Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Enjoy private fancy camping in this light-filled, fully furnished cabin on a platform overlooking a pond, pastures, and the valley beyond. Situated on a working farm just 15 min. southeast of Ithaca, NY, this is perfect for a family or romantic get-away. Unplug, relax, and visit the local trails, wineries, and waterfalls, or just hang out and enjoy the view! We only have the one cabin, so you will have the entire space to yourselves, including the hot water showers, flush toilets, and outdoor kitchen at the nearby bath house. Luxury camping has a greater level of comfort and convenience, but it is still camping. This means the camp area can be affected by extreme weather, insects, heat, and noises in the area (dogs barking, neighbors mowing lawns, etc.) We work hard to ensure the most pleasant stay possible. There are mosquito screens on all windows (and under the cabin decking!), but insects can still find ways to creep in. Rainstorms can be quite loud on the metal roof of the cabin. The bath house is a short walk away down a gravel path, which may feel longer in inclement weather. Keep this in mind when booking as we don't refund for insect issues or undesirable weather conditions during your stay. We provide all linens and towels. You will have private access to a rustic outdoor kitchen in the bath house, a 10-second walk from the tent cabin. The kitchen is stocked with a small fridge, 2-burner stove, dishes and flatware, cutting board and knives, olive oil and salt. We also supply a charcoal grill, charcoal, and a lighter. We provide fresh-ground organic coffee and sugar, a French press, and a drip coffee pot. We also provide a fire ring, kindling, and firewood you can use to have a campfire during your stay. A wide variety of staples (including beverages (24 beers on tap!), sandwiches, and breakfast options) is available at Brookton's Market 2 miles down the road. Other things to note There is no Wifi at the cabin or bath house, and cell service is very spotty and somewhat dependent on your carrier. While there is electric service at the kitchen/bath house for charging phones and other devices, the cabin has no electricity. We provide some basic ambient lights and portable solar lanterns, but you may want to bring headlamps. The parking area is about 50-60 yards from the tent. Sunsets and Sounds
Group trip
Stunning accommodation situated in the picturesque hills of NY. The sunset views are simply to die for and the frogs, sheep, and birds humming along throughout the day and night pull the whole experience together. Erica is a wonderful, communicative, and kind host! I would love to come back again and again!

What a dreamscape of a spot on Erica’s land. If you love the chorus of nature sounds, you will very much enjoy this sweet cabin. The openness of the kitchen space and shower offers gentle breezes and relaxing views as you move about. Ithaca and various falls are just a short scenic drive away. Erica was responsive and made the space welcoming. Last but not least, sweet Niffy the cat kept me company on my solo visit. Stopping by when I returned back to the land and being my sous chef as I cooked. If you invite him, he’ll sit on your lap and nuzzle you forever! 10/10 would recommend giving Niffy your attention.

Perfect Glamping experience
Group trip
This place was everything we had hoped for. Me and a friend were in the area for a training and coming home to an amazing outdoor kitchen where we could cook under the sky and a tent that we could open to the outdoors and huddle under blankets was perfect. Erica was a very kind and gracious host, and the farm store kept us supplied with the best eggs and steak we have had in a long time. Thank you!

A+
What an amazing place! We had a great time visiting Erica's tent cabin this September. The weather got a bit nippy our first night there, but the extra blankets Erica provided meant that we had a warm comfortable bed in the cool night air. The steaming hot shower in the chilled air the next morning was even better. We cooked using the hot plate or the campfire for every meal, and I can tell you the kitchen is a dream for glamping. Very well equipped! We did bring some extra dry firewood for a quicker starting fire the second night. The property was easily accessible off of the main route to Ithaca, and dropping by the town center was a breeze. Everything was comfortable and designed for us to enjoy a quiet weekend enjoying the truly gorgeous view!

A lovely place to unwind…
Group trip
My husband and I spent 3 days enjoying the farm and surrounding area. Erica was a wonderful host and very informative during our farm tour. We left feeling refreshed and with plenty of ideas we want to bring back to our home garden! The view was incredible out over the fields and mountains and we enjoyed watching the “flerd” as they grazed along in a field in front of our spot. It was wonderful to be able to pick up a few things to cook from the farm store and we greatly enjoyed hanging out with the cats who came to visit in the evenings. Everything was so thought out- from a well stocked kitchen to card games in the tent. Our visit could not have been more enjoyable and I would recommend it to anyone looking to relax off the beaten path.
