Upon arrival, Jane contacted me with excellent directions to access the property. She greeted us at the driveway and led us to the most beautiful paddock by the little creek. We were driving a Kluger and towing a Jayco outback which made it easy to manoeuvre through gates and the paddock. The horses that shared the paddock were friendly and the children enjoyed patting and feeding them. The little creek leads to a larger one where you can swim, surrounded by the natural bush and farmland.
It was a very hot day and Jane allowed us to use their swimming pool to cool off, which was lovely! Our little dog enjoyed the space to run around and play, and the property animals were enjoying the company also.
The peaceful site was just what we needed away from any noise and Jane was a very helpful host. We are planning on returning very soon to explore the bush uphill and stay longer.

We had a lovely time at Jilliby Creek.
Jane was very friendly and helpful and welcoming and let us set in a quiet spot within the horse’s enclosure with 2 mares and a 4 month old foal. For us, this was great as we love horses and they came up to investigate and say hello. If you are not familiar with horses I recommend letting Jane know and she can place you somewhere else.
We also chose a very wet weekend to go camping and got completely rained out the one night. Jane was super concerned and came to check on us to
see if we needed help which we appreciated.
The spot is also about 30mins drive to Fraser Beach which has great surf and there are some great hills around for hiking.
All in all a lovely stay!
Beautiful paddock with some friendly horses and just away from the hustle and bustle !
Jane was a great host, made us fell at home. My kids loved the place and the horses
Unfortunately we picked the hottest heatwave weekend to try and camp there. There was no shade or access to creek to cool down from the paddock we were set up in. It was 40 degrees in the shade of our camper trailer awning so we didn’t end up staying the night :(. I think this place would be a great winter camp with a fire, or a nice quiet camp on a cool day to sit and read a book. Very quiet. The host’s daughter and Ian the farm manager were very friendly and welcoming.
