Perched atop the Hudson Valley in Milton, NY, this fully self-contained motorhome is your own private retreat with sweeping views that stretch across one of New York's most scenic landscapes. The motorhome comes equipped with electric and water hookups, so you can settle in comfortably without roughing it. Step outside and you have 42 acres to enjoy - perfect for a slow morning walk, birdwatching, stargazing at night, or simply sitting back and soaking in the ridge-top views. Milton sits just minutes from the charming river town of Marlboro and a short drive from Poughkeepsie and the broader Hudson Valley, putting you within easy reach of local wineries, farm stands, hiking trails at Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park, and the boutique shops and restaurants of New Paltz. This is a place to slow down, breathe deep, and let the valley do its thing. This spot gives you plenty of space while keeping you close to any amenities you could need. I do not live onsite, but I am just down the road, ready and willing to assist with anything you may need!Guests arrive via a gravel road that winds its way up to the site - a fitting introduction to the peaceful, off-the-beaten-path feel of this property. Take it slow on the way in and you'll be rewarded with the kind of arrival that makes you feel like you've truly left everything behind. The motorhome is parked on a defined site with open space surrounding it - plenty of room to set up a couple of chairs, stretch out, and take in the ridge-top views without feeling cramped. There are electric and water hookups already in place and propane tanks onboard the unit. There are no shared bathrooms or facilities on site, so the motorhome's onboard amenities are what guests will use for their stay. There is no wifi, but depending on your cellphone service provider, you should be able to get a signal. Pets are family and always welcome to stay here! Beyond the immediate site, guests are welcome to wander the 42 acres of surrounding land. Whether you want to find a quiet spot to read, watch the sun set over the Hudson Valley, or simply walk the property at your own pace, the land is yours to enjoy. We grow organic produce on this property at times so the hoop houses are still in place. Nearby activities are easy to reach by car: local wineries, farm stands, and the shops and restaurants of Marlboro and New Paltz are just a short drive away, as are hiking trails at Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park.
