Beyond expectations, best way to sum up our stay. Katherine was a great host, the animals were a blast, property was refreshing and pretty. She was flexible with our 2 cars from different states, 4 unruly dudes that loved camping with Unruly Goats. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway or just a night out of the house.

This was such a unique experience! A twist on camping, just added some new fury friends to your camp site! Very chill experience overall and was nice to have the fire pit at night.

Holy smokes! What an incredible experience. My son had the best time. We got to witness the reason it’s called “unruly goat farm” when we went to say good morning to the goats and the two that we called “our babies” slipped through the bars to come play with us.

This was a good camp site for what I needed. Katherine gave me three choices for where to put my camper. There is a big field that had lots of privacy. There were lots of goats and cats roaming around.

Katherine has some of the most friendly farm animals everrr!! The dogs layed outside our tent all night protecting us and the cats wanted nothing but cuddles and lovin. She was such a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable, would absolutely camp out here again!

Katherine is a gracious host. Her animals are abundant. I was able to hold a baby lamb born that very morning. He literally folder up right in my arms like a rag doll and cuddled right into my neck for a photo.
If you are tent camping here you will have the sites shown in the photos. Just be aware that if you are in an RV or travel trailer that you will be in a gravel driveway next to animal pens and dogs who protect the flock at night (barking) fending off coyotes. May not be the most restful sleep (wasn’t for me) and you also will track lots of animal dung into your camper - have scratchy mats outside your entry doors.

We set out on a camping adventure to entertain a four year-old and have her experience camping for the first time. Boy, did she ever get a first time experience. Our time at the unruly goat farm was truly awesome for anyone who’s an absolute animal lover like Katherine. We were greeted and shown our spot and given a quick rundown of the farm and the animals were introduced by name. She has such great names for all of her animals and they have great friendly personalities. Everyone loved it so much they’re talking about coming back again very soon. Tip: if you want any of your food to survive around the campfire, please bring cat food. When the barn cats are fed, everybody’s happy and calm and chill.

Van had a shady spot to keep cool. Beautiful spot and mellow animals about. Keep your eye out for the sheep, they may need redirected. Would def stay again!

Katherine is such a gracious and welcoming host, and her farm is truly special! You can immediately feel the heart and soul that she puts in to her work. I have already recommended this campsite to family, and I plan to stay again as well.
We really enjoyed the interactions with the all of the curious animals. Cats and dogs and chickens and goats all came to greet us, and hung out at our campsite. They are calm and comfortable around people, and the close interactions really made our stay memorable.
Thank you Katherine for all the work that you do!
I absolutely recommend this camp site to adults and families.

Katherine was a wonderful host and we had a wonderful time hanging out with all of the animals. Goats, ducks, chickens, turkeys, cats, and even two beautiful big dogs. It was a great getaway and we'd definitely consider going back. Katherine greeted us and just kind of let us do our thing which was perfect for us.
Important notes for other campers: they have non-potable well-water available so bring a filter if you do not have access to clean water. Also, make sure to put away your food and goods. You're on a farm! Animals love thieving!

Katherine was a great host, very friendly. We loved being surrounded by all the animals. One of the cats slept with my friend in her each night, I was so jealous. She said she hadn't slept that well in months. Definitely do the goat yoga.

Owner was amazing, super friendly. The goats, lambs, and cats all came by to check my tent setup, see what’s for dinner, and give me a send off in the morning. Would definitely stay here again!

The overall camping experience is a great unique experience. My daughter loved feeding the baby goats. The camp site is right next to the road of the property. We did love the chickens and roosters and all the animals.
If you do go camping here please bring food for the barn cats. Many of them are very skinny and very hungry. We had many of them trying to take the food while we were cooking dinner.
I brought a couple cans of food and they inhaled the food without even chewing they were so hungry.
One of the black cats looks like it may lose his eye and is in need of Terramycin and a vet visit. I would recommend picking up some meds at tractor supply for the kittty. Another cat i believe the cats name is maxwell, he was malnourished and had bloody sores on his back end. He looks like he needs a visit to a vet asap. I can only imagine the financial burden to take care of 30 cats on the farm. I think they may need to increase the daily cat food they put out for the cats. If i were to rate it i would give it 4 out if 5 stars.

HIGHLY encourage you to take a leap of faith and camp with the unruly goats. Not only are there unruly goats, but get ready to be welcomed by 30 cats, 2 beautiful dogs, countless fireflies, and wonder human beings. I know what you’re thinking: farm. But trust me when I say this is the best farm camping experience one could hope for. Katherine was such an amazing host and an incredibly inspiring person doing huge ethical advances in the farming industry. With that, ask about goat yoga and get to meet Kenough- the most beautiful baby goat who is so good at farm. Bring all your friends and family and enjoy the beauty of the farm life.
