Communication was a 4/10. There were no camp fire rings available. It was loud due to the main highway next to all the picnic tables. The tables were way to heavy for us to be move and use as they were bunched up together. Not sure if this Hipcamp should be operable during their “off season” this is a place where you can rent canoes during the warmer seasons. We asked if we could use one of them and he told us that they all had holes in them. But when we got there. They looked fine to us. The weather was around 73-75 during that weekend.

What a hidden gem! Great open area campsite right on the river! Gorgeous foliage, plenty of shade. Cleanest port a pottys we've ever seen at a campground. We're coming back next year for sure. Cute dog park too! 111/10 would recommend.

Great host. Nice spot with river access via boat ramp. Camping area is elevated from river a bit. Lots of space. Having the Dairy Dog food truck on site was a nice luxury! Only drawback is that the whole area is grass, so the bugs are pretty thick in summer. I would definitely return and would do a kayak float next time!

Great family and pet friendly camping and kayaking spot! Staff are friendly, accommodating and go above and beyond to make a memorable and enjoyable trip. As a repeat customer, I cannot recommend Run-A-Muck enough!

It was a peaceful stay and the food truck was so convenient and delicious! The dogs, chips, tots & shakes (we sampled them all) were amazing!
We were the only campers for our stay. It wasn’t hard to find, either. I’d definitely stay again!

What a wonderful experience. Very peaceful and very quiet, the river is beautiful. If I could give 10 Stars I would. It's a great place to take the family on a nice camping trip. It's nice to be able to get away from the city life and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Great plot of land out in Adams. Probably the best spot to camp within 30 min to an hour drive. Great star gazing opportunities. Will be back any time I feel like camping around the Clarksville area.

Family and I had a great time tent camping on J’s Land. Later in the afternoon we had the field to ourselves! Our dogs ran around and we fished! Only thing I’d say is bring firewood!

The place itself is great. They have porta John’s, a dumpster, nice string lights at night if you wanted to hang out up front.
The field was great and clean and they had a fire pit at the back end of the field which is where we camped.
Our only issue was a black dog that kept chasing after my husband a night or two before we were supposed to leave. It was chasing deer at first and then locked sight on my husband. The dog wouldn’t leave him alone so he kept shouting at it to get him to leave and someone ended up hollering at him over the fence line; obscene words were said between them both.
Rather than staying in fear that out in the country they’ll come over and rob us or kill us, we left. I didn’t bother with a refund as the place itself is awesome and the first several nights were peaceful.

Awesome camp spot. Caught a fish on the river and saw several deer and 2 herons. Will definitely be back in the summer to do some kayaking.

We were delivering goods to the victims of Helene and on the way back needed a place to crash, quickly paid for it online and showed late into the night. Grass was wet from rain and didn't want to take a chance tearing the grass up. So setup in the parking lot. All went well. Left early at 7.

A great spot! Host was very attentive with a quick response to every question I had. With lots of fun stuff right around this area. Kayaking down the river, fishing, and the Port Royal Park right across the river.

Host was responsive and helpfull upon arrival. Nice shaded camp sites along the river with river access available. Fire ring was available and port a pottys were available to use on site. Close to an over pass but that noise dies down after dark and you're able to get a nice quiet night's rest. Port Royal State Park is located directly across from the property and provides lots of hiking trails. Great location, not too far from the interstate but far enough. Would definitely recommend for an overnight or extended stay with the family.

Very quiet and plenty of room to spread out! Nice open flat field across for Port Royal State Park. Bordered on one side by the Red River.

Overall not a good look. Host never answered any communications through the app and/ or via text. You are not camping on the red river. If anything you are camping on a 20-30’ bluff above the river with a restricted view. Otherwise you’re in an open field. I felt like the advertising was misleading. Booked for three nights and only stayed two. I’m sure if you just needed a place to put a canoe in and camp overnight, it wouldn’t be the worst camp in the world, but it’s not a full weekend location IMHO

This was a nice spot near the river with a decent amount of hiking to had. The campsite itself had open sky to the north for stargazing and beautiful river views to the south. We'd stay here again.
