Bring your own campervan or stay in one of ours -- enjoy swimming, paddling, and tubing on the river, or hiking and mountain biking through our trails. We're located in rural, outdoorsy South Jersey, and while our property is only 1 acre, we're surrounded by trails, trees, and right on a National Wild and Scenic River. During the warmer months, the Great Egg Harbor River is one of the best birding spots in the U.S., and is fantastic for kayaking, river tubing, and fishing. You'll be able to use our rope swing, star-gaze while laying on the 6-person hammock, and cook on the fire pit. We're also walking distance from miles and miles of hiking, mountain biking, ATV-ing, and horseback riding trails for adventurous afternoons. Drop in your kayak at Penny Pot park and kayak straight our property, or leave from our dock and get picked up 5 miles down at Weymouth park. Spend an hour tubing down our river and walk right back to camp with a 15 minute walk in the woods, then do it all over again! The town of Hammonton (the "Blueberry Capital of The World") is just 15 minutes away, and has a super cute downtown where you can find awesome shops, restaurants, wineries and breweries. The beaches in Atlantic City are only 30 minutes out, and Philadelphia is 45 minutes by car or 1 hour by train. Local grocers like Bagliani's, or large stores like Walmart and Shoprite are located within a 10-15 minute drive. Gas stations, a WaWa, and three restaurants can be found within a 5-8 minute drive. Experience a relaxing weekend out in the woods and by the water, while staying close to amenities and other fun outings. If you bring your own Van, Schoolie, Trailaer, or mid-sized RV, we have 30amp and 15amp hookups available in our driveway. All trash brought into or created on site must be packed out when you leave.

This fenced in site is perfect for people with pets since it's fenced in. There's a couple of sandy areas, and a few flat patches to place your tent. It also has it's own private firepit where you can cook with hardwood, lump charcoal, or wood pellets. This site is closest to the bathroom and shower, and has access to the river via the main deck.

Bring Your Own Van, Camper, Schoolie, Trailer, or RV. Park on our driveway next to the 15 & 30-amp hookups, and spend time swimming and paddling on the river and trails. Vans smaller than 22 feet that don't need electric hookups may opt for the private fenced in area close to the restrooms instead of parking on the driveway, as long as it's not already booked.

Curious about vanlife? Come spend a weekend down by the river and test it out. You'll be staying in one of our fully decked out camper vans, with access to our deck, our dock, and a crackling fire pit just steps away. *LOCATION* We're located in outdoorsy South Jersey, and while our property is only 1 acre, we're surrounded by trails, trees, and right on a National Wild and Scenic River. The Great Egg Harbor River is one of the best birding spots in the U.S., and is fantastic for kayaking, river tubing, and fishing. You'll be able to use our rope swing, star-gaze while laying on the 6-person hammock, flex your ping pong skills, and cook on the fire pit. We're also walking distance from miles and miles of hiking, mountain biking, ATV-ing, and horseback riding trails for adventurous afternoons. While our place has the feel of a treehouse in the woods, we do have two neighbors nearby, one of which can be seen from the dock and one from the driveway, where the van is parked. For courtesy, there are quiet hours in place (11pm-7am on weekends & 10pm-7am on weekdays). As conscious vanlifers, we expect you to pack-out all waste you brought with you, to leave everything as you found it, and to treat the neighborhood and our home with love and respect. *VANLIFE EXPERIENCE* For the full Vanlife Experience take a look at some of our add-ons, which include nights off-site at a local organic farm, build lessons, and test drives. We've spent 4+ years living in and converting camper vans, and we're excited to share our knowledge with you. Learn first-hand about everyday vanlife tasks like refilling water, sanitizing water lines, taking care of your waste, troubleshooting diesel heaters, managing electrical consumption, and finding spots to spend the night. This experience helps you take that next step and find out if vanlife is for you -- before you spend thousands of dollars on your own build. *ACCOMMODATIONS* You'll be staying in a fully decked out campervan, which includes 1 full size and 1 queen bed, a closet, an outdoor shower, a sink with running water, a small fridge and freezer, a two-burner stove, and an overhead fan to keep you cool. You'll also have full use of a private indoor bathroom with a flushing toilet. Basic cookware, 4 plates and utensils are provided, but you must bring your own sheets, blankets, and sleeping bags. The top bed is closest to a Full, and the bottom bed is closest to a Queen. If you have difficulty lifting heavy things or jumping, we recommend you use the bottom bed. We'll provide cleaning supplies so you can clean the firepit, dishes and campervan to the state you found it in. If you leave without without cleaning properly or packing out any trash you brought with you, an additional cleaning fee will apply at our discretion.

Feels very private even though you're right up against the house. Ground is sandy and mossy in spots... some of our stakes pulled out easily, so maybe bring sandbags/weights if heavy wind is expected. Otherwise there are a few trees around to tie off to. BRING BUG SPRAY! You're not roughing it, but you're in the woods. Tatiana went above and beyond as a host by providing detailed advice on EVERYTHING in the area and offering to shift our date when the weather was not in our favor. Highly recommend visiting the sunflower farm nearby, just make sure to put your cut flowers in by the bathroom. Ours did not do well in the heat outside with us. A very pleasant stay.

There was some problems with Hipcamp's system in regards to my booking so when I arrived there were already some other campers there and the host was not expecting us - however Tatiana was incredibly accommodating and even allowed us to stay in the camper van on site since there was not a tent site available. The whole property is lovely and the indoor spa was fantastic, there was even a really neat exercise machine in there my partner was very excited about. Very accepting and friendly vibes, I'd absolutely stay again given the opportunity.

We loved our first van experience. Do yourself a favor and look at the add-ons—you won’t be disappointed. We wish we had a few more days to check out more of the area’s recreation, breweries, and farm stands. Save yourself down time though to just hang out at the van.

We had such a nice time. The van was amazing, and so was the views of the backyard over looking the river. We we able to bring our dog, who enjoyed the hiking trails near the van. Tatiana was so helpful and made suggestions of local restaurants and activities in the area. We ended up going sunflower picking, per Tatiana’s suggestion. We will definitely visit again

Tatiana’s space was absolutely stunning and so peaceful. She welcomed us when she arrived and showed us around the property and we felt totally safe and relaxed. Camping space was perfect with riverfront access and all the tools necessary for cooking over the fire. 10/10 would recommend

Super fun stay in a uniquely renovated camper van. We had all the amenities we needed and the host was super responsive and helpful. It was the perfect space for our family of three to chill, cook, watch movies, play cards, and have a fire.

Amazing Van Life Experience!

Vanlife By The River

Tati has done a lot of research and a lot of work into making the van livable, and it shows. Despite the small size, there’s storage to spare, plenty of counter space for your cooking needs, and the bunk bed was cozy and comfy. We had access to a large deck with a fire pit that overlooked the stream and dock, as well as the side of the house that had a more private fire pit. We did the goat visitation add on, which was incredible. It’s much more than goats — Tati’s friends have a homestead with chickens, horses, goats, and several acres of forested land, with a trail through parts of it. Her friends were incredibly sweet and talked about the homesteading lifestyle and how they got started. Tati was an amazing host, and provided anything we might need, from inter-tubes for the stream to a can opener, she was always ready to help fill a need. We talked quite a bit about van life, and she gave tips and resources, and was great company when we invited her for s’mores. Otherwise, she gave us privacy and it felt like a retreat. Though it’s close to a main road, the property is so quiet. I maybe saw two cars drive by in our four day stay, and only saw the neighbor once. There’s plenty of hiking nearby, and the beach is only a 30 minute drive away. Whether you’re interested in van life and want to know more, or just want a quiet, unique weekend away that’s a few steps up from camping, I couldn’t recommend Tati’s van retreat more.

This was a perfect spot to stay overnight for a trip! Tatiana is very helpful and super sweet, and the property is beautiful! Nice space to park for car camping or to set up a tent and lots of areas to hang out in the back. We loved the six person hammock and the dock, especially in the evening. The private bathroom was very convenient to have as well. Would 100% stay here again!

fun riverside van life vacation

Vanlife By The River

We loved staying in Tati's van for the weekend. We took the train from Philly which cost $6 each + a $20 uber from the train and took about 2 hours total. The van is well stocked with cooking utensils, pans, and spices. The van has a good sized range and mini fridge + freezer which made planning for food easy. The bed is heavy but can raised/lowered pretty easily with 2 people and is big and comfy. We also cooked over the fire pit which comes with a bunch of tools for cooking and tending the fire. Tati is a wonderful host and taught us a lot about van life. The backyard is incredible with a beautiful view down the river, huge hammock, and large clean deck. The river is perfect for swimming. The water is cool but not freezing and the bottom is silty and soft with few rocks. We spent most of our time hanging out by the river but also went for a short and pretty hike that is accessible on foot. We plan to come back!
