Located about 10-15 minutes from Mayfield Lake. 20 minutes from Mossyrock. There are several nearby logging roads for exploring. This site is very quiet except for a few cars that drive by each day. There is a picnic table and fire pit with grill (except during burn bans, usually July-September). There is also some firewood available for use. Site has full hookups: 50 amp (240v) electrical service (adapter available to 30 amp, 120v), sewer, and water (not tested for drinking).

The camping area is nowhere near the animals or the rescue. But it does help support them! Our 45 acre parcel is "no frills camping" 15 minutes from Interstate 5. We are one hour from Mt Rainer and one hour and fifteen minutes from Mt Saint Helens. The camping area is an old christmas tree farm. We maintain two spots for camping. We have one porta-potty shared between campsites. Each campsite has one picnic table, fire-ring and access to a porta-potty. The area is quiet and secluded. Black-tailed Columbian deer are regular visitors, while the barn owls will serenade you in the evening. You will be able to see ALL the stars!  The road is suitable for small RVs, campervans, truck camping, small school buses, and cars (as long as the cars have some ground clearance). Not suitable for Class A RVs. It is an old logging road made of compacted rock. Cell service is OK. Upload/download speeds might be slow.

This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. NO TENTS, please. Also we have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 12 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs through the check-in entry-way. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site (dumpster) available Memorial Day to Labor Day. We look forward to hosting you!

Birdsong comes early here, and crickets and frogs light up the evenings. There aren't any city lights, so stargazing is a real delight. Centrally located and with 10 acres of field, forest, and farm, there is something of interest for everyone. In camp, you will find a rustic kitchen with three picnic tables, and a fire pit with accessories. There is a sink for your convenience so remember to bring water containers for hand and dish washing. The resource area for campers is at the second gate and has an electrical outlet, a water hose, and a wagon for transporting items to camp. We have several items for sale, including nice firewood bundles, farm-fresh eggs, and snacks for hand-feeding the farm animals. Lawn games (volleyball, badmintton, bocci ball), hammocks, a parachute, etc. are available for rent. We had a very relaxing and lovely time! We travel in a 30ft class C. We fit perfectly. We also travel with a medium size dog. There is an old logging road right across the street perfect for walks. There are areas on site that are perfect for middle of the night when puppy has to go. Yes, the owners are on site, but other than the initial greeting we didn't see them. We were relaxed. There was enough room to park our extra vehicle and set out chairs. We work remotely, so while our phones were fine, we did struggle to get strong enough service to work. But if you are not working, it is perfect. It was a wonderful spot and we will be back. Oh, Starlink worked great.

Absolutely beautiful views, privacy and safety, and welcoming hosts who will take care of anything you need quickly and kindly make this site super special! Enjoyed my stay so much I extended it! Lots of wildlife and great walks. Extra amenities like the bathroom, kitchenette and laundry really were a huge bonus and added extra comfort to RV life! Giant park down the road, but the entire yard is fenced to allow doggy romping! My pup was in heaven. And there is also an adorable Airbnb room in the house if you have friends with you! Very cute town in the country full of friendly neighbors! A must visit!

I travel for a living and this has to be my number one spot. It’s a safe location and the views are breathtaking. Nelda is absolutely amazing host and I would recommend this to anyone. I had a grill to cook on, power for the cold nights and plenty of room to roam and hike. 10/10!!

Absolutely loved our stay on Nelda’s land. It was perfect for what we needed, we needed a place to park our van for a few days with a power hookup. Nelda’s property has beautiful trails in the back that we enjoyed walking our dog on. Definitely recommend!

If you want to sit in relative quiet with a lovely view, this is a recommended spot. Owner’s communication was outstanding. NOTE: If you have dogs, there isn’t much room to roam due to blackberry bushes and neighboring property owner. NOTE: The neighboring property owner was quiet and kept their dogs fenced, but you’ll need to keep a close eye on your own dogs to ensure that they respect the property boundary. .

Weekend Trip to Misty Meadows Adventures Mt.Rainier

This was our second time staying at Steve and Starla’s campsite! The property is spacious and well kept, also close to the Mt. Rainier park entrance. Although the weather this time was not ideal, our group had a great time during our trip. Thank you to Steve for suggesting site 2 which is a little higher ground and surrounded by trees to keep us a little drier during our stay. The hosts were able to answer any questions we had in a timely manner. Overall I would highly recommend this campsite. Thank you again for hosting us and wish you well in the future!

Weekend Trip to Tony’s Campground

This was our second time to Tony’s campground. This trip was just as great as the first time. It rained majority of the time, but the extra large gazebo was fantastic for staying dry while still being able to enjoy the outdoors. BreAuna and Tony were nice enough to let us use the yurt since the weather was so rough. The yurt is very spacious and the pool table was a ton of fun. The yurt has a fireplace which we did not use, but seemed well-maintained and stocked with firewood. There was also a TV and DVD player with drawers full of DVDs to choose from. The yurt is great for getting out of the weather while still feeling that outdoor vibe. There’s also a full kitchen and bathroom, although we did not utilize either during our trip. Thanks again for another great stay.

Weekend Trip to Green Mountain Lookout

We absolutely love this spot! Very private and great views. It poured rain and was very windy this weekend, but we hunkered down, watched movies and read- it was just what we needed! The only downside was getting into the spot. The directions are not clear that you need to back down into the spot- so when you get to the “driveway” you need to back down and it is a little steep. Unfortunately, even though I had read other reviews, we didn’t realize this point & ended up needing to back up onto the main road in 4wd (and luckily we have an F-350- our previous truck would not have been able to handle this even with 4wd). Make sure you assess before you head to the spot.

Weekend Trip to Cowlitz River Campground

Owen is a super kind and responsive camp host. He was very welcoming and shared some of his knowledge about fishing the river from his years of experience on the water. The campsite itself was extremely clean and probably the cleanest porta potty ive ever seen. Plus its just a hop and skip away from the barrier dam fishing site. Weekend Trip to Isla Springs

We had a group of 10 (including a toddler) and this was absolutely the perfect spot for all of us! Ed's property is beautiful with lovely little nooks of campgrounds tucked away from each other, so people could get as much privacy as they liked or congregate in common spaces. There are a couple of sites with steep ledges, so we steered clear of those, but found lots of space for our toddler to run free, collecting leaves and sticks. The babbling brook running through the property was my favorite part. And each camp site has a cute little woodburning stove and firepit ring. It is clear that Ed loves his property and loves sharing it -- he is a warm and inviting host. It is a magical place and we plan to make this a regular weekend spot for our family during nice weather!

Weekend Trip to Bee Inspired Garden

Kay was out of town while we stayed here but her sister Liz rolled out the red carpet for us! Fresh flowers, warm cookies, firewood, veggies from the garden, and of course the gift of time to show us around the beautiful property! The kids loved feeding the chickens, frolicking in the garden, and tasting the sweet honey from the bees! The site was clean and level and never had bees near us. The views of the mountains and gardens were breathtaking and can be seen right from the site. We brought our telescope and had great views of the full moon, stars, and even several planets. It was very quiet and peaceful. Perfect little weekend getaway. We will definitely be coming back again! Would recommend for sure

The View is beautiful. Compared to a campground it is hands down the better option! The site is at the top of the owners driveway so there is some coming and going but overall was very quiet. You can't beat the views and I bet in the summer with the lake so close it is phenomenal. We would stay again for sure.

Weekend Trip to Tony’s Campground

Tony’s campground is a Hidden gem. Ample space to spread out for the kids to run and play freely. Nice amenities like power and water hook ups and a large gazebo to catch some shade or stay out of the rain. There are a few solar lights spread across the property which provide a relaxing ambience at night. There are some small trails that loop around the property that kept the kids entertained for hours. The site is maybe 10 minutes from downtown Onalaska. The night sky was incredibly clear and we were able to see the rings of Saturn with the telescope before the clouds moved in. Tony and a BreAuna were incredibly kind and checked in to see if there was anything we needed. We will stay here again.

We really enjoyed the privacy and the setting... lots of dust & really appreciating that they are working on that with lots of bark dust.
