Stella has created an incredibly sweet, thoughtful, and charming offering in her forested home just outside Williams, OR. Peaceful, serene, very clean and cozy, the Pond Studio was such a welcome place to land after a long day of driving. Horses, a sweet pup named Yarra, a wood stove and a beautiful outdoor bathtub overlooking the pond… not to mention fresh flowers on the table, a comfy bed, and a general feeling of care and sweetness about the place. Thank you, Stella, for sharing your love and welcoming others to enjoy in this way. A true blessing. Highly recommend!

Such a cozy spot, and a warm, welcoming host. We stayed for one night while passing through, but would love to come back sometime. The outdoor bath overlooking the pond was a nice way to celebrate a quiet, contemplative solstice!

Beautiful property with curated, cleaned out underbrush. Owner wants you to pee “wherever” on the property but there is actually very few places to pee in private since the yard is so well maintained. Would be much nicer to have a private pee area.
The main house is RIGHT next to the cabin (which has no curtains for changing or having private time with your partner). The option of curtains would have been appreciated.
The cabin is super cute but no kitchen towels or paper towels and very little cookware. If you’re planning on preparing your own meals, bring your own supplies, spices, pans, spatulas, etc.
Bed was comfy, space was warm, the tub area was super cute!
Host interaction on the app was friendly and responsive.

What a sweet little cabin! Very comfortable bed and sitting area. Functional kitchen. The outdoor bathtub was the highlight! Bathroom wasn’t too far away and clean. Lovely host.

We loved spending a night on Stella's land. The cabin was well equipped and set up, and her land is so beautiful. She's thoughtfully designed and decorated the cabin; it's very cozy and functional. The outdoor tub/shower was an amazing experience.
There's a lot to do and explore in the area, and it was just a lovely time all around. Stella is so kind, thoughtful and a really wonderful host. If you are looking for a great down to earth experience in the Apple Gate Valley, I highly recommend staying here. We can't wait to go back. Thanks for having us Stella!

At night the little cabin was delightful aesthetically. The kitchen was great. But sleeping was challenging. The bed is short for someone over 6'3" and it was a hot night so we slept with a noisy window A/C blowing on us. If we'd stayed another night we'd have rolled out our camping mattress and slept in the yurt (where we did our yoga practice in the morning). That would have been lovely, but likely hot too. There were lots of big screen windows in the yurt which could have allowed for plenty of cross ventilation. We loved the semi outdoor bath.

Stella has such a beautiful, peaceful place out here. The cabin is so cozy and had the most comfortable bed - I had a hard time getting up in the mornings! The kitchen is well stocked and ready for cooking, and the outside bathtub/shower was so relaxing!! The whole place was very clean. Stella was communicative and super friendly and sent directions that made check in very easy. Thanks again!!

Sweetgrass Cabin
This little cabin was incredible! Not only was it sparkling clean and comfortable, the property was serene and rejuvenating. Whether you’re religious, spiritual, or just looking for some peace, this is the place to find it!
Stella was very welcoming and responsive to messages. She made us feel right at home. The dog, Yara, was a joy to have around.
Honestly cannot say enough good things about this place, it’s a must stay!

This was the first place I’ve booked on Hipcamp and it was superb. The pond studio was super cute and a whole vibe to stay in. We did a quick in and out stay but it was still an amazing experience. I loved the outdoor tub! The toilet was different yet but it was an awesome learning experience for me! (Host explains what they do and how it works in her room instructions.)
Stella communicated with me the whole time and was a wonderful and helpful host. She went above and beyond. Even her instructions inside the studio were helpful and even educational lol.
I hope I can stay here again someday! The tub by the studio isn’t the big round one in the pictures, that’s a different cabin. The studio has a smaller tub… I don’t believe it fills up. But it was totally still magical to use!

Stella’s land is peaceful and beautiful. The studio felt safe and cozy and the back deck was a wonderful treat. I felt calm and at peace. I would highly suggest this to anyone looking for a personal retreat.

The Pond was exactly what was pictured. It’s a converted garage bay that was cozy and had everything you need. The back door led to a covered porch with seating and the outdoor bathroom overlooking a small pond that was bustling with bullfrogs and birds.

The Sweetgrass cabin was everything we had hoped, and honestly more. Highlights include: the outdoor tub, the cute picnic table, the surprisingly well-equipped kitchen, the comfortable bed, the compost toilet, the couch, even the reading material provided in the cabin was wonderful! And Yara the wonderful wolf pup was a lovely companion when we wandered the grounds in the early morning. Everything was the perfect blend of functional, well-explained, and intentionally crafted.

The Pond Studio was exactly what I was looking for and needed as a break from the road. Secluded, quaint, cozy...Outdoor shower and commode overlooking the pond were unique features I really enjoyed taking advantage of. Super friendly dog always a bonus. Horses nearby. It was pastoral and lovely and I would stay here again!

A wonderful little space - comfy for 4 people (2 in a shared bed, one couch, and one outdoor bed). We loved listening to the bullfrogs at sunset and had a nice chat with Stella who made us feel welcome and comfy. Definitely would like to come back!

The Pond Studio was just what I needed. I was serene and calming. I especially loved the serenade by the bullfrogs in the pond. Stella was a great host. She is kind and welcoming and has a wonderful canine companion. I liked his/her visits.
I didn't want to leave. But, when I got back home, I felt very rejuvenated.

Stella’s land is very beautiful. The cabin is very sweet indeed and is exactly what we needed for a little R&R that gave us more than camping yet costs less than a hotel. The amenities were exactly as described and honestly better than expected. The tub had hot running water and a removable shower head. Everything felt clean and cozy. We were there for a wedding so didn’t have much down time, but would definitely stay again and just to lay in sun, read, or explore the garden. It was rustic and as long as you are okay with a dry outhouse and otherwise going outside the stay will be nothing short of lovely. P.S. the dogs on the property were a total bonus and so sweet to spend time with!

Enjoyed the cute, cozy little cabin, surrounded by nature. Perfect for some rest, meditation and connection with nature. Rejuvenation happened. Stella was a kind, unobtrusive presence--checked in to see that I had what I needed.

It was very cute and cozy. The photos made it seem a bit bigger and nicer than it actually was. The host was very helpful and accessible. The soaking tub was amazing, had very hot water and was spacious.

Wonderful vibes, extremely peaceful and quiet. The cabin itself is well equipped and cute. The outdoor covered tub is one of the main highlights for me, my lover and I spent literally 12+ hours in there over the course of two days. Splendid. The temple yurt is lovely, great place to do movement practices.
Stella herself is a sweet and genuine human being who has cultivated a beautiful relationship with her land.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: Yara the wolf dog is a perfect and gentle angel. I love her. She appeared suddenly and proceeded to shake our hands and give us licks. Truly what an astonishingly extraordinary animal. So good to meet her.
Overall great experience. I think due to the heating situation in the cabin I probably wouldn’t stay in winter, but otherwise awesome.

I had a rejuvenating and relaxing time in the Sweetgrass Cabin. The cabin was cozy and thoughtfully decorated, the little heater kept it warm during the chilly nights and the bed was very comfortable. Stella was a fantastic host and her tips on local trails and places to eat made my experience in Williams especially memorable. Her pup Yara was really friendly and came by the cabin a few times to say hello and ask for pets and belly rubs. Stella’s land is beautiful, with large oak and pine trees, especially in spring with everything green and views of mountains still capped with snow. I spent four nights here and would definitely return for another stay at Sweetgrass Cabin.

I came out to this space for healing, grieving, and rejuvenating and that’s exactly what the space allowed me to do. The cabin was rustic, charming, safe, and magical. Stella was an attentive host and the frog song at the pond was soothing and enchanting. My favorite hipcamp stay so far! I had such a great time I extended my stay, even despite some smoke from nearby fires! The space was beautiful and Stella was an amazing host. It’s equipped with all the essentials and the sweetest pup to greet you upon your arrival. Close to some great swimming spots and adventures but also great for winding down & finding grounding. Can’t wait to visit again!
