deal.) The property is beautiful and my dog and I had a great time exploring and relaxing by the camp fire. Very happy for my first solo (+ dog) camping trip and would definitely recommend. Thank you!!

My stay on site 3 was great. Barely Do Farm is a perfect place for a camping trip ... there is plenty of privacy, but it is also very easy to get a hold of Cristina if you need something. The farm animals are adorable, the land is gorgeous (love the fields of goldenrod), and the composting toilet was one of the tidiest I've ever experienced. There are plenty of hiking trails to check out all within 25-30 minutes of camp at various parks. It was my first time solo camping, and I picked the perfect spot. And definitely add farm fresh eggs to your stay! They're delicious ☺️

Barely Do Farm could not have been a more enjoyable stay. Christina was extremely responsive and helpful, especially seeing as we booked last minute.

The campsite is on a bluff overlooking PA State Game Lands with the town of York off in the distance. Site was clean and had plenty of firewood and room. We stupidly forgot anything to light a fire and Keith quickly brought us up a lighter and kindling, along with two cartons of their fresh egg from their chickens. (Which we had in the morning and were delicious).

I'm trying to think of any negative's/cons and coming up blank. Aside from some brief inclement weather the stay was perfect.

Give the farm and campsites a whirl. You won't be disappointed.

These folks are super friendly and responsive. The site itself is secluded, beautiful, and serene. My only issue was the existence of a tall, dead tree that threatened the entire campsite and made me a bit uneasy as we slept. I couldn’t fully recommend this site unless that tree comes down.

They were so accommodating and kind. It was raining when we arrived and so they offered us Wanda the Wonderbus which was a fabulous experience. They also brought us coffee in the morning and made sure we were super comfortable.
Thanks so much!

Our stay was wonderful. Cristina was there to meet us, the sites were perfect, the outhouse was clean, and the sheep, chickens, and ducks are adorable (particularly the sheep). Highly recommend to anyone with their own tent and associated camping gear.

Nice secluded spots behind a small farm. Pete was very welcoming and helped navigate us up the hill to our spot.
