We enjoyed our stay at Tenting in the cedars. Teresa greeted us when we arrived and gave us an explanation of the amenities on site. As a group of early risers, we weren't bothered by the responding roosters' song in the morning, but is something to be aware of if you're hoping to sleep in. Overall, had a nice stay!
Great central location between Crescent lake and bay. Sites away from house are more private but you are in a rural neighborhood with roosters, dogs, and quad riding neighbor kids. Teresa was a welcoming host.
We had a great time at Tenting in the cedars. There were 5 families in our group and Teresa was so helpful in making sure we had the right sites and that we could all be together. The sites are big and the water and port-a-potties are centrally located. The best part was the location. There was so much to see right around the corner. The adults and children all had fun and made great memories!
It was great to find Tenting in the Cedars while planning a last minute camping trip for our group. It worked well for us. The gates were a bit frustrating to get our vehicles thru each day without getting them scratched... but overall the host communicated well and the location was perfect for our day trip to hurricane Ridge, evening at Salt Water Beach park, spruce railroad trail and a day at Dungeness wildlife refuge. Thank you for hosting us Teresa!
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone that likes privacy when they camp

I'm sorry you were expecting more privacy. I doubled checked my description of the property making sure that it said it was a field for sites 5-15. I have since added 2 more sites more in the trees hopefully this will help. Thanks for bringing this to my attention
We had a great time, wonderful location, clean bathrooms.

thanks for staying happy you enjoyed yourself
As promised. The beach; the lake and everything else right here. Campsites are very spacious. Toilets and water clean. Communal area looks great and fun (we didn’t use it tho). Host was friendly and communicative.with clear instructions. Lots of emphasis on keeping your pet on a leash (must be due to the loud dogs at the other side of the fence). Parking on your campsite could be tricky but doable if unsure park by the house.

Confused by the thumbs down review? What can i do to make it better?
I really loved staying here. It is close to the major attractions and Port Angeles but still nestled into a quiet space. It is off a larger road but traffic is so intermittent there, it was not an issue with noise or anything. The campsite was large and open. There is a simple sink area and clean porta potties. Teresa was communicative and responsive. I would stay here again!

So happy you enjoyed yourself hope to see you again
