Sacred Dog Ranch

Loved this site! So quiet and pretty. We enjoyed visiting with the hosts and animals on property. Site is private and the grounds very cool. Being welcomed by large Buddha statues and cool signs/art was also amazing. I’ll be back whenever I’m in the area and I’ll stay longer. We didn’t have any issues with the driveway in with my truck and 20ft trailer. Hookups worked great.

First of all, beautiful land - we loved the scenic drive in and all of the art. It is something special and unique. Lisa & Gary were some of the coolest people we’ve met on our travels, amazing hosts and so generous. We loved the vibes and the music, while our dogs loved their comfortable and fun short stay. Sacred Dog Ranch was great to stay! Lisa was very friendly & welcoming! Just be careful if you have a taller rig, as you need to watch the trees above as you are coming in on the driveway. Lots of fun animals on the property & her house is like a museum. I recommend Lisa’s land & would stay here again! Love the vibes!

Perfect place for a getaway! Super nice host, could not ask for better! Everything is set up perfectly! Nice creek to explore quiet woods to check out, meandering trails for nice walks! Highly recommend them! Will be back soon for more adventures with them! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Had a great time tent camping at the ranch :-) The hosts were super helpful and friendly and we loved meeting all the animals. Two of the dogs decided to be our sidekicks as we took a scenic path to the creek and packed down our camp. Very special weekend!

Highly recommend! The property is very beautiful, and animals are so sweet and the family is friendly and are wonderful hosts! We look forward to visiting more often. We rode horses down through the creek and had a huge bonfire all night. We stayed in one of their other cabins they offered us onsite, it was very comfortable. There happen to be 5 kittens on property when we were there and they were so small and playful. This place is so close to the city, easy for a 1-3 night stay. Thank you Lisa and Gary! Site 6 - Tipi x Honeybee Gardens

We had the best time at Sacred Dog Ranch this past weekend and feel like we made lifelong friends with Lisa and Gary. Our dog, Sage, played with his fellow Dal new friends, my daughter rode Fancy the gorgeous horse and we felt like instant family. It’s right outside Nashville and remote enough we didn’t feel like we were in a cookie cutter suburb. Lisa was so welcoming and generous with her authentic self. My kids and I loved our visit and will be back.

Sacred Dog Ranch!!! Lisa and her family have a lovely piece of land with many stunning Buddha statues that welcome you as you drive in the tree lined driveway. The serenity continues onto their gardens and hip camp sites. We were welcomed by a gaggle of fun dogs! The artistic grounds and murals were a delight! How lucky we were to stay a night with them! We recommend this spot and will certainly be back! Y’all are THE BEST 🥰

Best Stay Ever!

Sacred Dog Ranch is unreal! The hosts are the kindest people ever. We got to ride horses, hang out with the sweetest dogs, and even feed a fox (!!). The whole place feels open and peaceful—outdoor shower, hot tub, fresh tomatoes from the garden—it’s just the perfect spot to reset and recharge. Already dreaming about going back.

Site 6 - Tipi x Honeybee Gardens

Beautiful property and friendly hosts. My kids got to name kittens and enjoyed seeing all the livestock. We spent hours roaming around the gardens or in the woods, down to the creek. The cabin is very cool. My wife and I particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch for an afternoon rain storm. Quick drive to Lenny’s Country Kitchen for great food.

We stayed at the ranch two nights while visiting family in Fairview. The property is not far from Hwy 40. You enter on a tree-lined driveway and our 20 foot travel trailer was fine. Easy hook up to 30amp, water may need additional hose. The owners are very welcoming and loved letting us see their unique property. There are dogs (who stay near Lisa and the residence) and horses (in their paddock). We had two relaxing, starry nights with no AC needed - in June! It's a great place to stop over when traveling on Hwy 40 or to stay a while and see the area.

One dog will deff stick out more to you with love (Payaso) they are very accommodating and will do whatever they can to make sure your stay is comforting. Will deff be coming back out here for the horse back riding!

An Art Lovers Haven

This was such a great experience and I will definitely be back next time I am in the area! Lisa was so welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. I made friends with all the dogs and even got a little cat drool in my lap. The cabin itself was a work of art, literally, and I was spoiled for a place to sleep. If youre into art, this place is a haven. My only regret is that I had to wake up and leave early to beat the rain.

We enjoyed camping on Lisa’s land and receiving a tour of the property! Lisa and Gary are welcoming, hospitable and generous. They provided a clean compostable toilet, potable water from a hose and an electrical outlet by our site. It was a quiet healing setting.

Great for a getaway!

Lisa is super friendly and willing to go out of her way to accommodate you if possible. The cabin my friend and I stayed in was one room with a screened in front porch, it had a bunk bed with full or queen bed on the bottom. There was a mini fridge. No running water but she brought us a gallon of water and a couple cups. There is an outhouse nearby that seemed pretty clean, no smell! She’s working on improving the WiFi signal there. I used my own data. Was able to park right in front of the cabin. Lots of friendly dogs here. Recommend!
