We only stayed one night but wish we had been able to stay longer. The site is small but super cozy and sleeping under the trees was beautiful. It’s a quick walk down to the river and I highly recommend water shoes as the river is very rocky. We will definitely be back!!

The campsite was great! It was nice to have a very private feeling, cozy site while also being able to enjoy the river. Check in was smooth and Jenny even brought the wood we bought straight to our campsite!

Even though we had never stayed at Howlin’ Hill before—having only kayaked with Duck Canoe years ago—Jenny made us feel like absolute family from the moment we arrived. The campground has an incredibly welcoming and safe atmosphere. Both Jenny and her partner went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, from firewood to ice.The community here is just as amazing as the hosts. The other campers were so friendly they even invited us to a Fourth of July party down the road, which featured an spectacular fireworks show where everyone made us feel right at home.The next morning, as we were planning a kayak trip with their partner company, Jenny told us we could take our time checking out since no one was booked behind us. She is truly amazing, and we absolutely love this campground. We will definitely be back!

This is our second time staying at Site 17! And it was on 4th of July! There were some fireworks which were very pretty. The river had plenty of room for everyone. Still would recommend this site to EVERYONE!!

We loved it here! We actually already rebooked for the following weekend! The owner was so friendly, it was the perfect amount of privacy. We had plenty of space. Our dogs all loved it as well. I’d recommend to everyone! This was our first time using Hip Camp and it could not have gone any better!

My wife and i stayed at Howlin Hill for the homestead festival beginning of June. Relatively quiet and very clean tent camping site. We also got a magnificent firefly show!

I loved tent camping on Jenny’s land. Every host should aspire to be like her. I was able to talk to her before I booked where other accounts don’t get back to you for 6-11 hours. Her campsite and morale was a 10/10 if I ever come back to Tennessee I’m going to her site!

This place was absolutely perfect! It was private, and right on the water. They delivered firewood for us, and I can’t imagine a better camping spot. The traffic at night was pretty loud, that was a downer but what can you do?. The fireflies were out thick at might and when they twinkled in the trees and sky it felt like a magical place. I loved it

The weeds around the site needs to be cut back. We brought home ticks and chiggers. Also, there was no contact from the host. I found that odd.

Listen, I love this place so much I've been there four or five times. If you love to fish or you love Rivers with the beachfront, privacy, good bathrooms, places to throw stuff away, awesome locations with them Sandy good prices, good people and strangers that will become friends easily, and last but not least the host or absolutely wonderful people and will go out of their way to make you comfortable but also respect your privacy to the fullest. Is my favorite place on hip Camp so far, and if you try it it'll be yours too.

Had a great time tent camping! The land was gorgeous with bright green grass and clear skies. Much closer to Duck river than I thought! There was easy access to shower rooms and porta potty. Everything was very clean, and the hosts even delivered firewood to the site when purchased. The perfect site for families and friends.

Loved our experience! The property is beautiful, the sites are well maintained, and the host is so kind. Sadly the weather kept us from staying overnight, but we had a beautiful day and will definitely be back again!
It was my first time “camping” (in quotes because we didn’t spend the night!!) in a while but I grew up camping and want to get back into it. Jenny was so welcoming and responsive on Hipcamp and also on site. She brought over wood for our bonfire, checked in to make sure we were all set up, had everything we needed, and were aware of the weather for the night.
We were on site 4, The perfect hammock site, and got both of our hammocks set up with no problem and had 2 options for our tent placement! Looking forward to going back :)
