Meadows 1
Serenity & Solitude!
This place is a hidden gem! If you are looking for privacy and a peaceful space to camp, this is it. Relax next to the fire, or hike and explore the 20+ acres. Awesome sunsets, and once the sun sets you have a sky full of stars.
Brian was such an accommodating and frendly host. We originally booked Meadows 1 site, but ended up moving to Meadows 2 because it was a bigger site for our group. We had a campervan, truck camper, and tent camper at our site. Brian also gave us a tour of the property, and he provides a big bundle of firewood for each site to start with, which was a nice treat. After touring the other camp sites, I really liked the Terace site. Very shady cool spot in the woods. I'll be camping there next time.
Camping here is primitive, but they do provide a nice porta potty with a hand wash station for guests.
All in all we had a great camping experience! Will definitely be back once the leaves change colors!

Terrace 2
shady campsite with meadow view
Awesome campsite perched above a meadow and across a quiet road from a creek. It’s flat and shady, set in mature woodlands. It’s up a short steep hill from parking (people with 4x4 could drive in). Brian’s a great host, providing some free firewood to start. Though he offers a portajohn by his barn (a good walk away), it’s basically a remote site. So bring your own water and be prepared for woodsy solitude, Indiana style.

Meadows 1
Peaceful
Serenity Now Hipcamp property is appropriately named. Primitive camping at it's best in a beautiful rustic setting. Our 2 night stay in the Meadows site was quiet, peaceful, set in among tall grasses, wildflowers and sweet clover. The site was at the base of a wooded hill which provided late afternoon shade. There were signs of deer bedding down in the meadow, but unfortunately, we did not see any deer. Brian, the, host, was very friendly and accommodating. The property is clean and well maintained. There is a small stream across the road perfect for wading. Hiking throughout the property is easy to moderate and is well marked. A generous bundle of firewood was already at our site when we arrived. The portalet was very clean. We found the campsite easy to access. Serenity Now is calling for our return. And we will.
