Our family fell in love with the country and wanted to be able to share our experience with you! We created a beautiful glamping site with a classic A-frame structure that is perfect to relax in after a day of hiking, swimming, snowboarding, skiing, whitewater rafting, or any other adventures the area has to enjoy. While at our farm, guest have the opportunity to take a step back from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwind to the natural surroundings. Experience the outdoors without giving up the comforts from home! Our A-Frame hideaway has a queen-sized bed, linens, loft with a small additional sleeping area, sleeping bag, deck, cooking area, outhouse which contains a dry composting toilet along with an outdoor shower that has a 5-gallon refillable solar heated water bag , fire pit, outdoor chairs, and a beautiful mountain view! Our glamping utilizes solar energy for eco-friendly camping providing interior lighting, and 4 USB ports for phone charging, bluetooth speaker usage, etc. We are a working farm which means you may hear some farm equipment, cows mooing, goats, chickens, etc. We provide chicken and goat treats in case you would like to interact with a few of our farm animals. Parking: Convenient parking is located next to the A-Frame The A-Frame has a propane space heater, we will provide you with 2 full 16 ounce propane cylinders that combined will heat the space for approximately 10 hours. If you need a refill during your stay we ask that you please refill the tanks or upon request we can provide you with 2 additional 16 ounce cylinders for $15.00. We provide a bundle of wood for the the outdoor fire pit and have more wood bundles available onsite for $5.00-$10.00 per bundle. We sell 10lb bags of ice for $5.00 and provide a cooler on site complimentary along with coffee, hot cocoa, creamer, sugar, oil, single burner propane cook stove, cooking ware, dining ware, shampoo, conditioner, soap, bed linens, pillows, sleeping bag, towels, bug spray, TP, solar powered phone charger, metal roasting sticks, LED lanterns, board / card games, and lighters. Cozy Mountain A-Frame

This cabin had the BEST views. It was extremely accommodating. A comfortable bed, all the camping supplies, solar heated showers, wood even cut and stacked for a fire. 10/10 recommend!

Cozy Mountain A-Frame

This little cabin was such a nice little getaway. The host provided us with all the essentials. the area was clean and organized! Loved seeing the farm animals and getting to detach from the city for a while. My only complaint is that it was very cold at night and our propane heater ran out of propane around 3am. If you are planning to come during the winter bring lots of blankets!!!

Cozy Mountain A-Frame

We had the absolute best time at Big Oak Family Farm! Our two pups absolutely loved watching all of the animals and taking in all of the smells. We will absolutely be booking another stay! (For those traveling with pets, a large sized kennel fit inside the A Frame.)

Absolutely perfect little spot! The A-frame was perfect and the farm made it even better. Comfortable, beautiful views and Brittney was a great host. We will be back!

So peaceful, loved this little A Frame, it was so comfortable and cozy outside, tree swing and great fire pit. The cabin had some great essentials inside too. Woke up to chickens and horses and the prettiest view.

Cozy Mountain A-Frame

10/10 Experience!

Truly a breathtaking experience. It was raining so we only opened up the A frame for a little bit but to watch the sunset over the mountains was amazing. We woke up with their horse right out the window. Such a cute farm and really homey place to stay. I would 10/10 recommend! They had a binder of all the places around and lights and fans. It was just all so amazing. Thank you for sharing a piece of your farm with us!
