Our property is located in Morriston, just off 41 in a quiet residential neighborhood with wide, well paved and maintained roads. Acreage is not fully fenced so drive up into the yard as you see fit while respecting these priceless old oaks. At this time we have potable water via a well system on site at 3 locations throughout the property but no electric or sewer is available yet. If you are planning to run a generator it must be turned off during quiet hours (11pm-7am) unless it is quiet enough not to disturb the neighbors. The site is located 150 ft from the dock on our private residential property at the head of the springs, the dock is not visible from the site you do have to walk down to the dock area. Our property is located in Morriston, just off 41 in a quiet residential neighborhood with wide, well paved and maintained roads. Acreage is not fully fenced so drive up into the yard as you see fit while respecting these priceless old oaks. At this time we have potable water via a well system on site at 3 locations throughout the property but no electric or sewer is available yet. If you are planning to run a generator it must be turned off during quiet hours (11pm-7am) unless it is quiet enough not to disturb the neighbors. The ranch is amazing Mr Mike and rob are amazing yes there are horses and donkey that came onto the site or location which after a little while did get frustrating but is okay and kinda interested at first. We stayed at the ranch for a month during our displacement from our home and the people who run the ranch and everything that went on was amazing. They have showers and bathroom to be able to do necessary things. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Great great host very accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay there. He and his family made me feel like part of their family and their property. Anytime I needed anything. He was always there to help out and make helpful suggestions. We really enjoyed feeding his animals and thanked him for saving them. He runs a rescue for animals that are unwanted. He allowed us to feed his animals.
I’d also like to mention his wife Carla, who is also awesome and if you or your significant other is in need of a great manicure or pedicure, she was able to do that for us during our stay we thoroughly enjoyed that part of our stay. Getting your feet pampered is always a bonus during camping.

My husband and I being beginner campers had a fantastic time camping at happy campers rescue ranch! It was a very well maintained camp ground that was super laid back and allowed for us to really make the camp site our own for the night. I highly recommend the forest nook site for a more private woodland camping experience!

We were ready to plan a return trip before even leaving. Owners and staff are very cordial and genuinely helpful. Beautiful old Florida on the river. The clubhouse is a perfect, cozy spot for the entire family to enjoy when the weather isn’t cooperating. One of our new favorites!

Five stars for End of the Rainbow Resort! It really is a piece of paradise. My friends and I had the best time, largely thanks to Donald. Homosassa Springs RV site is a nice quiet place to spend a night. Even though it is just off of a road it was pretty quiet overnight and had well positioned landscape that gave it the feeling of privacy. A great place to spend the night if you are in the area.

We have been their twice in the last six months with a several other families and enjoyed our time there both times. Rob and Mike are very friendly and respond promptly to questions or issues. The bathroom/outdoor kitchen area are cleaned at least once per day and always stocked with needed items. Showers are nice and always hot. One thing to be aware of is there are horses and donkeys that roam free on the property and will occasionally show up at your campsite, usually around meal time. That can be a bit of an annoyance, but spend a few minutes guiding them away and they usually will take the hint.

Otters!!!
The water is crystal clear! And there are otters!!! And so many cool fish, turtles, alligators, birds and plants. Plus, the cypress trees will steal your heart.

Omg it was so good. All my friends from Orlando and Gainesville met us there. Definitely plan to reserve a cabana if they have them available.

It gets full around the winter holidays, so book in advance! They have great kayaking gear and a nice 2 mile row to the head springs.

If you're headed to Rainbow Springs you are in for some of Florida's finest outdoors. Bring a picnic and hang out at the public swimming area, or if you're the more adventurous type we definitely recommend renting a canoe or kayak and exploring the river!

This water is so spectacularly clear it is not to be believed. Delicious swimming. It is also possible to rent canoes and paddle down a river of this blue loveliness.
