We do not allow RVs or trailers on our main farm due to our narrow mountain driveway. Wisteria Camp has a private driveway, it can accommodate small RV/Trailers. Camper vans are welcome at the main farm! Our farm store includes our Animal Welfare Approved products such as Eggs, Chicken, Beef, Pork, Lamb and Dairy, as well as produce, jams, coffee and other items from our local community. We offer camping essentials, local art, bike rentals, farm experiences and tours. The property has miles of trails along mountain spring-fed streams, a small pond and access to three private acres on the Robinson River, a stocked Trout stream, just 2 miles down the road. Our property is centrally located to White Oak Canyon (20 minutes) and Old Rag Mountain (10 minutes) trailheads in the Shenandoah National Park as well as many vineyards and breweries. The property is very secluded, but only 2 hrs from D. C. and Baltimore. The space can accommodate 5 tents comfortably or a few small campers (w/o hookups). Please note- I only book one group at a time. You'll have plenty of privacy! Spend your day bird watching on the river deck, put up your hammock and chill, go hiking or mountain biking at Cacapon State Park, take the kayaks out and paddle around, go fishing, or take a float trip. I can provide info on put in/take out spots depending on how long you'd like to float. I have 3 kayaks available for your use, or BYO if you'd like to venture further outside of the property lines. There is one big fire ring for cooking and/or bonfires, along with a large stationary stand up charcoal camp grill. There is also a small communal shed down at camp that contains extra camping supplies, etc.. feel free to use use and put back and or/ contribute to it! :) This spot is close by to Berkeley Springs, Paw Paw Tunnel, Cacapon State Park, and other nature preserves. More hiking, biking, restaurants, spas, antiquing- all within a beautiful 20 minute drive if you wish to venture out. There is a cabin on the property. I will more often be home than not, I will communicate with you about that around your stay. Sometimes I"ll come down to the river frontage if I drop in for a float .Also, we all get around on four wheelers and UTV's. So you will hear them from time to time. If I am home, please feel free to come up if you have any concerns/questions or to say hi! :) *Please note, you can normally get to this site without a 4 wheel drive vehicle. However, when the river is high it will sometimes flood the low water bridge where it crosses the Cacapon. If this is the case during your stay, I will provide all necessary information regarding projected river levels and directions. I will also offer a full refund if the bridge is impassable. We had a wonderful experience staying at The Lodge at Opequon. The environment was peaceful, family-friendly, and surrounded by beautiful nature. It’s a great spot for families and anyone looking for a calm and refreshing camping experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to friends and others looking for a memorable camping getaway.

We loved our stay! It was nice and secluded. We loved cooking on the campfire grill/tripod. The electric blanket worked great on the cold nights. Pablo and Lorena were quick to respond with any questions or issues. They respected our privacy. We would definitely stay here again.

What a great place to stay! Cots were great with our sleeping bags. Had a lot of space. Adirondack chairs and a very nice fire pit. I would totally book again when I’m back in the Shenandoah area.

Weekend Trip to Camp Kilo

A beautiful mountain escape backing right up to Shenandoah National Park. The setting alone makes this place feel special, and the cabin absolutely lives up to it. The drive in is about 15 minutes along a dirt road with a steeper final stretch, but it’s very manageable and worth it for the privacy. You’re also only about 25 minutes from the Swift Run Gap entrance, making park access easy. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The mountain themed decor made it feel warm and inviting, the cots were surprisingly comfortable, and having dog beds already there was a huge bonus. Our dogs loved it. If the upper tent campsite isn’t booked, which you can reserve as well, you might have the opportunity to hike the half mile trail up to it and take in a gorgeous overlook. It’s about a 30 minute uphill hike with roughly 500 feet of elevation gain and well worth it. We stayed during some on and off rain and still had a great trip. Even without a view at the top, it was still a really enjoyable hike. The nearest grocery store is about 25 minutes away in Stanardsville at the Greene Great Valu, which was convenient for anything we needed. Make sure to check out South River Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfall hikes in Shenandoah National Park. Overall, a peaceful and scenic stay. We would definitely come back!

Was an amazing campsite would 100% recommend. Easy to chat with but would recommend having a car good a taking deep bumps and incline but my Honda civic made it up fine as long as you drive the throttle easy. Owners are great people and made our trip easy

My dog and I enjoyed a lovely early April retreat at the Love House. We had everything we needed for a relaxing and magical stay despite one very cold night. The electric blanket was a welcome amenity! While I did not get the pleasure of meeting Lorena, I did get the chance to chat with Pablo a few times. He is friendly, responsive to needs and had info about the area. It was clear that the comfort of guests is important to him. While they were close by and accessible, the cabin felt private and relaxing. The location is convenient to local recreation opportunities. I bet the nearby river is a treat in the warmer months.

Maybe our favorite vacation in West virgina so far. We were celebrating our daughters 8th bday who passed in 2020 and we were greeted with the most amazing cake. The place was amazing and clean. Large pile of wood for a fire. The outdoor shower was hot and easy to use. A large grill and fire pit for cooking anything we needed. The house had cute decorations everywhere and we noticed more as the trip went on. A short trip to the river that we had to ourselves. Lots of outdoor seating for around the fire or just relaxing. Pablo and Lorena were so incredibly friendly and gave us good recommendations for the area. Very easy to talk to and were very responsive before and after we booked. The kayak trip was perfect. Made us feel like we were at home. Cute art and s'more bag gifts. Nothing bad to say about this place or the hosts.

2 nights at Riverdale Farm- River Glamping

Our weekend to unplug was perfect. There was WiFi so we could play music, then airplane mode. Sitting by the fire both nights with some music and just our conversations was amazing. We visited the butcher shop in the little town of Capon Bridge and bought the best steaks. Hiked a bit up the creek bed and explored a little. And the hot tub at the house was perfect and romantic. Such a great getaway location.

1 night at Watercress Inn at Landon Farm

Loved my little cabin - I was greeted upon arrival by the cutest puppy- the bed in my cabin was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. It was very quiet except for animal sounds which were relaxing. Everything was cozy and perfect. 10/10

Amazing little area of land, spending the night there was wonderful! It was great to escape the city and see the stars in the sky for once! The hosts have done a wonderful job making this a little get away on the mountain and I'd love to come back!
