The campsites are spaced out quite far apart giving you ample privacy and freedom. The hosts a very nice and the property feels very natural. Did not see restrooms with running water though.

This was such a magical spot! I was the only person there, and loved the quiet and solitude. The crystal meditation was really worth the extra, and I hope to return again soon.

We loved our stay at Dragon’s Gate. The meadows were so peaceful and beautiful. Kathleen shared her animals with our kids, who were thrilled to meet them. They’re still talking about them days later. We recommend staying there.

We absolutely loved our time at Dragons Gate Gardens! Even when the sites filled up over the holiday weekend, we had so much privacy and had so much fun exploring the property! Will definitely be back! :)

Lovely stay on Kathleen's property in Tenino! It was truly wonderful and peaceful. We enjoyed the fresh well water, the quiet meadows, and having enough privacy from other campsites. It was also great to stay under the trees on a hot day. I would come back and visit again with friends and family

Great place to detox and connect with nature. Mornings are especially beautiful. The campsites are spread out decently. The host is a great support. She allowed flying of drones too. The Hipcamp has all necessary amenities. All in all, a great experience.

Pure magic!! Watched the stars light up the sky on night one. Saw so many great woodland creatures; even a porcupine on the way down. Wild thunder and lightning storm. Sunny final day. A beautiful surprise by my daughter showing up and Kathleen was so welcoming to her too! Wish I could have stayed longer. Best birthday weekend ever! This land is special. And the hosts are so kind and thoughtful 🩵 what an honor and a privilege to have stayed here. I’ll be back!

Loved Dragon's Gate and the meadow field spot. Sites were cleared well with potable water close by and an outhouse. Kathleen was very welcoming and gave my husband and daughter a crystal sound healing. We spent the day at a local state park with a lake. Would come again.

Jessie's Camp site 4
We wanted to escape from the city and find beautiful, quiet place to relax. We found that at Kathleens place. Our camp site was big and we felt surrounded by nature. Fishing on the river was just minutes away. Kathleen and her husband were very accomodating and happy to answer questions & chit chat. We had a great time & would definitely return for another camp!

Such a beautiful property! Our kids brought their bikes and we biked all over! Having the well water was really convenient. We stayed at campsite #1 and while it was beautiful, there were cow pies everywhere, which also attracted a lot of flies. We had to dodge the cow pies the whole time. I wouldn’t stay at that site again, but there were other sites that were cleaner.

Site 4 - Moon Meadow at Dragons Gate
All of the campsites at Dragon's Gate Gardens are beautiful, but we especially loved the spaciousness and wildness of the spot we got in Moon Meadow. There is so much wildlife to enjoy -- we even heard a barn owl's screech at night, along with so many other birds and other critters. There was tons of space for our dogs to run around in off-leash, which they absolutely loved! Dragon's Gate is easily the most dog-friendly campground we've ever visited. The hosts are so friendly, kind, an accommodating, bringing firewood down to our campsite and making sure that we had everything we needed. We always love to visit Dragon's Gate and this weekend was no exception. We'll be back! Thank you, Kathleen!!

Really nice camping spot surrounded by trees. Firewood delivered to our site was perfect. Only downside was the ants. Just come prepared with closed toe shoes and it’s ok.

Site 2 - Giant Crystal Retreat @ DragonsGate
Kathleen is a wonderful host :) Our family, including our dogs had a great time on her property. It’s so peaceful there. Close enough to town but in the country. There’s a great swimming hole less than 2 miles away from the property. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a lovely location with lovely hosts. Our camp site was big with lots of room for our kids to play. Felt very safe, although totally off-grid with no cell service for any of us, Fire pits were huge, as well as the $15 firewood bundle, and the picnic table was great. Super happy to have a cute outhouse to use (with provided toilet paper and sanitizer), but I felt like I was going to fall through the floor—needs a little repair. Spent the day at the river spot at the end of skookumchuk rd—what a lovely, sacred space! Thank you for sharing your lovely land with us.

Really awesome and personal experience at Dragon’s Gate. We felt very welcomed by Kathleen and Mose and the general magic of the place. Just a short drive to the river and oooh man was that river awesome. I would love to come back here over and over again!

Our stay at Deagons Gate Moon #1 was fantastic! The site was private and perfect in every way- a meadow surrounded by a magical forest, complete with fire-pit, potable water and nearby outhouse.
Our hosts were super friendly, dropped off our firewood each night, along extra treats for the 4 pups.
If want plenty of privacy and roaming room, Dragon’s Gate is the place for you!
We will definitely be back- Thank you Kathleen and Moz!

I absolutely LOVED camping here, as did my teenage son and his friend, and my fiance (with the mustache!) the grounds were gorgeous, it was as private as I wanted it to be, and it was SO hard to leave. The vibes are immaculate, too. You can feel the love, community, and next level energy there. I loved waking up with the sunrise and enjoying the wildflowers and trees and birds while grounding and meditating. The outhouse was perfect and well maintained. The spigot for water was very nice and very coo! We took a quick hike over to the river and cooled down, but the trees at the site provided enough shade to keep us cool during the hottest parts of the days. There was plenty of places to explore, and we left our stuff unattended for several hours and it was very safe. The teens had plenty of places to wander and explore, and used their wifi when they needed a change of scenery. I never worried about them, and they loved seeing all the trees and wildflowers. There are a lot of ants and some flies, but that can be anywhere and here, they truly don't bother you. Everything about this place is love and peaceful energy.
However, the real gem here is the owners! They have wonderful energy and are extremely nice. I loved chatting with them and getting to know about the land. I learned a lot and got a few new interesting perspectives to help me grow as a human. I could have stayed there longer than our long weekend and am already trying to plan when we can come back!

Kathleen and Moz are great. The spot was very peaceful, with tons of birds and wildflowers. Didn't see any of the elk but some deer came through. The hosts are excellent communicators. The price for the amount of wood provided is excellent, but I recommend bringing an axe or hatchet

Lovely and very private meadow could accommodate a much larger group. When ulu arrive look for a walkie talkie in a plastic bag on top of a hip camp sign and press the button on the upper left side to speak so the host will find you and lead you to your site. Thurston county still but really wild place to watch the moon and hear the coyotes sing.

We tent camped and it was absolutely beautiful! Directions were easy, which is important because there’s no cell service (at least for Verizon) and we really enjoyed that we were able to unplug for our trip!
