Cedar Bloom was purchased in the spring of 2017 by Spirit Weavers Gathering as a place of peace and healing, for all walks of life. Spirit Weavers is an annual women's gathering which happens once a year each June. We host over 1,200 women in just two weeks on the land. Our beautiful forested land is located in Southern Oregon, in a small town off the 199 Redwood Highway. The land which we call home is 100 acres of beautiful protected forest and sits upon a mile of the Illinois River. We are very fortunate to be surrounded by a widely diverse population of flora and fauna. As caretakers of this sacred land, we feel a strong responsibility to honor our plant and animal allies by not only protecting them and their habitat, but also to help educate others about what lives and grows here by providing people with opportunities to experience the beauty of these plants and animals for themselves. For this reason, We are honored to host the many different groups who will gather here on this land for learning and communing with the nature that flourishes here. We feel very fortunate to be involved in this process of helping promote a sustainable and abundant future for all living things on this planet by sharing knowledge and skills from the human past that can make a sustainable lifestyle a reality for everyone everywhere. This is our home and we are happy to share it with you!

Magic

Cedar Bloom is a beautiful oasis and the perfect get away. The cabins are adorable, river access and walking paths are healing, and incredible outdoor shower are just a few highlights.

A Magical Stay at Cedar Bloom

We stayed in one of the domes at Cedar Bloom in May, and it was absolutely beautiful. The dome itself was cozy, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed — we had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. The land is truly stunning. Nestled in nature, peaceful and serene, it felt like a retreat from the world. Even though the river was chilly, we couldn’t resist a refreshing cold plunge — totally worth it! The common kitchen was a highlight. It has everything you need, from a Vitamix for smoothies to all the essentials for making avocado toast and more. It felt like a home away from home, but with the added magic of being surrounded by nature. It was quiet, calming, and the perfect place to unplug. My kids felt free and safe to explore the area, which made the experience even more special for our family. We left feeling recharged and connected — to each other and to the land. Highly recommend Cedar Bloom for anyone looking for beauty, comfort, and a little bit of magic in Southern Oregon.

The land is so serene with deer and turkeys in abundance. The hot tub is beyond worth it! And being able to get out and meditate on the deck is amazing. Thank you to Amy for our fantastic stay! We are so grateful and can't wait to return.

Such a beautiful place, and they’ve really thought of everything!! Tea house, sauna, river access, tons of cute little touches to the property that makes it so special. We stayed in the dome, which was incredible. The acoustics are amazing and they have a synthesizer in there so you can make your own music!! Amy met us and showed us around, prepared our hot tub session, and was just so nice and helpful. There are two cute little kitties who are very friendly and roam the flower covered property. Truly a dream!!!

This dome is such an amazing structure and we loved staying here! Our kids thought the indoor hammock was the coolest thing ever along with the unique piano. We were glad for the wood stove during some chilly nights.

Peaceful night in the dome

Very peaceful stay along the river. We only stayed one night, so I can’t wait to visit the land again someday and spend more time! Love swimming in the river here!

Sleeping with the river sounds!!

This was our second visit - the first had been in the dead of heat, August, and we LOVED it, and had planned to come back during winter/early spring on purpose. We wanted to see this most amazing river, and the gorgeous trees and landscape again. Last time we camped (Tent), and this time we went with the Forest Gnome Yurt due to the season. We just loved it with the amazing windows and stars. The ability to fall asleep and wake up with the sounds of the river, the birds, the other fox/turkey/whatever noises, was awesome. My husband joked that I didn't need my normal "fall asleep" apps as we were living it. Great site. The tea room and the kitchen are great. We didn't have time for the sauna this trip, though my husband gleefully caught (and returned) a lovely trout in the early morning. We will be back!

We stopped here on a roadtrip through Oregon and it exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful and very quiet. The sauna and the shower that overlook the river were very relaxing. We will definitely be back!

Cedar Bloom offered a peace I didn't realize I was missing. Sam and Amy were incredibly kind and helpful. The shower house overlooking a river felt like a spa. The land was beyond gorgeous. I can't truly put it into words, you just need to experience it yourself.

Cedar Bloom is a fantastic retreat! Close to plenty of things you might want to go do, but we would have loved to have just a day on the property as well. The sauna is awesome, and we hope to try out the wood-fired hot tub next time we stay. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful cedar bloom Hipcamp and Samantha was a gracious and courteous host. Although our stay was brief and thus didn’t get a chance to use the many amenities (sauna, wood-fired hot tub, languishing in the tea room, and no river swim as still a bit cold in mid April for such!), would definitively return and plan a longer stay to enjoy. A unique and wonderful experience!

Gnome Dome

My partner and I were heading down to California from Bend and made a little detour to stay at Cedar Bloom. It was the perfect place to find some rest and relaxation with beautiful meadows surrounding us in every direction. The distant sounds of the river mixed with the wildlife around us made it a very worthy stop. We wish we would have stayed longer to experience a bit more like the showers looking over the river and the sauna. Would highly recommend!

This is a magical space! Dispersed camping in a few beautiful meadows. The outdoor shower is gorgeous and the sauna is such a lovely perk. Having the tea house and kitchen really elevates this stay, it feels like a peaceful retreat space more than camping. You can tell they really put their heart and energy into the land.

Not Ideal for Off-Season Stays

We stayed here during the off-season and unfortunately wouldn’t recommend it at this time of year. We had a security concern that went unaddressed, which left us anxious the entire stay—especially worrying about our dog getting out. The listing describes it as off-grid, but there are large power lines running through the property, which takes away from the secluded, natural vibe we were hoping for. Also, the photos on the listing seem quite outdated. If you’re planning to create content or are looking for a scenic, curated setup, this may not be the right spot. Overall, it was fine but I would just stay in my car next time instead of paying full price for a cabin where we didn’t get much sleep and couldn’t make any new content.

Beautiful and cozy

The space is so beautiful and peaceful - we felt well cared for by the staff on site but had plenty of privacy. The dome is spacious, the bed is so comfortable, and the whole property feels super safe and tranquil.

It was a cool space. Bathrooms were clean and the amenities were great. The campground wasn’t crowded at all when we were there which was especially nice and the property cat was very cute. I’d stay there again

My friend and I had a wonderful stay- despite it being cold and rainy, we were able to feel cozy. We returned from a day of hiking in the redwoods and Mea was wonderful about coordinating so the hot tub and sauna were all warmed up when we got back. She also gave us extra towels to keep the floor (and all of us) dry with the rain. It was my first time bringing my puppy/teen dog on a “camping trip” and this was a good way to ease her into it and keep her comfortable! Very kind and thoughtful people on the property. I would definitely recommend staying! We all felt very safe here.

Sleepytime in the rain.

This park is very spacious and clean, full of vibrant energy. The tea lounge and river were highlights for me. This is a great place to catch some zzzs under a tree. It’s raining on my tent here now at the end of March, with patches of sunshine and warm weather in between. Zzzzzzzzz…

Peaceful family adventures

It was absolutely stunning, we walked all over the property. It was peaceful and there were beautiful treasures to see everywhere you looked, from crystals to sitting areas. The bathhouse was magical.
