    Point of View Lake Resort is the best Wisconsin glamping experience - it's super cool, luxury CAMPING at its best! POV is more than just a campground, we are a resort with a variety of period-authentic Glamping Tents and Vintage Campers and BYOTent campsites and a ton of super fun amenities (included in your rental rate!). Glamping (glamorous camping) give you the modern comforts you need to really relax and treat yourself and allows you to enjoy the beauty of the great Northwoods (without all the work of traditional camping). Our all-inclusive rates mean that every stay includes full resort access to all our all-inclusive amenities. This includes luxury bedding, hot showers, clean bathrooms, our onsite general store, and stargazing dreams—no extra charge. Enjoy nature without having to pack all of your stuff! The campground boasts a new air-conditioned restroom trailer with 4 private bathrooms with sinks, hot showers, and toilets. We deep clean it twice daily. NO SURPRISE FEES--JUST GOOD TIMES. | Stay in our historic 2-person 1949 Jim Dandy Vintage Camper & 4-person 1940s luxury tent (a calming dark inside for folks who like to sleep in). So 2 units on 1 campsite! Basic electricity for charging low-powered devices. Stunning Northwoods view & short walk to easy lake access w/sandy beach. On site hiking trails, paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, game room, general store and stargazing. Boat rental and romance packages available. No pets or hookups. This camper is outfitted with one camper full-sized futon bed and also has a food prep area (no appliances/water). The campsite also has a vintage 1940s luxury tent with a full-size bed with a memory foam mattress and upscale bedding and two cots w/mattresses and luxury bedding. It also has charming 1940s camping decor. While it the camper is snug on the inside, we feel its authentic character of the early American camping era more than outweighs the smaller interior. This camper also provides basic electricity for charging wall lights, phones, laptops, fans, COPD machines, and other low-powered appliances, etc. A space heater is also provided (heaters provided in units – bring your own 1 lb propane canisters or buy them in our store – 1 canister should get you through overnight). There is parking for one vehicle with overflow parking available at the bathhouse. Outdoors is home to a charcoal grill, a hammock, edison lights, a picnic table, and a firepit. For bathroom needs guests use the bathhouse. A common gas grill station (tanks provided) is located in the campground). POV has wood swings and hammocks throughout the resort as well.

    We had a wonderful time at the camp. The beach was beautiful and kayaking was so much fun. We saw 2 bald eagles! We enjoyed the club house with free WiFi, games and coffee. The bathrooms and showers were regularly cleaned and are in good running order. Staff/owners were available if needed and very friendly. We are planning to come back with family as there was so many free and fun activities for all ages.

    POV Lake Resort - Tent Campsite 9
    Everything was amazing. We were a lot closer to other campsites than I realized but that is on me not realizing. Everything was as described in booking. We traveled with several kids a few of which have special needs so I was a little stressed about bothering neighboring campers. Something I wasn’t anticipating going in. Upkeep was great, all facilities were great. Only negative was not being warned about ‘swimmers itch’ before booking or during the booking process. After we got to the campground we got the warning about ‘swimmers itch’ which is related to bacteria in the water. 😳🥴 We followed all the precautions and no one in our group had a bad experience related to it. All in all we had a great time and would definitely return and will tell all our friends about our awesome experience. Kids loved the kayaks, we loved local hikes and the beautiful area, and it was super awesome having the bathrooms, showers, and the little store with ice onsite.

    beautiful campsite. However we were not private at all. campsite next to us had 3+ families with kids and it felt like we were sharing space.

    Great and conveniently located campgrounds! Our hosts were very accessible, communicative and helpful. Quiet hours begin at 10pm, so it's ideal for a small group that is going to bed early (like we were!) but maybe not so much for a group that wants to get rowdy. The campsites are all close together and noise travels.

    Coady’s POV Resort had everything we were looking for in a first camping trip for our kids, ages 4 & 7. We stayed in a luxury tent and appreciated the covered porch area since it was raining when we checked in. We enjoyed walking out to the lookout point, canoeing around the island and playing on the beach. The general store had everything we needed, including bait for fishing, ice, and wood. We were grateful for the bath house- it was clean and modern.
