There are open fields and some rough hiking trails (wear good shoes!) Small stream runs through the property and there are wild turkeys, deer and other wildlife about. This is a rustic site with picnic table, fire ring and chemical toilet. Pretty and peaceful. Learn more about this land: You can enjoy glamping in our greenhouse-tent for peace and tranquility. There is a cabin built inside the tent.  It is under a canopy of trees with a cool pond breeze prevailing. The bed and linens are first rate for a very comfortable stay. There are shelves, potable water and a table within. It is heated in the cool temps and fan cooled in the warmer days.  There is a kayak and paddleboard available to borrow. There is a dryflush toilet, hand sink and outdoor heated shower in the back of the tent. Cooking is on charcoal grill and toaster oven. There are dishes, cups and utensils for your use. as well as coffee press and hot water boiler. The 40 acre pond is 65 feet deep. It is a kettle pond which is spring fed with no river inlets to pollute it.  Access is a little tricky with 100 yard hike from the parking area down a steep slope.  The pond is stocked with bass and trout for great fishing. The birds are amazing.  Henry David Thoreau wrote about White Pond in his book, Walden as the "emerald eyes of the world."  This is a place that magic happens.

When we first purchased our property, we were made aware of a young fella needing a spot to set up his yurt. He lived with us for two years before moving along. We had enjoyed having him and his yurt on our land so when he left, It left a virtual and metaphorical hole. A couple years later we had an opportunity to purchase a yurt from an outdoor adventure company and so it began. We improved upon our tenant's idea by adding a proper outhouse and outdoor shower area. The space offered us a quiet haven during hectic times and now we are ready to share that opportunity. Our yurt sits on a quiet and private nook on our 7 acre property. We are right in between Kennebunk and Biddeford so there are quite a number of areas to explore if you make us your home base. It is a lovely 6 mile ride to Goose Rocks Beach or you can spend an afternoon walking around Dock's Square in Kennebunkport. Biddeford is a rapidly rebuilding mill town that has made several high profile food and travel publications for its great dining spots. If you are visiting to get away from the city, we are less than a mile away from the Eastern Trail which connects South Portland to Kittery, ME. Bring a bike or plan a quiet walk. This trip was a wonderful experience. The wood stove kept things nice and warm on the chilly nights. The views in the morning were beautiful and Judy was a great host! I would recommend packing light because the walk down is a little steep, the wheel barrel was Great for that.

We loved the dancing lawn the minute we checked in! An outdoor shower with hot water is absolutely amazing for camping 🏕 we had relaxing nights by the fire after long days full of activities. I'd definitely recommend especially for girls getaway. We felt safe since it was closer to the houses nearby but private enough to feel secluded from the hosts and neighbors

2 nights at Pine Brook Retreat

I absolutely loved this campsite! The cabin was cute and cozy, and the nearby brook was so pleasant to listen to and watch flow. I even took a dip in it to clean up a bit! The campsite itself is in the trees and shaded so the 85 degree days felt more like 75 degree days at the camp, which was much better for my dog who overheats. Everything was clean. Plenty of drinking water was provided. The toilet nearby was great. I loved the swing. The king size air mattress provided was perfect for me and my dog to cuddle up at night. April was a very thoughtful host and made sure I settled in okay and asked if I needed anything. 10/10 would recommend! I hope to come back soon!

Such a beautiful and quiet little spot to get away! Easy access to both Ogunquit and Wells. Everything was so clean and clear instructions on how to use everything the camper had to offer. Would recommend!!

1 night at SnugLife Camping

Beautiful spot to camp along the river during winter! We were there on New Year's Day 2026 for an overnight under the almost-full-moon, and our last-minute booking was gratefully accommodated. We hauled our camping gear to the site a quarter of a mile downhill in backpacks and a sled we brought, plus another sled that was provided. We used the not-so-air-tight nor squirrel-free spacious Tent on the Platform with the wood stove that I fed throughout the night in the 9°F windy weather. I recommend bringing individual Sleeping Pads to insulate over the air mattresses and under your own high-pile sleeping bag. Our group had also brought a tent to experience real winter camping and it was nice to have the glamping set up just in case. The stove did smoke at first as they do that, but once it was going it was great. I set my alarm clock for every hour to check it. The outdoor kitchen and fire pit was used to heat water for our meals, warm drinks, clean up, and to fill water bottles for warmth inside sleeping bags. During cold months and summer nights, bring enough fire starting materials to get things going multiple times in the cold and maybe wet conditions. The toilet situation was sufficient (carry-out) and the river's cascading riffles were heard throughout the night. It was a magical place to be in nature during winter surrounded by snow and ice! I highly recommend a visit here any time of year in one of the tents provided or at a regular tent site, all along the river.

We had the best time at Lisa's cabin. The cabin was super comfortable and accomodating. It had a everything we need for our stay, from plenty of kitchen supplies to extra blankets. The outhouse was also very clean and just a short walk from the cabin. We also enjoyed the walk down to the river. This spot really has it all. We will be back!

Perfect peaceful spot to relax and shut down. We didn't really need anything but we knew April was there if we did. There are a lot of little things April leaves in the cabin in case you forget anything which is appreciated. It is decorated so cute with little lights inside which I appreciated at night. The spot is gorgeous with the sound and sights of a brook and trees. What more could you ask for? Sitting by the fire watching the moon rise and sipping coffee with the sun rise was so enjoyable. We didn't bring our dogs but will in the future. A great spot for them. You are in nature and have total peace but with the security of knowing April is right there if needed and hiking and stores are close by if you need them. Highly recommend this spot.

1 night at Inn On The Horse Farm

I absolutely loved this country setting and historic 1800’s cottage. It’s basically a whole house to yourself. You will want for nothing. Just bring yourself, clothes & food. There are pots, pans, dishes, utensils and everything you need for a relaxing stay. I sat in the kitchen most of the time, to watch the beautiful horse right outside the sliding glass door. Moonfield I believe his name is. I walked around the property and took in all the charm of this place. It’s decorated appropriately and suits this cottage perfectly. The queen bed was the most comfortable sleep Ive had in a long time. Joan responded to any questions I had with lighting speed. This was the perfect getaway and I can’t wait to book again in the future.
