RV5 supports back-in parking for up to a 30-foot RV, additional vehicle parking, and nearby overflow parking parallel to the road. Experience the shade and beauty of the forested area, with the river just across the narrow dead-end road. Close to the river beach area and other designated river access points, RV8 is a gateway to islands, rapids, and swim holes.     The setting was beautiful. The ferns and green trees surrounding the river and the campsite were gorgeous. We enjoyed walking to the beach and exploring the walking bridge across the river. The waterfall was abundant and overflowing due to the recent spring rains. Vincent was very welcoming and helpful when we asked for help backing into the RV4 campsite with a tree and the electrical box framing the site. Unfortunately, there is one main of reason why we will not visit this campground again. Luckily as we were arriving, we did not pass any other vehicles on the windy narrow road. The very narrow road into the campground proved to be a bit dangerous on our way out with our travel trailer as we approached another large truck with 3 cars behind it. Luckily there was minimal damage to the other truck and our rig. No one was hurt but it was very scary. Other reviewers used the words ā€œsketchyā€ and ā€œnarrowā€ to describe the road. I would advise future travelers to use caution before deciding on this campground.

    It was our maiden voyage in our new travel trailer. We wanted to pick a camp close to home and had never been down to Brooklyn Heights. We were very pleased! The sites are beautiful and wooded. The trip from Parsons to the camp was challenging but definitely doable (our camper is 18 feet). We are going to come back later this summer to check out the great swimming hole!

    Vincent was very welcoming and we could tell he puts a lot of thought into the campground and the visitor's stay. Can't wait to see what he has in store for the future. As for site B3, it offers a fair amount of privacy and room. We were able to set up a tent and canopy, with plenty of room to reconfigure once we realized rain was coming. No picnic table and some spots are at an angle, so plan accordingly. Plenty of firewood to pick up in the surrounding woods. We will be reserving site B3 for our next visit!

    Beautiful quiet campground
    CB4 - The Rosendorff Cabin
    My second stay at Brooklyn. Heights. It was rainy so I chose a cabin but there are some nice tent spots on the river. Super clean portapottis and Vincent is around to answer questions or take care of any problems. I particularly like that campers are expected to keep music confined to their campsite, so it's always pretty quiet.

    Great campground along a beautiful river. Quiet and clean. The owner has went to great lengths to preserve trees that provide shade and a buffer between sites. I've stayed at this campground multiple times and will definitely be back.

    We really enjoyed our time with Vince at Brooklyn heights. Campsite was nice and secluded with plenty of shade and trees to hang a tarp. The site had a firepit and they had firewood for sale, but we opted to just use our solo stove and wood chips we brought from home. There is no picnic table so remember to bring a folding table. The toilets are just porta-potties, but they were kept very clean. There was a sink for washing dishes which was convenient. Overall we really enjoyed our time with Vince and the other camp hosts and hope to be back soon :)

    My husband and I stayed at Brooklyn Heights for the second time, and it was just as amazing as we rememberedā€”if not better! We went on a beautiful hike with stunning views, spent a relaxing afternoon playing on the beach by the river, and met some awesome, friendly people during our stay. The cabin was cozy and comfortableā€”such a peaceful place to unwind after a day of exploring. Brooklyn Heights has definitely become one of our favorite spots, and weā€™re already looking forward to our next visit!

    Great campsite and a ton of options depending on what you're looking for. If you have kids, you can't ask for more, as the campsite sit on both an easy to bike road and a placid part of the Dry Fork of the Cheat River to play in -- would be great for inner tubes when it's warm. The campsite was very quiet and tidy and they even had a coffee station, which was very appreciated. I will definitely be back! Vince is also a very welcoming host and checked in a couple times, which is always great.

    Love this campground. Vincent was really helpful, upgraded me to a cabin when weather looked rough. Really beautiful area, right on the river. There is a nice communal sitting area and a communal fire pit. Lots of different types of sites, something for everyone.

    Brooklyn Heights Campground is a fantastic place to stay! The campground is well-maintained and very clean, making for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The host was amazingā€”friendly, welcoming, and attentive to guestsā€™ needs. One thing to note is that it can get quite windy, so be prepared if youā€™re tent camping or setting up an awning. That said, the price was very fair for the quality of the facilities and hospitality. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing getaway!

    The campground is nicely situated in a valley away from public eye. We were the only ones staying at the primitive tent site for two nights. The campsites are nicely nestled within tall trees that provide plenty of wood for the fire. The campground does offer firewood for a great price. Unfortunately we had brought our own wood, but there was also plenty of wood to forage for and we ended up leaving a nice pile for the next camper. Watch for small branchs and twigs falling. The wildlife viewing was pretty awesome and the night sky was great for stargazing. Dont forget to bring a hammok for your site. Highly recommend this location. PS, very clean toilet!!!!

    Cute little campground, well maintained. Only complaints were the campsite road is a little rough for walking, with large rocks. It would be nice to have 2 port a johns together, so a couple could go at once. My husband has a recent brain injury, so I waited on him to go, got him settled in the van and went back to use the restroom myself. If there were two, I would not have needed to do that. The owner says he hopes to install showers next year, so hopefully that also means more permanent bathroom facilities. I also felt a little uncomfortable with all the smile you're on camera signs. Cameras around the self serve firewood seems reasonable, but there were also signs at the camp site, so I felt like our every move could be being watched. I'm sure it's a fun place when the weather is warm, (we were there as a stop over on a trip on a cool, rainy, November night, just needing a site to plug in), and the owner is very friendly, and excited to talk up the local restaurants but they weren't on our limited time frame itinerary, so we weren't able to to explore. The road in is narrow, but paved, and has nice river views and rock features.

    Vince cares about his campground and those whocshare the space. Be amenities are coming in 2025, including a dump station. The drive in was beautiful but would have been an issue with someone driving out. Road was narrow but had pulloffs. We would go again.

    This site was perfect! I would definitely give this owner of the property and the property five stars. Vince was very attentive to customer needs the place was very organized easy to find well marked and had beautiful quarters super clean and the fire pits were the best Iā€™ve been anywhere. There was plenty of wood and customer service is above par.
