Had a great time tent camping at the ranch :-) The hosts were super helpful and friendly and we loved meeting all the animals. Two of the dogs decided to be our sidekicks as we took a scenic path to the creek and packed down our camp. Very special weekend!

I loved this place! I booked it as a crash pad while I visited friends. I wish I had planned better, I would have booked it for all of us to stay. The place is really cool and Lisa is a helpful host.

Highly recommend! The property is very beautiful, and animals are so sweet and the family is friendly and are wonderful hosts! We look forward to visiting more often. We rode horses down through the creek and had a huge bonfire all night. We stayed in one of their other cabins they offered us onsite, it was very comfortable. There happen to be 5 kittens on property when we were there and they were so small and playful. This place is so close to the city, easy for a 1-3 night stay. Thank you Lisa and Gary! We had the best time at Sacred Dog Ranch this past weekend and feel like we made lifelong friends with Lisa and Gary. Our dog, Sage, played with his fellow Dal new friends, my daughter rode Fancy the gorgeous horse and we felt like instant family. It’s right outside Nashville and remote enough we didn’t feel like we were in a cookie cutter suburb. Lisa was so welcoming and generous with her authentic self. My kids and I loved our visit and will be back.

Sacred Dog Ranch!!! Lisa and her family have a lovely piece of land with many stunning Buddha statues that welcome you as you drive in the tree lined driveway. The serenity continues onto their gardens and hip camp sites. We were welcomed by a gaggle of fun dogs! The artistic grounds and murals were a delight! How lucky we were to stay a night with them!
We recommend this spot and will certainly be back!

Sacred Dog Ranch is unreal! The hosts are the kindest people ever. We got to ride horses, hang out with the sweetest dogs, and even feed a fox (!!). The whole place feels open and peaceful—outdoor shower, hot tub, fresh tomatoes from the garden—it’s just the perfect spot to reset and recharge. Already dreaming about going back.

We loved Sacred Dog Ranch. My kids enjoyed all the animals and the ability to walk through the trails. We also fit in a horse ride. I enjoyed the calm, and the beautiful sunset.

Glamping Cabin
Beautiful property and friendly hosts. My kids got to name kittens and enjoyed seeing all the livestock. We spent hours roaming around the gardens or in the woods, down to the creek. The cabin is very cool. My wife and I particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch for an afternoon rain storm. Quick drive to Lenny’s Country Kitchen for great food.

We stayed at the ranch two nights while visiting family in Fairview. The property is not far from Hwy 40. You enter on a tree-lined driveway and our 20 foot travel trailer was fine. Easy hook up to 30amp, water may need additional hose. The owners are very welcoming and loved letting us see their unique property. There are dogs (who stay near Lisa and the residence) and horses (in their paddock). We had two relaxing, starry nights with no AC needed - in June! It's a great place to stop over when traveling on Hwy 40 or to stay a while and see the area.

Lisa’s Sacred Dog Ranch is a veritable Garden of Eden. Lisa and her family welcomed us with open arms to their beautiful home and gardens. They have stewarded the land with care and intention, cultivating a series of wonderful spaces complete with art, animals, and authenticity.

Lisa & Gary welcome you to their land with open arms! Greeted by a bunch of lovely wonderful dogs. One dog will deff stick out more to you with love (Payaso) they are very accommodating and will do whatever they can to make sure your stay is comforting. Will deff be coming back out here for the horse back riding!

This was such a great experience and I will definitely be back next time I am in the area! Lisa was so welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. I made friends with all the dogs and even got a little cat drool in my lap. The cabin itself was a work of art, literally, and I was spoiled for a place to sleep. If youre into art, this place is a haven. My only regret is that I had to wake up and leave early to beat the rain.

We enjoyed camping on Lisa’s land and receiving a tour of the property! Lisa and Gary are welcoming, hospitable and generous. They provided a clean compostable toilet, potable water from a hose and an electrical outlet by our site. It was a quiet healing setting.

Lisa is super friendly and willing to go out of her way to accommodate you if possible. The cabin my friend and I stayed in was one room with a screened in front porch, it had a bunk bed with full or queen bed on the bottom. There was a mini fridge. No running water but she brought us a gallon of water and a couple cups. There is an outhouse nearby that seemed pretty clean, no smell! She’s working on improving the WiFi signal there. I used my own data. Was able to park right in front of the cabin. Lots of friendly dogs here. Recommend!

This is our 2nd time to Sacred Dog Ranch. It's a beautiful space for tent camping or RV. If you have kids that enjoy animals they will love it, and the creek at the back of the property. The only caveat is you need to like dogs there are 7 or more and they roam around but for the most part leave you alone.

WILL BE REVISITING! The hosts are lovely, friendly, interesting people who will treat you like you’re a close friend. I brought my dog with me and she had a great time playing with their 8 dogs on the property, and the screened in porch is a game changer! There are a couple fun farm animals around. The cabin is perfect for a camping/shelter feel, a bed in a comfy decorated studio with windows. nothing too fancy just how we like it! Some of the cabins are still a work in progress so I’m very excited to visit Lisa and Gary in the future :) thankful to have found this and them!

Great Montgomery Bell Alternate!!

Since Montgomery Bell State park will be closed for a while, we looked at alternate locations and found this one. This very spacious property with 30-amp hookup for our travel trailer was perfect. Lisa was very gracious and hospitable and her property had beautifully eclectic charm. Lots of sweet dogs roaming the property along with other points of interest Lisa will be happy to show you around. Would stay here even when M. Bell park opens back up!

We had such a good time at the Sacred Dog Ranch. The boys didn't want to leave and the oldest insisted he was not leaving. The owners were very friendly and accommodating! We would love to visit again!
