Site 1 - River RV Site
This place is amazing!!
We can not wait to go back! The views were amazing, the river was perfect for our kids. The camping spot had a nice big fire pit and it was easy to park our little trailer. The neighbors were super nice and invited us to watch their fireworks show. The hosts were so nice and came to check on us when we arrived and before we left. This would be a perfect place for a multi family camping trip. Full hook ups for one sight and water and electrical for the other. We were also able to let our dog roam around near the river instead of him just being tied up the whole time. He is a good dog so that helped 😊 We are already planning to go there at least once a year!

Site 1 - River RV Site
The site was really enjoyable, green, in the trees, and right next to the river. Other guests arrived on our last night there, however, and we were surprised, as it is not really a big enough space to have two groups. We decided to head home early and give them the spot. Host should really consider only renting the location as a single spot. The neighbors seemed unhappy with the camping arrangement as well, and made it clear we were not to use their ramp to the river. This means a bit of a scramble over fallen logs to get to the waterside. Otherwise, the full hookups were great and it felt very private (unless other campers are there).

River RV Site
I hate leaving a negative review and it was not a completely horrible experience. First off HipCamp only provide the street, City, and zip code for the location. Upon asking if we needed a house number before leaving, we were given the ambiguous directions of, “go to the address, turn left at the rhododendrons, and go towards the river.” You can’t see the river from the drive. There’s more than one place with rhododendrons, look for the drive on the left that has a row of the them. We arrive at the metal gate, that’s locked. Spend over an hour waiting for a response from Charles, we can’t reach his phone, no response on the app. A neighbor pulls up behind us and has no idea that the property is being rented out but is kind enough to try reaching Charles himself to no avail, and finally cuts off the lock for us. The pictures must be taken from the roof of the rundown house that truly looks like property you wouldn’t want to trespass on but it’s private. There’s full hookups. There’s no easy access to the Riverunless you cross onto another neighbor’s property, who again have no idea the property is being rented and there’s not really any way to tell that you’re going onto someone else’s land. All the neighbors are lovely folks and it was from them that we found out the owners were not even in the state. To some extent I can take part of the blame. I didn’t confirm so if you’re going here, do that. Do not expect big easy open access to the river or complete seclusion.

River RV Site
Nice peaceful spot! We loved taking our chairs to the edge and watch the river during the day and have a relaxing camp fire at night. Wood is available for purchase but we brought our own. cows would visit and were fun to watch. If I was a little younger and braver I would have tried to climb down into the river. Hosts were so friendly and we look forward to staying again.

Great private spot
Peaceful and quiet, right on the river. We had an amazing time and will be back soon. Charles and Marge were very attentive to any needs we had. Great hidden gem
