Once a place where Whisky was made under prohibition, the regulators came and bashed down the stills that are still standing along the stream banks. This area was a bulwark for natives that hunted and fished along the stream banks, and there's artifacts that can still can be observed along the canyon where hikers can enjoy. Quiet and remote.
Very friendly hosts and a private spot along the driveway. Very quiet and peaceful. We used this as a base for exploring Nashville 30 mins away and it worked well. The only challenge was locating the site. GPS will not be your friend and will mislead you before you can start following the directions. It took an hour and a half to locate the site with the help of several neighbors. The roads do not have roadsigns so be sure to get detailed instructions from highway before you lose your cell signal like we did. The roads are narrow and somewhat rough but we did make it in with our 32 ft 5th wheel.

Great spot for camping just outside of Nashville! Very quiet and peaceful. The hosts are very helpful with directions.

Just the nature adventure I needed
Fantastic spot, I went out on a solo trip & had a fantastic time, Valarie is super friendly! I saw a ton of rabbits, wild turkeys, a turtle & quite a few birds, the setting really makes you feel like you're out in the wilderness, I hiked down to the creek which was super refreshing on a 90° day. 10/10 would stay again and would recommend
