Primitive, Hammock, Tent camping, and small campers (16ft ish and under only, WITH NO HOOKUPS) at its absolute best! Great riverfront campsites as well as more secluded wooded sites just a short walk away from the riverfront. Howlin' Hill has the best riverfront beach access on this stretch of the gorgeous Duck River. Most of our campsites are shaded by a continuous tree canopy and each site is equipped with a fire pit. We have firewood for sale. Early summertime offers an amazing light show performed by thousands of lightning bugs. Portables and spring fed showers are provided within walking distance from your site. Located just 8 miles from Chapel Hill and Henry Horton State Park, our campgrounds can be reached in under an hour from many of Middle Tennessee’s more urban areas. We do allow early check in as long as the campsite is clear out from previous campers. We are very strict on our speed limit on the property. It is 5 mph for a reason. Please do the requested speed.

Had a great time tent camping! The land was gorgeous with bright green grass and clear skies. Much closer to Duck river than I thought! There was easy access to shower rooms and porta potty. Everything was very clean, and the hosts even delivered firewood to the site when purchased. The perfect site for families and friends.

Site 4 The perfect hammock site
Loved our experience! The property is beautiful, the sites are well maintained, and the host is so kind. Sadly the weather kept us from staying overnight, but we had a beautiful day and will definitely be back again! It was my first time “camping” (in quotes because we didn’t spend the night!!) in a while but I grew up camping and want to get back into it. Jenny was so welcoming and responsive on Hipcamp and also on site. She brought over wood for our bonfire, checked in to make sure we were all set up, had everything we needed, and were aware of the weather for the night. We were on site 4, The perfect hammock site, and got both of our hammocks set up with no problem and had 2 options for our tent placement! Looking forward to going back :)

We loved camping on Jenny's land! My friends and I booked site 15 and 16 and loved how spacious and private each site was. We were next to each other but separated by trees so it was nice and private but close enough to congregate to each other's sites! Jenny was super hospitable and periodically checked on us to see if we needed anything. Also loved that the porta potty was kept super clean. Nicest porta potty I've ever used! The river is close by so we took multiple walks along the riverside. It was so nice and scenic. 10/10 stay!

Site 4 The perfect hammock site
The sight was beautiful! We only did one night to test out a new truck bed tent that went great! Sight 4 was "small" but well positioned to make the most out of the space. We will definitely be back soon with the kids to spend a full weekend camping! A small amount of road noise but the natural sounds overpowered it most of the time.

Perfect! This was our first time camping and we will definitely be back. The host was great and checked on us a couple of times throughout the night and the site was secluded and private. 10/10 would recommend 🤗

Jenny is a great host- she’s super responsive and warm. This place is well kept, is family friendly, feels very safe, and has great vibes. I will say I was hoping for a quiet, secluded weekend- but I think that’s on me for going on a holiday 🤪 I’m looking forward to weekday fall trips here, when I’m sure it will be quiet and still feel just as safe.

Secluded VIP site is our #1 site.
Loved this campground and our VIP campsite. Perfect for our group of 20 or so. Easy to get to and plenty of room for our tents and vehicles. On a great point of the river where you can kayak/canoe down from the boat ramp back to the campground and/or float on tubes down to the bridge take-out. The Hosts were very cool people and were very accommodating. Look forward to staying at this one in the future.

Had a awesome time ended up getting a little visitor in the middle of the night looking for snacks so always make sure all food is in your vehicle lol but he didn't leave hungry lol but we had a good time loved enjoying the water

We stayed at camp site #2. It was absolutely amazing!!! They're was so much room. We had a 10 man tent, a table, and chairs. There was an enormous amount of room left for our dogs to be tied up away from knocking the table or being too close to the fire pit. It was the perfect spot!

Absolutely beautiful property, with access to great kayaking and tubing right on site, as well as a beautiful natural spring to swim in. The owners are awesome, and were very accommodating! We had a blast! We will definitely be back. :) Thank you for letting us stay!

Jenny’s campsites are just what you need! We stayed on a Monday night. Jenny wasn’t there to greet us herself, but had another regular check in on us shortly after our arrival. Jenny herself came down and greeted us later and was just lovely. Safe, clean, spacious, water access! What more can you ask for?!?

We absolutely loved the camp site. We had our family there with plenty of room. The camp site is nicely manicured and very comfortable to camp at. The walk to the river was not bad. The port a potties were very clean. Jenny was amazing and was constantly checking on us bringing us wood and ice. I highly recommend this camp site.

I loved tent camping on Jenny’s land. Everyone was nice and would say hello. Site 14 was a great campsite and not far of a walk to the water to wade or swim in. Had a great time. Very pet friendly.
