Sites are grassed hilltops in a rolling paddock that no longer holds cattle. Passing deer (if you're lucky), wallabies and such graze here now as regrowth pushes back.

The campsite is a twenty minute stroll to the nearby 160m tall Ellenborough Waterfall. For those really wanting a workout you can descend the stairs to the bottom and muscle your way back up.

Swimming is possible at waterholes top and bottom. Blue Knob Forest look out is around 30 minutes drive - with 360 degree views it is an amazing spot to go for a picnic.

ALTERNATE ROUTES

Access from the Pacific Highway is either:

(Northerners) exit at Kew and head through Kendall, Lorne Rd, Comboyne, Wingham Rd, Colling Rd.

(Southerners) exit at Taree, Wingham, Comboyne Rd (Killabakh), Wingham Rd, Colling Rd.

Also from Wingham, for a slightly longer yet very scenic drive, one can head North West out through Wherrol Flat, then Big Run, Dingo Tops, Knodingbul Rd, Padmans Rd to Elands. Best part of 2 hours but worth the drive. Canbe logging trucks so nice to have a CB in your vehicle to listen out for them. Handy on all forest roads that one.

Damon was so welcoming and friendly. Gave us tips on where to go and what to do. Beautiful property overlooking the rolling hills and forest. There’s a gorgeous creek running through the property and it’s just magical.

Thank you Emmeli ! Glad your family had a good stay; caught a nice break in the constant rain we've had lately. Safe travels. =)

Great place in some amazing natural Bush land. The water falls are only a short walk away and worth a look at. Damon was very hospitable and lively to deal with.
