Great spot close to Pomona, would love to come back one day when the creek is flowing. Yes you are in the owners backyard, we set the van so we had our own private space, didn’t see the hosts. Lovely flat grass, shady spot with heaps of wildlife. The only problem for us was road noise however you can turn off from it after a while.

We had such a peaceful time here. There was another family staying, which we quickly found common ground with and enjoyed chatting to when we crossed paths, Otherwise we had heaps of space, the property was beautiful and access was super easy. We spent heaps of time on the trampoline!
It was little tricky to spot from the main road though, so take it slow (hip camp sends coordinates to Google maps, but not the actual address so when we arrived, it didn't say exactly where we should be!)

Tana Suchi was lovely. Peaceful and private, we had it to ourselves. We enjoyed the creek and birdlife including a close up sighting of a beautiful Eastern Yellow Robin. The back of the host's house was in sight from where we camped but quite a long way away and we didn't feel any impact on our privacy or enjoyment at all.
We had a great 2 night stay, and Michelle was a responsive and helpful host.
The location is excellent. It was so easy to get to all the local features, Pomona township, including the markets and silent movies the Majestic Theatre , Noosa Hinterland Brewing at Cooran, Amrita Meadery, Apollonian Hotel at Booreen point etc.

We have just had a lovely weekend break at Pomona Hinterland Retreat.
Michelle was a great host, meeting and greeting us at the gate and then showing us to and around the camping area. Then leaving us to ourselves.
The grounds are very well maintained, level and no reversing is required. Just pick your spot and drive thru.
We were lucky having the whole place to ourselves. Our Cattle dog cross enjoyed the freedom of the big open campground and investigating the creek.
The Town of Pomona is just 5 minutes away and is a lovely country town. Don't go there with a full stomach as there are many eateries, a distillery and a brewery to be enjoyed.
A highly reccommend camping. We look forward to returning in the future.

Host Michele was a very lovely lady. Really enjoyed camping on this property. There is a dump site and water available in town about 6 minutes away. IGA close by too with very reasonable prices. We put our caravan 21'6 close to the creek to hear the running water. Very relaxing property. At night we came across an echidna at our van. Possums in the tree, bird life too (yellow kingfisher, black cockatoos). Definitely a place recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Tana Suci. We had a lovely peaceful spot by the creek. The only campers there with plenty of space for our dog Toby to explore. He also loved his swim in the creek. A great spot to use as a base to explore the surrounding area. Although there was a lot of space and the house was semi camouflaged, you do tend to still feel you are in someone’s backyard. The host Michelle is lovely and left us to ourselves. Thank you Michelle for sharing your beautiful property.

Host was fantastic and really friendly and accommodating, close to Pomona. However the residence is close to where you camp so if you want complete seclusion then not the best choice

The property was very nice. Unfortunately did to the wet weather we weren't able to park in the usual spots but Michele located us to a suitable spot. The usual spots are very nice and private. The kids had fun on the trampoline available. The property was nice and central to Pomona so we visited the weekend markets.

Spacious block able to hold numerous campers without being in each others pockets. Beautiful tree lined creek. Plenty of birds. Road noise minimal during the day near zero at night. No Optus reception. Good Tv. Good place to stay as a base to see many things in the area. Not far to Noosa, Gympie and all the little towns in between.

Nature trully is amazing after rising from the floods just a couple of weeks ago and with the extraordinary effort, blood, sweat and tears of Michele and Jim, you would never have guessed this beautiful green property is celebrating the magnificent sounds of birdlife whilst some terrific plant life has popped its head up and has been growing at full speed in such a short period of time.
Being positioned just meters from the creek on 3 sides and hearing the flow of the water whilst sitting by the crackling fire with a hot chocky in hand was simply so lovely and restfull.
Whilst we could see others camping on the property, they were so far away, with so much space to spread out, we could not hear them nor was there any interaction. Whilst we could hear the occasional passing traffic we seriously felt we were in our own world.

Lovely couple hosted us for one night right on the creaks edge. An absolutely beautiful spot screened off from the nearby residence for privacy. When the ground has dried out after the flooding it would be nice to try a spot near the swimming hole. The host obviously spends an enormous amount of time maintaining this property to a very high standard. Thanks.

Michele was a very lovely host. The kids enjoyed playing in the water and jumping on the trampoline. We saw lots of wildlife and had a great adventure to Mothar Mountain which is only 20 min drive away. A very nice place to stay.

We were planning to stay for a few nights but ended up staying for 8! We loved the privacy, the land, the swim hole not far from the property, the lushness of the area. We felt safe and Michele is a great host.

Tanah Suci was such a good experience. We camped over night in a self sufficient van, and we loved it. So peaceful and quiet, lots of wildlife, a beautiful creek running through the property, and we were able to set up wherever we liked. Michele was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, it was perfect for a hinterland retreat.

We enjoyed staying at Tanah Suci - it was peaceful and had plenty of room. Michele and Jim were great hosts. They welcomed us when we arrived and guided us to our site. There was plenty of room on the flat ground to pull the van up at our secluded camping spot complete with firepit. We had a very relaxing time.

We had a wonderful weekend staying with Michelle on her property. She and James made us so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We had a delightful space beside the creek and the trampoline and swings kept the kids busy. A particular thank you to James for giving the kids a ride while we packed!
