Our private Campground is centrally located on the Olympic Peninsula.
We are a Campground, we are not a Hip Camp, we just advertise through them. Paying for extra days or rentals, wood, propane fire-pits, are done at pay station at Campground or by calling the office.
We have 21 tent sites on the West side of Pavel Road close to the river. 13 are river view sites. We have 15 tent sites and most are bigger tent sites, ones that are big enough for a RV on the East side of Pavel Road, Use our website dawleysrivercamping.com for details.
We have beautiful woods with trees, ferns, moss, and the Sol Duc River runs adjacent to our property. Beautiful views of the Sol Duc River from some of the sites and a short walk to the right of the parking lot to the Fish Hatchery, stay to the right there will be a boat launch and beach to fish and play.
Just a 20-minute drive to the Pacific Ocean and a 20-minute drive to the straits of Juan de Fuca.
Just a one-hour drive from our site to Cape Flattery, short hike down to a rocky viewpoint overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Tatoosh Island, which is the farthest NW Point in the Continental US!
We have sites with beautiful river views, 9 walk-in sites, and 12 drive-up sites. 4 of the walk-in sites are river views 4, 5, 6 and 8. The drive-in sites with river views are 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 20, and 21.
There are more sites on the other part of the Campground.
The Fish Hatchery is right next door and has a boat launch, beach, and lots of fishing.
The river at the Hatchery is great to float on, fish, and just play.

🏕Our Camp is situated on about 5 acres of Dense Enormous Evergreen Forest in the Olympic temperate rain forest region. It is next to the road on Highway 101 but still offers our guests the wilderness experience and Semi-Privacy with tall trees surrounding the camp. We recommend that our guests use GPS to find Forks, WA, First. Once you find Forks, you will be able to find our camp.
Helpful Hints: If you are traveling from the South side of town: We are only a Half Mile from the Northbound Edge of town on the Right. If you are traveling from the North side: Watch for milepost number 193, you are very close. Our camp will be on the left.

As well as the as the serenity of no sounds of traffic, anywhere.. Creeks on either side of property Feilding .Neilson. Gold panning. Rock hunting; including fossils agates. indigenous bird's such as eagles, hawks, ospreys, kingfishers, ducks, geese, marine bird's, ect. Deer and Elk frequent the area. Watch Thursday and Friday nite as cruise ships light up the straights inbound to seattle. Excellent low tide beach as it drops to almost a 16th of a mile from shore.. **Please note as this property is on a hillside, the road is steep but easily doable. Given the lands natural terrain, guests should be comfortable with uneven surfaces, hills, stairs, etc. There is a rope to assist you on the last few steps to the beach**

🏕Our Camp is situated on about 5 acres of Dense Enormous Evergreen Forest in the Olympic temperate rain forest region. It is next to the road on Highway 101 but still offers our guests the wilderness experience and Semi-Privacy with tall trees surrounding the camp. We recommend that our guests use GPS to find Forks, WA, First. Once you find Forks, you will be able to find our camp.
Helpful Hints: If you are traveling from the South side of town: We are only a Half Mile from the Northbound Edge of town on the Right. If you are traveling from the North side: Watch for milepost number 193, you are very close. Our camp will be on the left.

We require guests to arrive at our camp with an empty black waste water holding tank. Some Rest Areas along the I-5 freeway have free dump stations. We encourage travelers to Google for more options.
🚻There are 5 restroom pods that stay open for our guests to use 24/7. Hot Showers: $5.00 per guest, in 3 of the restrooms between the hours: 7am-7pm Summer. 8am-6pm after summer.

As well as the as the serenity of no sounds of traffic, anywhere.. Creeks on either side of property Feilding .Neilson. Gold panning. Rock hunting; including fossils agates. indigenous bird's such as eagles, hawks, ospreys, kingfishers, ducks, geese, marine bird's, ect. Deer and Elk frequent the area. Watch Thursday and Friday nite as cruise ships light up the straights inbound to seattle. Excellent low tide beach as it drops to almost a 16th of a mile from shore.. Perfect location for an Olympic rainforest adventure. Host was very responsive and accommodating.
The river sites are worth the extra money, the view is awesome. Sani Can was super clean.
The sites are close together so not too much privacy if it’s peak season, but we were there in December and had the place to ourselves.

Very peaceful and nice location to Crescent Beach and a variety of recreation . Janelle was very helpful and made sure I was settled in ok. Both the options for camping are great and there is space and nature surrounding. Flynn the resident dog visited respectfully and we took a walk at dusk. It was nice to know he was around being so shepherdly sweet and friendly. I’ll be back.

I have stayed at this HipCamp in the past and liked it so much I decided to come back. The sites themselves offer the basics: table, chairs, fire pit, tent spot. But the best parts of this campground are the outdoor kitchens, outdoor game area, and all of the wooden gnomes to find. I would come back here for another stay!

Olympic Adventure Camp is an excellent choice for campers in Forks. The camp site is clean and was very quite, even for being close to the highway. It was close to town, and close to tons of sightseeing and adventures. Check in was super easy, camp host was responsive when we called to check in. The full hook up sites were also very private and we were not right on top of our neighbors. We will definitely be returning guests.

A pretty campsite in a great location. All utilities worked as expected; electrical, sewer, water. Quiet and private enough for us. (For reference that means we did not use our shades on our extensive trailer windows nor was sound ever an issue.) Particulary when compared to a standard campground or even worse, a standard RV park. We would love to return.

Really cool space. I stayed in camp 0. While folks with mobility issues may struggle a bit with being up hill, I didn't find it to be an issue at all and the cheaper price meant I could stay longer. That being said, all the sites looked great. The kitchen was so nice for breakfast and to cook up the mushrooms I foraged nearby. Eventually the shower curtain will need to be changed but that hot shower in a cold night was amazing. Super close to so many things. I'll definitely be coming back.
