We got there after the store closed. There weren't any instructions for after-hours check ins. I had left a message through Hipcamp, as well as called the number and received zero feedback. The place appeared deserted and was pitch black, other than the headlights of our RV. We ambled around and eventually found our site and hooked up. In the morning, I wanted to let the store person know we were there. The man inside only said "oh you signed up through Hipcamp, okay". If you have horses (they have stalls) or dogs that don't do well in crowded campsites, or just like a place all to yourself, this place is for you. It's weedy and overgrown so be sure you have bug spray. The gas prices were very reasonable, considering it was out in the boonies.

Flying W campsites in Jadwin, MO
Joshua was an excellent host. He brought our firewood to us at our campsite after he closed up shop for the evening and visited with us a bit.
The showers are free and clean and for me, that says a lot for a campsite. With a gas pump and a convenience store, you couldn’t ask for much more except maybe kick some rocks out of the campsites.

The grounds are beautiful and level. Restrooms and hot showers pristine! Joshua and family are courteous and friendly. Loved that I could get gasoline there before heading out. I will definitely be back soon! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

It’s was alright.
So first off the place is alright. The map the show you on HipCamp is not really how the place is. At the actual location there sites are way closer than they show on the HipCamp map. They say there’s WiFi but that’s false you can barely get service. They mention horses but there’s no horses you can ride that I asked about. There some sites that need touch ups and cleaned out. It’s really hard to sleep with a tent when the location is fully of many exposed rocks and on a hill. Some pros are that the showers and rest rooms are pretty kept up well with and the gas station store they have has some good prices on things.
