As we are on tank rainwater, we request that guests conserve water usage. Compost toilet is accessible up a few stairs. There is a laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience. Our camping ground is in Amamoor in the beautiful Mary Valley. It was once the local cricket pitch , so is a lovely flat spot to camp, with a mountain view to one side and our creek bordering the other 3 sides. It is within minutes drive from the Amamoor General store so supplies are never far away. It has easy access off Moorehouse Gully Rd and is fully fenced from the road. Upon discovering the Mary Valley, we found our farm and fell in love with the views, the mango plantation and the gorgeous nearby villages. Our property was once a pineapple farm and was part of a much larger property owned by the previous owners for over 60 years. The Mary Valley Rattler steam train is a great addition to the history of the area and stops at our local village of Amamoor. Amamoor has the village Green Cafe opened from Wednesday to Sunday and also is where the Rattler stops for refreshments on the weekends. On Saturday afternoon you can visit Dagun station down the road for a wine tasting and find fresh produce at the station market. With Kandanga village 10 minutes away, the Country Club and the Kandanga Hotel, a refreshing beer, a good meal and even a game of bowls is not far away. Cycle the rail trail , kyak the Mary River and check out the State Forest and all its trails, there is so much to explore. Cooran Brewery with live music Dingo Creek Winery a bit father on , and the coast only 50 minutes away, come and explore our wonderful part of the world. Terrific spot and would highly recommend if you want some peace and quiet. There are 2 seperate camps, we stayed at Hideaway for 2 weeks and loved it. We would recommend staying at the Meadow if you have smaller children or mobility issues as access to the creek is more level, but we found The Hideaway Perfect for our stay. The sites are beautifully maintained and owners Kev and Tanya have great communication and are terrific hosts. The camp is only a short drive from Gympie, so accessing supplies is super quick and easy.

There are so many friendly animals around, which was such a highlight, and the lakefront view is absolutely stunning—perfect for just zoning out and relaxing. ​The grass is perfectly manicured, making the whole site feel incredibly clean and comfortable. I was also obsessed with the kitchen; it’s so beautifully designed that even cooking felt like a "vibe." ​Most importantly, the hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. From the facilities to the scenery and the hospitality, everything was spot on. I’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommended!

This place is lovely and great for first time glampers. Its very peaceful and is a great spot to escape the city life. The outdoor kitchen space is very nice and extremely convenient with fresh water, stove and Fridge. The bathroom was also very convenient with the compostable toilet and gass shower. Ian has also painted spots on the trees located behind and up from the tent that lead to some secluded water holes. The walk is so nice and the water would have been incredible but unfortunately there hadn't been any rain so we couldn't swim in them. But still a lovely walk through the bush! There is a little town called Pomona that is about 30 minutes away and it has such a wonderful energy about it. I instantly fell in love with the simplicity and beauty. Make sure to pack, wood, fire starters and kindling Power banks - charge your torches and electronics. BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW, trust me. All and all, this place is great and definitely recommend.

We stayed at Bellwood Farm Stay as a family and absolutely loved it. The grounds are quiet, spacious, and genuinely relaxing — proper farm stay vibes. Maree is an awesome host and makes sure your stay is comfortable and stress free. Our daughter had a great time. A particular favourite was the Foosball Table in the barn, which was the source of a lot of competitive family fun and laughter during our stay! We highly recommend Bellwood Farm Stay for families who want a genuine rural escape. We will be back.

Great spot close to Pomona, would love to come back one day when the creek is flowing. Yes you are in the owners backyard, we set the van so we had our own private space, didn’t see the hosts. Lovely flat grass, shady spot with heaps of wildlife. The only problem for us was road noise however you can turn off from it after a while.

Maria and Neil are truly extraordinary human beings — warm, welcoming, and incredibly considerate. The kitchen, bathroom, and toilet are immaculately clean. We’ve used compostable toilets many times before, but this is the only place we’ve experienced where it was completely odour-free and spotless! The site itself is spacious and wonderfully quiet, surrounded by trees. The natural white noise of cicadas making the whole stay relaxing and peaceful. 25 mins drive to Noosa, yet feels like a world away. We wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Was less than 10 public parking spaces, public toilets available. Small bush trail was perfect length for families. Rock pools & creek beds were stunning!! The water temp was a smidge chilly for early spring, will be perfect as the weather warms up.
