Enjoy glamping in our optional 2017 19' retro style camper with a bathroom Just 35 minutes west of Loveless Cafe' in Nashville and 20 minutes south of the Dickson exit at I40. The 48 acre campground has just 3 big tent sites for more seclusion and is almost all old forest with wide trails and huge old growth trees. There is about a 1/2 acre of field to park in between the road and the creek if you don't have an off road vehicle. The rest is woods. Mother Nature has a lot to offer when you cross the creek into the first two campsites that are on the 30' creek. One big spring runs through the middle of the 2 sites with small cascading waterfalls. Both sites have string lights and 120V extension cords. These two sites are separated by the driveway and about 150' apart but a bridge connects the two if you have another couple that wants to join you these two spots are perfect for privacy and companionship. Expand the pictures to a full screen as you scroll so the description will show up at the bottom of the picture. Not all pictures are on the property but describe close places to visit as well. FIREWOOD: Split wood is available upon request and sold in the area (if it's available at the time) or any fallen dead wood from the forest is free. $7.00 for a 20" bundle. Please let us know ahead of time or order it on the site. SITE 1: The nicer of the two sites along the creek, has granite counters, a round fire pit with a fold down heavy cooking grate, charcoal grill and a large wrought iron table and chairs. RENT A CAMPER WITH SITE 1 or BRING YOUR PERSONAL CAMPER: Our retro style 2017 option on the other side of the creek with stairs and stones to cross the creek. Sometimes the walking stones get washed out. 30 amp. 240 and 120 volt plugs. Click on additional fees for camper electrical hook up. SITE 2: Also along side the 30' creek. There is a round steel fire pit surrounded with wrought iron chairs, a separate picnic table, granite countertop work space and a small grill. 2 fairly flat areas for tents. Set your chairs in the creek in front of your site. The clear cold water is a great place to relax and cool off or watch crawfish, minnows and salamanders and the occasional blue herron. 120V and string lights. Parking is a little tight unless you're in a Jeep of more off road vehicle that can park up the hill a bit. SITE 3: "Still Hollow" is more private and located right in the middle valley of the property where a different spring fed creek runs down the wooded valley. There is no electricity but you can still enjoy the sound of small cascading waterfalls and a creek that runs along the side of the site for a relaxing sleep. There is a granite countertop, charcoal grill and a fire ring. A small round wrought iron table and 4 chairs are there for a place to eat lunch. The old moonshine barrels are still barely standing by the spring. This site is also accessed from the opposite side of the campground on Ben Fly Rd or Greer Rd for the serious off roaders. 4 wheel drive may be necessary but a Hyundai car entered through the creek in 2 wheel drive. It was dry though. STAR GAZING for all 3 sites: There is a cleared area on top of a hill side for stargazing far from the city lights. CHECK IN: Check in can be as early as like if the present campers have checked out. You can always hang out elsewhere on the property and start your day to explore and hike till they leave. Just let us know in advance. And you can stay all day the day of check out but you may have to pack up and park elsewhere if other campers need the spot. If not. Stay till dark. PHOTOS: EXPAND THE PHOTOS TO A SINGLE VIEW! Some photos are of nearby attractions. You can see the description of each photo and which site is in the picture when you expand them. VEHICLE TYPE AND PARKING: In order to drive up into the campsite, you may need a 4x4 vehicle but definitely need ground clearance. If you do not have a 4x4 vehicle or ground clearance, that is okay, park in the field and bring your water shoes for campsite 2. There are stairs and usually stepping stones to cross over to Site 1. Stepping stones for site 2 are coming soon. LOCAL ACTIVITIES: 4 WHEELING!!! FISHERS OFF ROAD RENTALS https://www.fishersoffroadrentals.com/ TOUR THE AREA IN A CAN-AM: Check out 'Fisher's Off Road' to rent a really nice 4 seater CAN-AM machine. Drive around the local dirt roads for miles and learn the history of Moon Shine Alley, drive through many creeks and see some beautiful views. We took to tour with Fisher and it was a blast. This company supports the locals and cleans up the trash on the sides of the roads; a great service to the area. FISHING: https://www.fishingworks.com/tennessee/maury-tn/lake/hooker-chemical-pond-d/ 30 minutes away are 3 small lakes, or very large ponds. I think it costs $5.00. They have small boats for rent as well. FISHING, KAYAKING AND CANOEING: PINEY RIVER Canoe rental: https://www.pinewoodcanoecamp.com/ Great fishing, floating and they have camping as well. With front or 4 wheel drive a good ground clearance you can drive directly into the site or park in the field and walk down the large stone stairs and across the creek. Sometimes there are stones across the creek, but storms wash them away so bring rubber boots! There is a large stone fire pit with a heavy fold down grate for cooking surrounded by Adirondack chairs next to the creek with the spring beside it. Granite tops, a small fridge and freezer are available when it's warmer weather, charcoal grill and a large wrought iron table and chairs are in the outdoor kitchen area next to the creek as well. An off road 4x4 will get you all the way through the property. Low ground clearance will bottom out and could damage your vehicle but many cars drive through just fine but scrape the bottom sometimes. A 19' camper can also be parked in the field and plugged in for A.C. power. On a hot summer day park your chairs in the creek. The cold water is a great place to relax and cool off. Kids and adults love catching all kinds of things in the creek. No bathroom or city water, just electricity unless you choose the option to rent the 19' camper with a bathroom, indoor/outdoor showers and a kitchen. 2 bunk bends and a kitchen table fold down to queen size bed. For more privacy where you can stay up late and make a little noise, this site has a flowing 4' spring/creek that runs along the majority of the site with a few very small waterfalls. It's located in the 2nd valley in the middle of the property. The old Moonshine Stills are still there. There's a granite top for a prep table, small charcoal grill, a small wrought iron table and 4 chairs, fire ring with grate and one adirondack chair. There is no electricity but a few solar string lights.

2 Flat fairly flat areas to set up a tent. Large fire ring with 4 wrought iron chairs, a small charcoal grill and a picnic table. 120V plug and overhead string lights. The site overlooks the creek and has a spring that runs between Site 1 and Site 2. Hiking trails and a star gazing spot are great to explore. Park additional vehicles in the field. No bathroom or shower yet. Coming soon! Don't forget your portable toilet!

The 19', 2017 camper is made to look like it from the 50's. A/C and heat. Fridge, microwave, outdoor grill, kitchen sink, toilet, bathroom sink, shower, two bunk bed's and the kitchen table drops down to a queen bed. There's a Kurig coffee maker or Mr. Coffee upon request. Paper plates, silverware, coffee mugs, paper towels, toilet paper are supplied. Clean sheets, pillows and blankets for the queen bed can be supplied upon request. PLEASE call or text me at 615-three nine seven - zero - sixfourthree with questions. WOODS OR CREEKSIDE: If site one isn't booked we can block that site off for the camper rental at no extra charge. There's a 30' spring fed creek runs in front of the camper. Site 1 is across the creek and also has sites for tent's and one of the springs runs along side of Site 1 with small cascading water falls. WE CAN PARK THE CAMPER AT ANOTHER SITE BUT WOULD HAVE TO BE RUN WITH OUR GENERATOR. The battery will give you lights, hot and cold water and the propane will keep the fridge cold. The A.C. requires the generator and power to recharge the battery. Video's coming soon on our website. YOU CAN HAVE MORE THAN 4 UPON REQUEST.

We had the absolute best experience staying at Jimmy’s place on HipCamp. From the moment we arrived, Jimmy and his wife made us feel so welcomed. They truly are the definition of Southern hospitality. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and then some. Their property is honestly a hidden gem here in Tennessee. It’s one of those places you want to tell everyone about… but also keep as your own little secret at the same time 🤍 Jimmy even offered to take us out on their ATV to explore more of the property, which was such a thoughtful offer. We didn’t have enough time this trip, but it just gives us another reason to come back and we absolutely will be! This has easily been our favorite place we’ve camped so far. There are so many great aspects to this spot, and you can tell how much care they put into creating such a special experience. We’re already planning our next trip back!

We spontaneously booked this campsite on a Wednesday night, Jimmy was extremely helpful in providing detailed directions to the site and was available throughout our visit. The campsite beside the creek was perfect, our dog was in heaven running around and playing in the creek. I loved the camp kitchen area, which had a granite top counter, a table and a grill. They also have chairs at the fire ring, in case you forgot yours! Jimmy came by the site and chatted with us a few minutes, offered to get us any food, spices, gas, or anything else we would need. He insisted on bringing us some firewood, which his son delivered shortly after that. Our evening was perfect and peaceful. One of our favorite parts was getting to walk the trails on the property. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future! And just a sidenote, we are Verizon users and did not have cell service at this site but you can hike up the hill on the property and get service easily.

And Jimmy is such a great host truly, a caring person brought us firewood, even started our fire for us the first night because we got there when is was dark but again truly a hidden gem will definitely be back.

This place is amazing and one I will most definitely be returning to! A true off the road and tucked away country get away. Jimmy is an amazing, humble and generous host! He moves around on the 4 wheeler and checks in, helps with anything just a great person and the kind of guy you want to deal with.

This place was beautiful and my kids had so much fun! Jim was super nice and welcoming and even started a fire for us with a torch and bought us some marshallows, because I forgot to bring a lighter or marshallows. I highly recommend visiting!

I almost don't want to give this place a review because it was exactly what my wife and I have been looking for and I want to keep it all to ourselves haha. Ok i'll say it, this spot is perfect for a lowkey but private but not too far from civilization spot. We took a 2wd 4runner and klr650 both over the creek crossings and up the hill climb. Make sure you have good ground clearance.

Jimmy was very communicative prior to our arrival and so kind. The site was quiet and private, exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. We were given very clear instructions on how to access the rented site and plenty of dry firewood for a relaxing campfire. Jimmy and Emily are excellent hosts with a wonderful setup. If you stay here, you will feel right at home!

Jimmy and Emily's land is BEAUTIFUL! Still Hollow was as stunning and secluded. My boyfriend and I loved sleeping next to the running creek. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Jimmy was the best host. As soon as I booked with them, Jimmy was kind enough to send us a video of the site. Sadly due to the weather, we had to cut our stay short but we managed to squeeze in a hike before we left and there are so many trails to explore. We would've explored more if we stayed longer. Jimmy and Emily graciously offered to give us a tour and sadly didn't get a chance to because we left early but we definitely plan to come back to take them up on their offer! What a great stay with great hosts 1000/10.

We are just so grateful that Jimmy shares his little slice of heaven to the world! We had a perfect weekend at this site- very spacious, well-maintained and private! We easily got to it, even in an Honda accord! It was so surreal to fall asleep to the sound of the babbling creek, and wake up among the trees. Jimmy was very responsive and even checked-in to see if we needed anything. We loved exploring on the many trails connected to the site, as well as stargazing- unreal! We booked another weekend back before we even unpacked our bags, haha! If you’re looking for a woodland escape within an hour of Nashville- look no further!!!

Loved tent camping here by the creek with several tiny waterfalls. Great fire pit for cooking fires or just relaxing by the fire. Plenty of trails for hiking. My son and I loved walking in the creek looking for critters. Or just setting up a chair in the creek to relax and chat with good company while keeping cool.

This a perfect little place to set up camp! The sites by the creek are beautiful. My son enjoyed catching crawfish and minnows in the creek and I sat and read a book with my feet in the cool water. My husband loved the hiking trails! The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!

Nestled in a quaint little valley far enough fromt he main highway all you hear is the nature around you. Plenty of trails to hike or ride your atv/4x4 on. Host was very friendly will definitely be back, one of my new favorites in the area.

Cool little camp, great stream that runs through, park on one side, walk across the man made stones to the chill area. Lots of hiking and driving trails. Would stay again. Bet it's beautiful in the fall.
