There is an all natural playground area for children, volleyball court, tether ball, gaga pit, etc. available. Site is accessible to VIR Speedway, Averett University, Hargrave Military Academy and Chatham Hall. Within a 15 minute drive there are quaint little shops. Durham, Raleigh and Chapel Hill are an hour away. Learn more about this land: Hipcampers can expect a bare shelter with a hammock available. The shelter itself is easy to access with a ramp. It is surrounded by woods and small fields. Free ranging donkeys and a pig are very close nearby. May wake up to donkeys braying! Within walking distance is a ADA accessible bathhouse with showers . Cozy Cabin

It was so nice, peaceful and they are very kind people. I'd recommend to any of my friends or family. I loved the donkeys and waddles the pig!!

This was so much fun. They have the sweetest donkeys ever and when I entered the cabin, I literally gasped. It is so quaint and perfect, we had a wonderful time here. There's a huge firepit, picnic table and a bunch of games to play if you're looking for something to do on the picnic table besides eat.

Cozy Cabin

Fantastic stay! Really enjoyed the animals outside while having a fire! The cabin had way more amenities than expected. That ended up making our stay much easier and more enjoyable. We look forward to coming back again!

Rustic, clean, and cozy! Great for a little getaway from all the noise we have around us. Put away your wifi devices cause there is none and enjoy nature around you. Super kind hosts and animals.
