This is a small working hobby farm, near the site of a historic park-George Rogers. The 1/2 mile trails are flat and clean but may have limbs or tree nuts on the ground. We have chickens which provide fresh eggs as available if you are interested for a small fee, and split firewood that is very reasonably priced, purchase at arrival. We will have bonfires as weather permits, also you can rent a large private camp fire site just for the evening. Sites are wheel chair accessible, but the trails are earth, not paved. All sites are walk-in, not able to park cars next to the camp site, I will help with out with my UTV if you have lots of gear. Learn more about this land: Separated sites (you will not see your neighbor campers) for tents/hammocks, each has a fire ring, some sites have picnic tables most have spool tables. Sites can accommodate 1-2 tents, and/or 2-4 hammocks. Have a rally site where larger groups can tent camp. Have private dirt hiking trails on site with many nearby county and state parks for more adventure. Canoe and kayak livery 1 mile away. Young’s dairy, Yellow Springs, 1800’s Carriage Hill a working Farm, Air Force Museum, Brandeberry Winery, and the Melody family restaurant are near. Have a port a potty on sight, parking is near the entrance to woods. Plenty of wood on the ground near sites, or can provide split wood for a small fee. More than 4 persons per site will be an additional fee $3 per person. Check in times after 3:00 PM (text if you will arrive sooner), (please no check-ins after dark* let me know if you will be), Check out is 1:00 PM, you can texted if you need another arrangement. * We now offer a 7 person tents as available and chairs for rent.

Mighty Oak

A wonderful stay

We loved our stay at Mighty Oak! The chickens and roosters are so cute! The bonfire area is comfortable. The campsite was perfect for 4 and 2 dogs. Alan was a great host who provides firewood, eggs, wagons to transport your things and the cleanest port a potty I have ever seen. Seriously. Other campers were respectful and the quiet hours were observed. We were looking for a quiet, low key getaway and this exceeded expectations. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

K9 Cove

It felt private and secluded and we were in a wooded area with a defined path and it was so great and relaxing. There was also the option to buy firewood as well as eggs from their chickens, which was so amazing!! It’s a great spot and we were a short trip to yellow springs, would definitely book here again.

Thanks for our stay!

Campsite was super easy to find, the trails are clear. Porta potty wasn’t the cleanest and also had lots of spiders in it. Farm fresh eggs in the mornings were delicious! Our Fourth of July weekend was wonderful, we would love to come back another time!
