The Property: Located north of Cookeville in the rolling hills and farmland, our property is on Spring Creek, a state scenic river. Situated between two waterfalls and featuring over half a mile of river frontage to explore. Float, fish and relax listening to the cascading water. Perfect for bird watchers- blue and green herons, ospreys, hawks, bald eagles and more. You may spot the creek critters- minks, beavers, and otters. Various types of bass, craw dad's and minnows are in the creek. We operate similar to a state park. We are open to the public from 10am-7pm, peak season. We have other listings that are spaced so each of our guests has privacy. Please see aerial photo for an overview. We sometimes have small events (birthday parties, ect) at the pavilion. Please feel free to message us first, if you would like to see if there are any events during your stay. There are 2 restrooms centrally located at the pavilion. One bathroom has a shower with hot water, soap, shampoo/conditioner included. The restrooms are shared with our other listings. There are USB and regular outlets in the pavilion and WiFi. During warm season the outdoor kitchen is available as well. We also rent out a Suite which is located above the pavilion. Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. Pets are welcome as long as they are leashed and picked up after. Please note there is a gun range 2 hollers away and depending on the season, it can be heard from our property. Tent in the Trees Listing: Your tent site is built above the trail and overlooking the creek. The tent is equipped with a queen bed, linens, and extra blankets. Your essential cooking gear (plates, utensils, cups, cookware, french press, coffee and 1 burner camp stove). There is a fire pit with grill and griddles for cooking over wood or charcoal. We supply fire wood for you and you're welcome scavange the wood nearby. Really, all you need is clothes, food and drink! Primitive Camp Site: The rustic camp site is DIY. It is 300' from pavilion, and 600' from Tent in the Trees. We provide a picnic table and fire pit with wood. You bring all the rest of your gear. Typically, you may park next to your campsite. If you have forgotten any gear, please ask us. We have some supplies available for rent. No RV's, converted vans are permitted. If you have a very small camper, please message us to see if we can accommodate. There are no hookups, and no loud generators allowed. Escape in nature and sleep soundly to the sounds of the creek!

Camping at Waterloo Falls
Just got home from 2 day tent camping at Waterloo Falls. This place is amazing!! The owners are friendly and very accommodating. The property is beautiful and well taken care of. You can tell they love their land and the business they run. We had the best time in the water at both of the falls. We even walked down further to a 3rd falls, much smaller than the others but secluded and peaceful. The camping site was right by the water and I loved hearing the falls all day and night. Fire pit with unlimited wood which wasn’t necessary due to the high temps but nice to know it’s there. The shelter house was great for charging phones, fans, lights, battery packs. The shower house was such a nice amenity. Weekends in the summer are packed with visitors. I would recommend to the owners that you have the visitors walk the driveway to the waterfall trail and block off the dead end trail with the campsites. It can be a little uncomfortable with 50+ random people walking by your tent all day long and just staring but other than that I 100% recommend this camping area. A lot of memories made. 💜

Camping at Waterloo Falls
SO lovely :)
We had the best camping experience here! Beautiful site by the water, with firewood and fire starter ready for us upon arrival! Short walks to both of the waterfalls on site. We loved getting to enjoy the falls privately with our pup before the property opened to the public at 10am.

Tent in the trees
We loved our stay at Tent in the Trees. It looks exactly like the photos, right in between 2 waterfalls (it is open to the public 10-7). The hosts were super nice and helpful. The bed was very comfy for 2 people, we stayed in July so the days were hot, but the tend is nestled in the trees which shades it nicely. It also gets cool enough at night that we sleep great! The host had everything we needed (pots and pans, silverware, plates and cups, spices and olive oil). I recommend bringing a 2nd battery powered fan for the room if you stay in the summer. Perfect 2 days romantic getaway with our pups, highly recommend for disconnecting!
