Come stay on our working farm! Relax and enjoy all that our farm has to offer. You can enjoy nature and privacy or opt for a more interactive experience and join our morning or evening farm tour where you can interact with goats, sheep, mini-horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, and more. We are a small family farm where we raise animals and grow flowers/food. Our family home was built in 1739 and is situated near the street entrance. As you enter the property, you will see two cottages, the oldest corn crib in the county, and a beautifully restored 1800s barn. There is a vintage-style camper to the left of the barn, located in an area where you can have privacy overlooking the pastures. We live on the property and can assist guests with anything that they might need. Guests are welcome to stroll around the property and enjoy all it has to offer. We have a farm store and education center opening summer of 2025! Check our website to see classes and offerings that you might take advantage of during your stay. Please note, that we ask that guests do not enter the barn or fenced pasture without one of the farm owners (Molly & Diego). Our animals are accustomed to people, but livestock is unpredictable, especially to people that they do not know. There is plenty of area outside of the pasture that guests can enjoy. If you opt for a farm tour we promise that you will have plenty of interaction with our many animals.

But don't forget to turn it off after you're finished, as it will stay on unnecessarily. It's also important to know that when you use the toilet, only use toilet paper, as it's specially designed for this type of RV and won't cause blockages. Smoking is prohibited inside this property; if smoke is found, an extra cleaning fee will be charged. This is also an ideal space to relax and work remotely, as it has an independent antenna to provide internet access to the entire unit and all the electronic equipment you need. I will ensure the unit is delivered to you with all its accessories in working order so you won't have any problems. I always suggest guests ask any necessary questions so they can use it without any issues. On the day of arrival, you will receive another message to refresh your knowledge of how to use the campervan. Close to the beach and sand, the city offers activities nearby so you won't have to go far to enjoy them. This campervan has all the qualities of a house, with the only difference being that you're on wheels—something truly delightful. I have two bicycles so you can take a ride along the bike path on the beach and enjoy the majestic scenery. A different way to have fun and experience something new. Our small homestead is located in the Walden, Wallkill area. While this isn't deep-woods camping, we're surrounded by trees on three sides and nestled in a rolling meadow that's often filled with wildflowers. It's a peaceful getaway for groups or families as well as individuals. We have 1) 27’ camper and will have 5 tent sites with an outdoor bathroom coming soon! Our friendly farm animals roam the property, including sheep and chickens. We also have fish in the pond that you can feed, but please don't fish without permission. You're welcome to swim, but please avoid wearing sunscreen, perfumes, or bug sprays that could harm the fish. You might even feel a nibble or two—that's just them saying hello! We're in the heart of the Hudson Valley, close to wineries, breweries, distilleries, restaurants, and hiking trails. The Gunks are only about 20 minutes away. Our campsite is designed to help you relax and escape the crowds. While there are homes nearby, you likely won't see them from the site. A private road leads to your own entrance, secured with a combination lock. We hope you'll enjoy our property as much as we do. Come experience 152 acres of preserved forest in the beautiful Highlands Region of northern New Jersey. Our nonprofit nature center has a rich history and offers events rooted in arts, education, and recreation. We have four rustic cabins with electricity available for overnight stays of 1–7 nights. A mountain stream runs through the property, and there are plenty of casual outdoor seating areas to relax in. There is also a large recreation field and private trails to explore during your stay with us. Our property borders Norvin Green State Forest, which offers miles of hiking trails, including 360-degree views from Wyanokie High Point. The Highlands Natural Pool is also adjacent to our property, featuring a spring-fed, Olympic-sized swimming pool open from Memorial Day through the end of September.

Our family (and pup) absolutely loved staying at Two Herons. The farm was so peaceful and the cottage was well appointed and just perfect for the 2 night stay. When we arrived there was goat yoga happening and we were fortunate enough to cuddle with baby goats! Absolutely incredible stay .. can’t wait to come back!

Weekend Trip to Luxury Camping at 'Higher Ground'

Amazing stay at Evan and Laura’s campsite! My husband and I had a wonderful two-night stay. Evan provided clear directions, responded quickly, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The campsite itself was peaceful, comfortable, and a perfect place to unwind. There is a short hike from the parking area to the tent, so I’d recommend packing light and avoiding heavy items. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend it!

What an incredible getaway this was. Such a beautiful property to unwind and take in nature. We loved the animals. Baby goats make everything better. The camper was cozy and had everything we needed. The hosts, Molly and Diego were so kind and accommodating. From the morning rooster calls until the magic of a hundred fireflies Two Herons Farm is a piece of heaven!

Weekend Trip to Carpathia West

We slept very comfortably in this great little A-frame perched on the hill. There’s a lovely deck to sit and enjoy the view. To have access to the mini fridge, microwave and lights, there’s a generator outside the space. We chose to stay in the quiet so we never ran the generator during our stay. But we came prepared with our own battery powered lights, fan and a cooler. The host was communicative and the grounds caretaker made sure we had everything we needed. The drive to the top is 4WD only, but it’s possible to park down below and hike up the hill.

Weekend Trip to Luxury Camping at 'Higher Ground'

Very nice stay, perfect off grid relaxing overnight. The platform is solid and the bed is comfy. It's camping without having to lug in all your own gear. A short uphill hike with a few natural rock steps brings you past the privy then another 100 feet or so (still uphill) to the campsite. Well maintained with tiki torches and a fire pit. Small kitchen type space and a table round out the accommodations. No complaints.

We had a great time. This is our second visit to your site. The platform tent is very comfortable for adults and the added classic tent gave us enough room for kids. We really appreciate the firepit, dishes, washing supplies, goats/chickens, and toilet/shower! The location in walking distance to Fahnestock is perfect! Good choice for low key outdoor weekend. Our camp host was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Bill was welcoming, helpful, and made the entire experience feel easy and comfortable. The space was perfect, well-kept, organized, and had everything we needed for a great stay. You can tell Bill genuinely cares about creating a great experience for their guests. We had such a peaceful, enjoyable time and would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great camping stay. We will be back!

Had a wonderful stay here! Very peaceful place to stay and saw some wildlife. Very clear instructions and easy to understand rules. Cabins are not far from parking and I was able to load and unload right at the cabin before parking.

Weekend Trip to Hunterbrook Mountain

AMAZING! My husband and I had the best time at this campsite. We only came for a night but we left feeling so rested. We had the best sleep under the stars and the sound of the creek nearby. Stephen sets up the camp with everything you possibly need. Our pup had so much fun exploring and the grounds are kept nice and clean. We can’t wait to return. It’s such an easy drive for us - this might be our new fav spot!

My sisters and I stayed at the camp for the weekend. We all had such a good time. It was restful and relaxing, and Maureen was a great host. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. The outhouse didn't even smell bad, and there were fresh flowers left in it. And in the tent We are already planning our next trip. The horses we're so sweet and we even got to see a gaggle of geese. We saw a million stars and built a campfire for smores. And the accommodations were comfortable. And beautiful. It felt like home away from home. Five out of five stars for this amazing stay.

We had a great stay! The tent setup was absolutely adorable and thoughtfully put together. It was definitely buggy during our visit, but we were grateful that extra bug spray was provided. The restroom facilities were a wonderful addition and were clean and well-maintained. The hill is no joke, but the listing describes it accurately, so we came prepared. One of the highlights was meeting Evan, Laura, and their beautuful goats and chickens. Overall, a unique and enjoyable experience!

Awesome site, lots of privacy! Convenient location with a stop and shop only 5 mins away if you need more supplies, however we still felt like we secluded from civilization when we were at the site. Wood was supplied free of charge. We left a day and a half early due to rain and Tiffany was kind enough to offer us a discounted rate for next time we come. Great host and great camp site!

I loved staying at Cabinita at Camp Luna, I went. horseback riding at Juckas Stables on trails, and made a short drive up to New Paltz, the camper was impecable, very clean and comfy, heat and hot water showers. Going back July 4th weekend for an extended stay plan to fish,kayak, and glider flight at Wurtsboro Airport.

This is a very beautiful campsite that is very accessible and a perfect experience for first time campers or anybody who just wants a relaxing getaway. There is a lovely trail up to the tent site, which is removed from the house and the road just enough to feel like you are out in the wild on your own. The tent itself is very comfortable filled with amenities. It’s like staying in a little hotel room. They have everything you need for camping. They even have a pretty fancy outhouse and shower situation. We didn’t get to visit the goats, but that was only because it was raining. I highly recommend this camping experience.!

Our experience at Heron on the Hill Glamping was incredible. The entire space is extremely charming, very well outfitted, and extremely welcoming. Activities abound! The host, Michelle, is extremely communicative, friendly, professional, and helpful both before our trip and during! There's plenty to do for the entire family, the tents were cozy, and for all of the camping necessities, they're taken up many notches to facilitate a more comfortable camping-experience (heated shower? Flushing porta-potties? Where else do you get that, right?) We'll be back :)
