Would definitely love to try here again . The spot was secluded and quiet . I met another set of campers while waiting for a response from host and they were super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I waited for 30 + minutes texting and calling the host and never got a response until the next day saying she was sick . I get things happen but a response explaining that or cancelling my reservation prior would have been so much better :/

Definitely a little remote and outside the city about 30 mins but worth the peaceful setting, quiet and private. Lovely gracious hosts!

Nice kept spot to place a tent for a night! Host was quick to respond and help with questions. Definitely will be back! The easement road is accessible by car, but i would definitely suggest a vehicle with some clearance if you aren’t used to driving gravel roads! Got to the spot in my VW golf but ended up switching out to my SUV to return for the night.

On our cross country trip, I booked this site super last minute and it was a great experience. We ended up arriving pretty late, but the host answered her phone and directed us to our site very kindly. There were some dogs in the distance that were barking most of the time, but that wasn’t super noticeable. And obviously nothing the host can do about that :)
This was a last min spot after my son & I couldn’t get up a gravel road for another campsite. We hardly had Service, we went back to a main road, I got back on hipcamp app and found this spot, paid for it and they accepted us immediately! I almost felt we were doomed for the day!! It started to rain but host was very good on letting us know to contact her once we arrived so she could give us directions to site. I was afraid of losing service so she stayed on the phone with me! Great experience for my 6 year old son’s first time camping! We loved it! Only thing misleading is the toilet. No toilet available in this area. Other than that it was a great experience! Would def come back out here again!! Beautiful spot! Awesome host. Great communication! ⛺️🪵🫶🏼

Valerie is an absolutely kind and generous person! She allowed me to camp on her property for next to nothing and have all of my dogs free to roam, off leash! I could never have afforded my Nashville vacation without her and her husband's generosity. I am truly grateful.
The only comments I have as fair warning to future campers, are things completely unrelated to the host and not in any way within their control to change. They are only informational tips:
1. There was constant barking all night from neighboring dogs. It sounded like a dog shelter was very near by.
2. The road is pretty bad in some spots for a small, low to the ground car. It requires slow and careful driving.
3. The ticks are absolutely everywhere. EVERYWHERE.
4. I could hear the neighboring camper's generator running all night long.
I accepted these inconveniences as part of an extremely affordable price, and a very flexible and easy going host. I am thankful for finding such a place to camp!

This is my 2nd time staying here, so Eye feel that says a lot. When Eye know that I’m going to be in the Nashville area and don’t want to drive all the way back home. Hands down this is where I’m going to book. Such a Beautiful reset spot to enjoy nature, star gaze & sunset. Very peaceful, secluded and safe. Home away from home.
This spot worked for what we needed- a place to lay down for the night during a road trip. We’re appreciative, however the toilet that’s listed on the site description does not exist whatsoever, which wasn’t a huge problem for us, but is pretty directly misleading. The spots aren’t labeled or particularly easy to find. We made it there alright, but the host seemed pretty weirded out when I called them to confirm we were in the right place. The fire pit was also full of trash :(
Again, fine for what it is. But the description could use an update.

Not a bad spot, remote and peaceful (mostly).
The listing should be updated. The listing says there is potable water and toilets, but the host informed me that there isn't when I got there. The creek is there but is difficult to reach, requiring hiking poles according to the host. This should be mentioned in the listing.

These host was very flexible and accommodating which i greatly appreciated!
Perfect for a short layover! The moment I arrived I heard turkeys & an owl. It was very peaceful up there!
I was able to maintain a little cell signal.
Bumpy road but I’ve seen worse. ;-)

After a long day of driving I was looking for somewhere quiet and secluded. That’s exactly what I got at this location. . The GPS got me lost and I had to cross a creek. However, while scary, it was also fun. I’d advise reaching out to them for detailed directions. Everyone was friendly and welcoming to me. They continued to check in on me throughout my stay. I didn’t get a chance to go visit, but this property is only 30 minutes or so from downtown Nashville.

Fast communication. Needed a place to stop and car camp for the night. Area Felt safe.
I rented the spot for an overnight stay as I was in town for a hockey game. The host sent me directions as gps doesn't take you to the actual house. I had to go down a mile or so of very uneven gravel road that probably wouldnt be undriveable if I hadn't had a large pickup truck. Other than that the stay was good, I got a site and got set up easily. Overall I have nothing bad to say about the site but I would definitely not book it if you drive a Honda civic as you might leave without an exhaust or other underbody components

Perfect off grid spot! Little tough to find, rough roads but close to Nashville and friendly hosts! Definitely would return.
I loved tent camping here with my husband. The hosts are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area.
Valerie suggested a good spot for my husband and I to go visit in town and no surprise there it was an awesome visit.
It is primitive camping. I believe we camped on the grass mound and it was tent friendly. If you drive a car, be careful going down the driveway as it’s a bit bumpy but accessible.
No issues with this site or host or any of the above. Very safe, private, and comfortable.
This was someone’s house VERY off the path with rough terrain, broken down vehicles, stacks of old tires, NO CELL service, and NO TRESPASSING signs EVERYWHERE!! We broke our camper on the rough roads and had to turn around. We were refunded $43 of our $57 🤷🏼♀️not sure why not a FULL REFUND?!?! This place should come with a WARNING
Beautiful area, the site worked well for what we needed it for but there wasn't a usable firepit. The 'firepit' was a pile of trash that had metal which doubled as a tripping hazard. We had to bulid our own firepit by digging through the trash for rocks. Disappointed by that since it has potential.

An off the path, secluded spot hidden deep in woods. Great host communication.
Great campsite that is secluded from the busy city of Nashville. Site owner communicated very well and the environment was very peaceful. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to camp close to the city for an extremely affordable price!

It was a little difficult to find, but once we got there, it was a pretty wooded area. We had easy access for water. There were no toilet facilities, but that was easily dealt with because of the open woods areas. Valerie and her husband were welcoming, informative, and pleasant to talk to. My friend Worth and I would definitely recommend this place to people looking for an opportunity to experience nature close to the big city of Nashville.

This space is beautiful and private. Valerie provided great directions that made it easy for us to find the spot. It feels so remote despite being so close to Nashville. Great hiking in the area with access to a stream.

If you really want to get back to nature, this is the property! Come before night fall since the roads are remote. Multiple times I could almost reach out and touch the wild turkey families & deer! Tens of thousands of old growth oak, etc. everywhere.
If you're tent camping you might hear the rooster and donkey on a distant farm across the hollow.

This was my 1st time so my nerves were on 10. Eye felt comfortable expressing this to Valerie when we talked due to her kind words of encouragement. She was very informative about where the site was, so Eye was able to go directly to it. When Eye pulled in the 1st thing that amazed me was the View. Wow! Don’t want to be a spoiler but it’s definitely a place U won’t regret. She even checked on me to make sure Eye had everything that Eye needed. Eye Appreciate that my 1st experience was there but not my last time going. Safety, Seclusion, Nature & Hospitality was my main concern. All of these areas were met with 5 Stars💜
