Disappointed that the electrical hook-up was 40 feet away, only 1 hook-up available and only a 50amp so we couldn't have power. Not sure if it would have had any power to it anyway since there wasn't any power in the building it was connected to. Beer and wine were great though and vineyard is beautiful!

I loved my stay at the winery—it was so cool to see everything. The bathrooms are nice and clean and just off from the camping area. The only other campers my night were in RVs, so I had plenty of space to myself. I even showed up at the tail end of a music performance, and the staff stayed a few minutes longer for me to finish my wine tasting. Other staff chatted with me about the history of the site and I walked around to the wedding set-up as well. If you’re interested in a fun experience (change of pace from normal camping = local wine!), friendly folks, and a beautiful sunset view over a vineyard, I cannot recommend this enough!

What a beautiful setting, so peaceful and quiet. We set up the RV and our chairs and relaxed after a stressful drive and watched a large hawk in a tree above our heads. Very nice- thank you so much!

Would have liked to have 30 amp plug in for ourAC but we made do with just what we had for power.
The grounds are pleasant and you park at top of the hill overlooking the vineyard! Spectacular sunset!

We had a wonderful trip 4th of July weekend. This is the second year we've stayed here and have had a great time. The fields are clean, and the wine is wonderful (love the dry white wine).

The camping and grounds were fine. We had an electric plug but the restrooms at the facility were locked. The whole place was booked for parties and the closed at 7:00. The wine was just ok. They have no food except charcuterie boards. I paid $30.00 to camp through HIPCAMP not a good do.

Although it had rained all day, we had a moment to set up camp in some sunshine before sunset (another rainstorm during the night). We ended up car camping instead of tenting, but we were able to put most of our stuff under the winery’s event tent to keep it dry. The sunset was beautiful and we ended up pooling food with other campers to enjoy an evening of food, wine, and games surrounded by the beautiful grounds. Will definitely stay there again!!

Beautiful location! Easy access, well lit and safe. I was traveling alone in our Class A motor home and felt extremely secure. I ordered the small charcuterie board and it was perfect. I would love to return during growing season.

When we arrived we realized this “campsite” was in a parking lot with a train running behind it. The toilets were locked, there was no water hookup and we were told we could not have a campfire. These things were advertised on the Hipcamp listing! We may as well have been at Walmart, therefore we did not stay. *update* we did complain and the host did refund 50% of the stay.

Todd was wonderful. There was a snafu with our our arrival. Todd was extra kind and had someone meet us at the gate after hours. The property is gorgeous and I felt very safe.

We tent camped and it made for an awkward trip. This place is a winery; it is not set up for camping. So, imagine going to a random winery, and then imagine trying to find a place to pitch a tent. That’s what this was. If you’re traveling and need a place to pitch a tent, this is fine. But if you’re “going camping” for a weekend, this is not the place. There were only really two flat areas: one was in the middle of a grassy field and the other was right next to the tasting room. The whole time I felt like we were just camping in the middle of someone’s yard. We had to bring our own fire ring. The RV campers were parked in the parking lot like at a Walmart. Bathroom was open all night, but the water smelled like pure sulfur so we didn’t trust using it.

The scenery and atmosphere was great. The owner and workers were friendly making the 3 day stay a great experience. Only issue is there is only one spot in the top parking lot for both water and water. We were the first to setup and had both the water and electric. Our review is based on that perspective

Great place for 1 night stop. When we arrived it was hot and humid so of we needed electric for air conditioner. There were numerous outlets and we also had water hook up. We parked by event tent so had our own personal shaded dinner table. Of course there was not an event. Todd was very helpful and responded to all my questions about camping at the winery. We never met Todd but enjoyed our 1 night and would definitely stop there again.

We had a great stay at Chateau De Pique. Todd was away so we didn't meet him but everyone connected with the winery that we talked to were very pleasant and helpful. And the site next to the bathrooms is very level for even big rigs. One important note - if you are plugging into the 50 amp electric, it is located on the wall of the bathrooms building. Also, it is a fair distance away from the parking lot where you park, so bring a 50 amp extension cord to reach. We also found that the plug was not on when we arrived so we checked the electric panel on the outside wall around the corner and it showed that the plug's breaker was on although it didn't work. Eventually one of the winery employees found that a second panel box is located in a storage room on the other side of the building, and the 100 amp breaker there was off. When we flipped that breaker, the 50 amp plug worked. I hope that helps if you find the 50 amp electricity is not working. But what a view and what a peaceful, relaxing stay.

We have often stayed in state park campgrounds which are super crowded and often noisy on the weekends so this was a welcome change. It was nice to be close to the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge - https://www.fws.gov/refuge/muscatatuck/. We enjoyed walking on a few of the short trails and coming back to relax & enjoy some wine. A+ for being dog friendly. The only issue we had was related to electrical hook up. If you have an RV that requires 30 or 50 amp service to run the air conditioner then bring an extra long cord. There are no RV cords to be found in Seymour. We went to Home Depot, Walmart and Harbor Freight. There is one 50 amp plug which is about 25 feet from the parking area. Our camper uses 30 amp and I asked Todd before making our reservation if they had 30 amp service. He said there were several electric hook ups around the parking lot and that they have never had a problem. While we do have a converter to use 50 amp service our cord was short by about 5 feet. We were able to use our orange cord in a regular socket so we had electricity for lights and fans. I was thankful the evenings were cool and we had a nice breeze Saturday late afternoon.

This had great potential with beautiful views, but it was nothing more than an overpriced boondocking spot. We purchased this location with the notion that it had water hookups. Upon arriving, we were left to park in the upper lot like instructed. Once we unpacked our four kids and setup, we went to hookup the water and it wouldn’t work. I then contacted the host who casually texted back that apparently the water in the upper lot had been shut off due to winterization. He then stated that there was water down the hill near the main building. No “sorry for the inconvenience”, or even an ounce of empathy. Not only would it be an impossible place for us to park, but as I have already stated, we had already unpacked and set up. We ended up boondocking for the evening in their parking lot, but could’ve easily done the same for free down the road at Walmart.

Very nice scenic campus. We were there alone. Excellent opportunity for solitude and to relax. Enjoyed the wine tasting on 1/1/21. Purchased several types of wines for other family members. May return again in the spring.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Mark’s winery / brewery. Camp near the grapevines and pastoral farmland. Mowed grass sites for tents or parking areas for vehicles. A cute town with all provisions and restaurants is about a mile away. Thank Mark for sharing his bit of paradise with a glass of wine or beer. I will definitely be back. You won’t be disappointed. P.S. Wait till you see the sunset view !
